Our tour experience with Wesley Woods of Newnan was remarkable. Their community was more like a country club than an assisted living. It was just spotless. As you walked through, it was very spacious. The level of care was just exceptional in every way and it would be the community that I would want to go and live in if I needed to be there. Their professionalism was exceptional. In terms of the staff and the programs, they were just remarkable in what they offered. The facility was laid out extremely well. It was spacious. It was immaculate. The dining room felt like a five-star restaurant when we walked in. It was well maintained. We didn't see anything that was out of order there. It was great. We met several staff people. They were very welcoming and very considerate of the challenges that we were having as we were trying to find a place for my mother-in-law. They took everything into consideration, and everything that we had a need for, they had an answer for it. They had a theater room, a prayer room, and a garden area that made you feel like you were on a vacation site in the Bahamas. It was very warm and very well maintained. We see a lot of people walking around. So, it just felt so private.

Wesley Woods of Newnan is in a more rural, quiet, and smaller setting. They have duplex cottages which are quite spacious and apartments. It's very nice. The food and staff were nice and there were not as many amenities or activities as other places, but I'd recommend it. I went into the cottages, which were 2,000 square feet so there's plenty of room. The dining room was pleasant, nicely-decorated and the staff was great. The food wasn't great, but it was very good.

I like the fact that they have little cottages that you can buy. You can go to eat in the dining room or they have a shuttle to go to the mall. But for the most part, you manage the cottages. Their staff at Wesley Woods is pretty. The food appears to be nice. One of the things that we were looking for was that we wanted them to accept dogs. The other thing is we wanted to be able to have a fence so that we can let the dogs out to go to the bathroom without us having to walk them. They are OK with that. I think it is called continuous. You start off in a cottage, and if you need assisted living then you move into the other building. If you need a nursing home, you move to another building. The dining area looks fancy. It has white tablecloths and flowers. We didn't actually look into the cottages because people lived there, and they didn't have any available to show, but they looked fine.

The one I visited that was nearest me, which was also one of the nicest places, is called Wesley Woods. This facility was beautiful. They seemed to have a really nice environment for my mom. I talked with their manager and the people there and they seemed to be confident and genuinely caring. This facility was just too expensive. I highly recommend Wesley Woods if you are looking for a good quality place.

When I first visited this retirement community the staff greeted us with smiles and conversation. They then quickly took us on a tour of the facility which to me seemed very nice and had lost of up to date things. When then helped out the retired members of this community with whatever they needed from gardening to playing board games. Everyone I met here from both staff and resident seemed to really enjoy being there and the atmosphere was very happy. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because there are some things they could have added or updated but they definitely provided more than necessary and one of the nicest staffs of any place I have been. I think Wesley woods is definitely a facility that other retirement communities should model themselves after and I have no problem saying that I would love for my grandparents to live here if they chose to live there.

The place was beautiful and big. A lot of space and many things to do. People who lived there seemed to be happy and the workers seemed the exact same way. There was basiccally 3 type of people: Indepentents, need of a little assistance, and mental loss patients. They were all friendly with each other, and the memory loss facility had locked doors that were a bit nerve-racking. The food was actually very tasty, and the people were a lot of fun! There was a wide variety of things to do and activities for the elders to be apart of. There were actual couples living together, which was quite lovely!

The staff was very attuned to my friends needs, family support was excellent and care was excellent. It was a placement that could have only been improved by my friend going there sooner for her benefit and for her family.
