Mera City Center is a 55+ community. It's not even assisted living or anything like that. It's completely independent living. It's an apartment complex. They are a brand new facility. The pool was nice because it had a ramp that you could literally walk into. If you had a hard time doing stairs, you could easily get into the pool. They had lanes for lap swimming. They had someone come in and do hot water aerobics. You had three different floorplans. There was a 1-bedroom, a 1-bedroom with a den, and then a 2-bedroom. We looked at the 1-bedroom with a den because it was just a lot more space. Everything was updated. You had stainless steel Samsung appliances, granite countertops, and brand new cabinetry. The price depended on what your backdoor was facing. If you were facing the courtyard that was a grassy area where the pool was, then you were going to pay a higher price than if your patio was facing towards the exterior of the building complex. The staff during the tour was wonderful. She answered all my parents' questions and told them everything that they needed to know. She was super patient. She didn't have another appointment after my parents, so she was able to sit and answer any questions that they had. They don't have a dining area because they're completely independent living, but you have a full kitchen. It's an apartment complex, but they have happy hour. They have an area where you can get free coffee. They put out bagels, toast, and oatmeal so you could take something. You can even reserve the kitchen area. They had a common kitchen area that was really nice. If you want to have a party, you could. They had a library, a puzzle area, games, poker, and Scrabble. They also had a golf simulator. There was a baseball and a basketball computer generated game.

Mera City Center did not offer meals, but they had full amenities and it was brand spanking new. They had a swimming pool, a fitness center, game rooms, a barbecue area outside, and a Bocce ball court. The apartments were spacious and the price wasn't too bad. It was very nice and the size was fairly big. It had granite countertops throughout the kitchen, brand new appliances, a washer dryer, dishwasher, a stove, oven, and a refrigerator. All stainless steel. Plus an outside area with a storage room. The lady was excellent and the people were very happy. Cleanliness was excellent, too.

My husband and I will be moving into Mera City Center. We chose it because it's brand new and it has a lot of wonderful amenities. The price was a little more than we thought we would spend, but it is definitely worth everything that they offer. It's all independent. The staff is very nice. They don't give food. They have every activity that you can think of. It's very clean. I would tell others to check into it because it's very good.

I had an appointment with Mera City Center. When we went down there, the office was closed. The gal that just happened to be there was the one that was going to open. She showed us an apartment, and she was very nice. The apartment was very nice. We've toured a 2-bedroom. The living room wasn't really big, but I was thrilled with the rest of the apartment and amenities. They've got a pool, bocce ball, exercise room, and room that you can rent if you want to have a function there. They have a room for putting puzzles together and all that kind of stuff. There is an elevator and balconies. They offer one free month of internet. They did have a really nice area where you could go in and get coffee, but I don't remember if they actually offered meals to independent living. I just met the gal that was just there. She was awesome. There was another couple there that had rented an apartment. They wanted to go up and measure it, and so she let us go up with them. It was nice and wonderful. I did not really see residents. We just went up and were in the room most of the time and in the lobby.

I went to look at Mera City Center. It is a beautiful complex and very nice. It is a brand-new community and has been open for about six months. It is about 63 percent occupied. The two apartments that I looked at were very spacious and very comfortable. It was clean and nice. I have a little dog, so it's pet-friendly. There's a lot of walking in there. Their main office or the place where you pick up your mail and packages is quite a distance. If you live in the farthest out building, it is kind of a long distance. They were very, very nice people. They don't serve any food. I just met the one that gave me the tour. She was excellent. You could wear a mask, but it wasn't mandatory.
