My mom has moved into Monarch House. What I like most about them is their involvement with their residents, and the attention that each resident receives. The place is very pleasing and very pleasant. It's a very, very pleasant atmosphere. The staff members are caring and very interactive with their residents. They stay on top of changes and the needs of their residents. They have a beauty salon, a movie theater, an ice cream parlor, a game room, a bar, an arts and crafts room, a solarium, and an outdoor patio when the weather in Georgia permits.

I have friends who lives in Monarch House. I liked it because it had a garden on the top so you could have your own plants, and it also had transportation. I liked the price of it, but I wanted a larger room. They had a lot of areas though where you could go to sit and read. So, you don't really have to stay in your room 24/7. They had people who could do their nails, a place to get some ice cream, a place for beer and wine (if you wanted to) for the happy hour, a place to watch a movie, for arts and crafts, and anything you really wanted. The staff was also wonderful. My friends said they loved the activities and that they were all good. They took us into the room where their activities were and they were doing things for Halloween. It was great.

My wife went over to Monarch House for a short term; it was just 30 days. I would give it an A+. It's a small enough place. They have a lot of activities. They had pretty good staffing, and they provided all the services that we needed. It's better than a lot of other facilities I've looked at. They had lots of fresh flowers. They were decorated very nicely. It wasn't overly crowded. They maintained it well. Everybody seemed to work really hard to keep everything looking good and to make sure everybody had good care. There were exercise activities. There were 4-5 activities a day that my wife attended for a while. The value for money was excellent. I couldn't ask for more. It's worth at least looking into it and comparing it with other places in the area.

My mother-in-law moved into Monarch House for two or three weeks. It's just a very nice facility, everything was well done, the food was good, the facility was good, and the care was excellent. It was just a very, very good place to be. The staff was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very caring. The rooms are very nice size, and it was kept very clean. The location was very good also. They're very accommodating to whatever your needs are, they help the best they can, and they're the ones who were able to get us a nursing home for her.

I was very impressed with how Monarch House was laid out and with the staff, and I saw activities going on with the activity director. It's a very nice facility, there's not a lot of hallways, and there's a lot of open public areas where people can socialize. The rooms were nice sized. We would live there. It looked like a brick office building on the outside, but it completely transformed the minute you walked through the door. They had a movie theater, an ice cream parlor, beauty parlor, and a rooftop garden. It was lovely.

I liked everything about Monarch House. They had a movie theater, a bar, a soda shop, and a hairdresser shop. The people that showed me around were excellent, the rooms were very spacious with its own air conditioner and heating controller, and TV outlet. Upstairs they have a flower garden, where you could go out and plant. Their rates just went up. They had shuttles for doctors appointments and grocery stores. They let you have a mini fridge and microwave oven in your room.

Care is not worth the $ you pay. The facility is nice and new, however the management sucks. There is no structure in this place. Some of the residents are left in their wheelchair just sitting for hours on hand. The fact that they cannot keep any employees and are always short staffed. I would not recommend moving my parents into this facility.

The care that Monarch House provides my mother is excellent. Her room is very clean. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. They have activities at the facility. The dining room is very neat, very clean, and very open. They have an excellent movie theater and a diner where you can get popcorn and ice cream and it's a common area for socializing. Everything there is above average because it's a brand-new facility.

Monarch House is brand new and it's where we put my mom. It's absolutely gorgeous, beautiful, very clean, upbeat, and cheerful. The dining area is fabulous. The staff is great and they hire the best people there. They are just getting activities started, but they have a movie theater and chair exercises. Their goal is to make it the best in Newnan and I think they're well on their way to doing that. The price is very reasonable and my mom gets tremendously better care.
