I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We love Sunville Resort in Mesa. The Staff is Amazing! The unit are a little older but perfect for what we need. The whole Community of the Fountain of the Sun is the best. Clean, mature trees, golf course, pools, billard room, ceramics, and a restaurant just to name a few. Near 202 & 60, very easy access to both freeways.

I am/was a resident of this facility

This is NOT a low cost or affordable apartment. I was priced out after living there 4 years! I had a 400 Sq foot room. No bedroom. They are old, and cheaply done yet my Studio NO BEDROOM apt went from $625 to $855 in a few yrs.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I lived here for several years. What attracted me here was the reasonable rent & the feeling safe. In 4 years my rent went from $625 to $850 This was for a 400 sq ft. Studio. No bedroom, no wash/dry in unit. I could not go into an apt until the day I moved in. There is NO justification for $855 a month for this dilapidated apt. The carpet shd have been changed but it wasn't, it looked like the kitchen was not painted. The "granite" countertops they boast about are patched pieces of granite cemented together unevenly. I felt like it looked like an apartment did in 1960. You have to pay HOA fee for Fountain of the Sun regardless if you don't use the activities. I would never advise this place to anyone.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I've been in SunVilla Resort Apartments for two days now, and I am enjoying it. It's quiet, and so far my interactions with the residents have been quite satisfying; they're pleasant. The facility is nice and easily accessible. It's a nice environment and has great views. This is a 55 and older facility. The apartment is cozy, nice, and small. It's a one-bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The staff is quite pleasant. They're attentive and really nice people. There's a golf course and activities such as pottery, a library, a pool, and senior games. There's much more, I just haven't looked into them. The apartments are easily accessible; they're close quarters.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I lived there for 7 months (got out my lease early) and would never go back. Cracked tiles and counter tops, broken or barely working air conditioners, roaches (from neighbors), carpets that are filthy. Strange paint that is sticky, no privacy, no maintenance for the pool or the facilities as the owners won't pay for any upkeep. Low quality plumbing and lighting fixtures, unprofessional office staff, and no covered parking at this facility. Rent is far more than it should be for this type of property.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

SunVilla has a waiting list a mile long. I was able to get my friend in there because she had lived there before. All of the apartments are right on ground level. She lived there a long time ago, but she had two spine surgeries and I’ve moved her to another facility so she gets more therapy, because her surgeon refused to do a third operation and we couldn’t find any other doctor who is willing to do the surgery so I moved her to a different facility to get therapy. I moved her again here but they had a long waiting list. A bunch of residents found out that she wanted to come back, put a lot of pressure on the office, and then got her all moved. The facility is so nice, they have 1-bedroom and studio apartments, so we put her in the studio because I felt she really needed it. It comes with microwave and air conditioning, and the units were surrounded by other units. This complex was built in the middle of a country club gated community so nobody can get in and out. It is a very secured place and there is a great huge golf course. This facility sits right in the middle of the course and its right next to the main clubhouse for the country club. They allow all these people who live there to go to the country club as they do not have enough things going on in the apartment complex and they can also come and join in with the residents. I love it, and I would recommend this place.
