The food and service together were really poor at Chaparral Winds Retirement. The apartment was bigger and it had an attached garage. We're on a waiting list for it. Everything was fine as far as we were concerned. They provided the travel within a ten-mile radius. I had no problems, except the food was not the best. It's a month-by-month rent.

Chaparral Winds Assisted Living was the facility we liked the best of all the ones we looked at. Their apartments were new and lovely. They had a gazebo, which would be your own private place. We liked that very much. The staff was wonderful. They have different activities like swimming, activities, card games, and many more.

My cousins found Chaparral Winds for their mother. They did all the research. They studied them all and told me it was the best. I thought it was very nice. The staff was very nice and very friendly. I was very impressed by them. My aunt has a private place that has a sleeping area and a little living room. It seemed nice and was adequate. I think my aunt liked the food. The dining room looked nice, although it was not fancy. I would recommend this place to anyone. I was impressed when I was there.

The one that we liked the best as far as the housing is Chaparral Winds. They were quite good. We had lunch there and the food was good. If we were to make a choice this is the facility that I would choose.
