My father is a resident of Woodmark and has been for two years. Woodmark is clean and very well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and inviting. The dining room is well staffed and the food is great. The nursing/care staff is wonderful. They are very attentive to the residents. Extra thank you to Ben and Willy!!! The office staff is great to work with and they always make the time to take my call. When I come to visit they go out of their way to say hello. Woodmark continues to take great care of my dad and with me being out of state is a huge relief. If you’re looking for a new place to live you don’t need to look any further. Woodmark is your new home.

I toured The Woodmark at Sun City. I looked at their two-bedroom unit compared to whatever else they had, and I thought it was fine, especially the one they had furnished. It was done well. They had a sofa in one room, the main room, and their small kitchen, so it looked like they had a lot of things. The staff was nice. She assisted me. She was very helpful in giving me answers to everything I asked. We even looked at the entire facility and we had meetings going on and all the things, and it was good. I enjoyed it. I saw a lot of people, some with walkers and some with wheelchairs, walking around, and I thought that was very prominent for me because that's what I like to do.

I toured The Woodmark at Sun City. They were very open to anything that would be helpful to me. They're very friendly. They showed me two apartments. I think they had bigger rooms available, but the only appliances I wanted were a dresser and a TV. They did anything I asked them to do. The staff who toured me around was very friendly and knowledgeable. Meals are included. I didn't look into those options, but supposedly they have a really good cook. The building itself looked very clean and very well-kept. However, it didn't look like the pictures I saw online. It looked a little bit smaller.

I liked everything about The Woodmark at Sun City except the size of the room. It was very small. It was claustrophobic, but they had a nice courtyard. I toured the memory care and the staff there was very nice, informative, and caring. It was very clean and there was lots of light. It's close to restaurants, hospitals, shopping, and anything. It's in Sun City, so it's close to everything. It's very centrally located.

The Woodmark at Sun City was very pretty. I liked the fact that the residents can leave on their own. I liked the smiles on the faces of the people there. They were very nice and very friendly. The director was very friendly and explained everything to us. The staff who took me around was very, very friendly. He was thorough about everything, and explained to us the very little details, and he answered all of our questions. They had a restaurant inside. The apartment had a microwave and refrigerator.

The Woodmark at Sun City is a nice community. The people there are nice. The medical staff probably needs work, though, because when we first got Mom there, they locked up her medication and they couldn't get it the very first night and she needed her liver medication. They handled the situation after I got on the phone with it, but it's something that shouldn't happen. They say they offer transportation services, but oftentimes my mom couldn't get it to her dialysis, which was very important. She missed like five days in a row of dialysis. Outside of that, it is a pretty decent place. The food is great. She loves the activities there. They got bingo and she enjoys playing that. It keeps her active and social. The people are great and they have lots of activities. It's expensive, but compared to other places, it's OK.

Everything about Woodmark at Sun City was very nice. The gentleman that gave the tour was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He showed us a lot of activities for them to do. There's a movie theater, a craft room, a music room, two different gym facilities, and a lounge/activities bistro area where they actually offer happy hour every day. What I liked best was the group of women sitting around just laughing, having a good time, and just enjoying life. The apartments were nice, clean, and had plenty of space. Their dining area was very nice. There were outdoor patio areas as well as an outdoor dining area that was all very clean and nice.

The Woodmark at Sun City was a little bit smaller, and I don't think they have as many amenities as the other places. The biggest thing was that it didn't have an in-unit washer and dryer. They could improve the laundry part of it. That was a big part that made it not as desirable. The only staff we interacted with was the salesperson, and he was very nice. It didn't seem like they had as many group-type activities like card playing, bingo, and activities like that. There was a gym of sorts, but it wasn't huge. The cleanliness was okay. In terms of location, it's close to Banner Boswell Hospital and there are lots of restaurants around there.

All the residents at The Woodmark at Sun City seemed to be very happy. The rooms were very nice. They had a lot of facilities and activities for the residents. It looked like something we would be very interested in. We looked at the menu. They were already having lunch while we were there, and it looked like a pretty nice menu. I like the fact they had alternate menu for the residents. They take the residents out on trips to do shopping and other activities. They also had lots of bingo, and they had movie theaters. It was just something that makes them feel at home.

I was impressed with The Woodmark at Sun City, but my wife did not like it. She would like a nicer facility. I was satisfied, though. The staff was very nice. The rooms were perfectly adequate. The meals were included, and they had what I would expect for the activities. The population was considerably older than us, I would say. They were probably very limited in what they could do, but I was very impressed with how well they were socializing among themselves. There was a lot of interaction among the group of people they had there. They had a room for people to do things. Mostly, it's just socialization there. They did have a library, and they had a room where they could do things like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and light exercising, but there was no one in there taking advantage of it. There was just the staff person. It wasn't a large room, but they did have a room for that purpose. I gave it a 3-star rating because I have had the opportunity to be in some very nice facilities. I have seen nicer places. But for the price, it seemed very reasonable. It didn't seem out of range. I thought that it was very clean and light. It was nicely decorated and it seemed very comfortable. The residents seemed happy. I just got a good feel for the place.

We toured The Woodmark at Sun City. That was a very nice community. I really couldn't complain about anything about it because it was very nice, very clean, and the staff was amazing. Our biggest problem was getting my friend the financing that he was going to need to be part of it, but all the housing units that we looked at, as far as price wise, their prices were fair and the care that he would be getting there would have been perfect because he is almost fully disabled right now. The rooms were very nice. Everything was very clean. The staff was very nice also. It was a well-rounded community. They had a dining room, and the location was good because it was close to everything, too. They had transportation, so my friend wouldn't have to have a vehicle there. There was a certain day of the week they went shopping and a certain day, they went out to the movie theaters and things like that. It was an interesting set-up the way they had that. I couldn't think of anything negative about them. They were dynamite. It was very clean; it was good. The staff were very knowledgeable about everything. Everything was great.

We visited The Woodmark at Sun City. They offered independent living but even the gentleman we talked to, he was very nice, said that it's not for my brother. The average age there is in the 80s and my brother is 68, so they would be way too old for him. The apartments were absolutely beautiful and brand new. The only thing is that because it's a mix of independent, assisted, and skilled, the apartments do not have a stove. They only have a microwave, that way they can interchange who they put in the rooms. There's a hiking path, and they had some people there from memory care. The gentleman also said that they do biking, and the area that it is situated in was very nice for that. There was no secure gate to protect independent living residents' vehicles and things like that. So they had more green space because of where it was situated, the neighborhood wasn't as urban and it was very quiet. The upkeep and maintenance were excellent, so everything looked really clean and everything looks nice. The person who gave us the tour right at the gate said that he doesn't think it was our place. He wasn't very positive, while the other place we toured was very positive.

We went to look at The Woodmark at Sun City. The two bedrooms that the staff showed us had a small patio. There was a microwave in the unit but no stove and a good-sized refrigerator. They are licensed. You go in as independent living, and then if you need assisted living, you can stay in your original unit. They also have memory care. They have a small library, theater, game room, and medical staff. The facility was nice and clean. In the activity room, they were playing cards. They have a small fitness center with exercise bikes. You can have physical therapy where people come and work with the people living there.

My mom has moved into The Woodmark at Sun City and she likes it there. She's been in their memory care for about 2 months now. I like all the different activities that they have for the residents to do. The staff is nice too. They have bingo, happy hour, and cornhole. They have nice rooms in memory care. They're clean and updated. I haven't tried their food but I have heard that it's good. Most of the people there enjoy it. I like that they use real dishes too and not paper. They have a salon and occasionally they take the residents for a drive around the area.

My mom moved into The Woodmark at Sun City. It was actually the lowest cost. They are nice, and they do everything. It goes from independent living to assisted living to memory care. They would assess you and figure out your level of care, and then the price point is based on that. The cool thing is that they can change. They always assess and check you. The nurses, staff, and anybody who works there are kind, courteous at all times, and fun. They keep the residents laughing. They joke with them and treat them like a family that's not clinical. They just remodeled. They have a salon that does everything from hair to nails and beauty stuff. They have a full dining room and activity room. They have exercise, and whether you're doing it yourself, or you have people who are doing the physical therapy for you.

I like The Woodmark at Sun City. I like the location. It's a very nice area. They renovated everything. The two-bedroom is the one that I liked the best. It had a little kitchen, but they don't have a stove. You could bring a microwave in and that kind of thing. I like them the best because they have the independent living, the assisted living, and they have the level of care as you go up. You could have hospice if you get to that point. If I go into an independent living, I would like to go into a facility that had all those because I wouldn't want to move again. It had a nice atmosphere and a nice presence about it. I didn't have food there. They said I could come anytime and have lunch there if I wanted. They're very nice and very friendly. They had a pool table, a library, and you can choose places with a balcony, and you can have your pet. They have little pet doggie bags all over the place and a green area. It's close by a lot of things.

My Mother is so happy here! Beautiful studio room with a balcony. Easy for her to maneuver without the fear of getting hurt. She tells me that the staff is like family and "The food is like home cooking.... Better than I could make " Thank you for taking such good care of her. My Mom is a healthier and happy lady now.

The Woodmark at Sun City is a nice facility. We chose this for my mom because it's close to where we live, getting her in that place was easy, and we liked the layout of the facility. She's just been there for four days, but everything's been fine so far, including the food. Also, the staff is all very friendly, and the facility is very pretty.

We toured The Woodmark at Sun City. They gave us a tour of the rooms, the dining area, and the facilities. It was a typical apartment, and in our case at the time, the room was too big for our situation. My mother-in-law was 97 years old and couldn't see, and it was on the 2nd floor, so it wouldn't work for her. It was more for people that were a little more ambulatory. The dining area was more like a restaurant setting. The staff first gave us a tour, filled us in on all the information we wanted, and was very professional. The place was fine, and it was very clean.

The Woodmark has provided wifi in the rooms but it is extremely unstable. So many of our attempts to see and talk with our Dad through zoom/messenger are aborted by weak and unstable wifi. A stable system ought to be top priority during lockdown. Not all families live close enough to come by for for short outdoor visits. And not all residents can make it to the door. PLEASE do some thing about the wifi!

I don't know everybody at The Woodmark at Sun City yet. I had very very good luck with Jerry who was the man that I dealt with on the phone about visiting the Woodmark. I was sorry to hear that he resigned his position because I thought he did a very good job answering my questions. I met another staff member and she is the executive director. She met with my cousin as well and I thought that she was very thorough in her interview. Monique, the nurse, came in and visited with my cousin and I thought she was very thorough also. I also dealt with some of the night staff while I was there visiting and moving her things. They were very helpful. They helped me navigate the hall and told me things about medication and when that will be administered. So far, my experience with the staff has been very good, although very limited due to COVID. The activities there are still limited as well. I met Andy who is the activities director. I thought he was very personable and he told me that the activities will be opening this week with social distancing. I thought the food was excellent, and I think they're doing a really good job with the food. The facilities need some updating, but my understanding is that they're going to remodel.

The Woodmark at Sun City was fine, but the grounds wasn't quite as available for people to go and see. It's very close and tight. I didn't find it as open for people to really enjoy the outdoors. The rooms were bigger, but a bit more expensive than the other places. The staff was very nice. It's not fully populated.

The Woodmark at Sun City was pretty nice and the people seemed pretty nice. I wasn't impressed as much about where it was though. The rooms didn't actually have privacy doors for either room. They just had a division wall in the ones we saw, and then there was a main door out of the room. They also have to share closets and there's only one bathroom. They have art classes, music and bingo.

The staff members did very well with showing us different things. They showed us a room, the activity that was going on, and the different places where residents go.

The Woodmark at Sun City was a high rise 3-story building. It didn’t seem as personable as the other place did. The 3rd floor was locked, and the rooms were small. It just didn’t impress me. It wasn’t the place I wanted for Mom. Most of the residents were in their rooms while I was there. It was just too big and too urban for Mom.

The Woodmark at Sun City had very good restaurant food. The rooms are bigger and much nicer. The place is a little bit newer. I felt the activities were fine. They have pictures up on the wall of all the assistants. There were at least 8 of them that had been there 10 to 14 years -- an average of about 12 years -- and a lot of them were there 7 to 9 years. That impressed me that the people are comfortable with the place where they work in caring for the people. On the assisted living floor, there was a smell that smelled not as fresh, but more of old people. A lot of people leave their doors open, and it has different smells. It just didn’t seem as fresh as the first floor. The outside grounds were nice. They had a nice garden area with a statue fountain thing. They had a really nice patio area. It would be windy, but you could still see out. There was a lot of vegetation, and the view was beautiful with the mountains. I was very impressed with it.

The Woodmark at Sun City was very nice. It had an area for about 40 patients. I met the head nurse and she was well informed. Their staff had been there for quite some time, which is good. They all had the training and certification for memory care. They had directed care. It was a big facility and it had different levels of care. There were quite a few residents there, and the memory care section of the building was locked up. I was impressed with the nurse director and all the training that she had, so I would recommend it because of her. The room was a bedroom type room that had a refrigerator and a microwave.

The Woodmark is quite equal with the other facility we visited, and the problem that we were working for was the longevity of her stay in one of those places without having to move her. Woodmark is the place where we could move her in there and she could stay there possibly three or four years. It was a nice facility and the people were very friendly, but it was in the event that my mother-in-law run out of funds that she was going to have been moved somewhere.

Everybody's really nice at The Woodmark. They seem to know all the residents and there was a lot of people around. The rooms are good. They had a lot of different choice of sizes. The dining room was very nice and very pleasant. I know they had exercises classes. They have exercise room, they have bingo, poker, cards, and they go outside for activities once a week. They have memory games, too. What I like was they have a unique program that I didn't find anywhere else. It's called the Monarch Program. It's to keep married couples together when one has memory issues and the other one doesn't. That's the main reason why I picked them. I didn't want to split my mom and dad. They have a whole floor for couples where the memory care person can get the care they needed and the spouse that doesn't have memory issues has the freedom of assisted living rather than memory care.

I chose to place my mother at The Woodmark at Sun City. It's beautiful and they're very attentive. And, I like the fact that she has her own little apartment, it's not just a room. All of the staff is excellent. The ambiance is very elegant and very nice. I am very happy that she is there. She's been there for two months now and so far everything is going very well.

We liked the The Woodmark at Sun City. It had a two bedroom with two bath which was really nice. But my mom noticed that they did not have a swimming pool.

There was an available room at The Woodmark at Sun City so we put mom there. She was very comfortable there and she liked it. They had activities for her and they had very good food.

We liked it, but it's a small community and I needed a larger one for dad to get him more involved with things. I would considered this facility as far as assisted living or for nursing care. The staff were very accommodating and the place is surrounded with a lot of eating places and Walmart. It's has a very central location.
