My mother resided at Mom''s Place from Feb 2007 until Feb 2011 when she passed. Mariana & her staff took wonderful care of my mother & treated as family. I highly recommend Mom's Place.

My mother has been living with Mariana and her caring and capable staff since January of 2012. She requires full personal care, as well as meals and medication, and they offer that and more. Her hair and nails are even done without additional charge! But most important, they treat her with love, as if she were a family member. The few changes in personnel have gone smoothly and the owner is there daily to assure all is going well. My mother, though she is declining quickly in physical and mental ability, is always smiling and peaceful with them. I am amazed to have found this level of service, so reasonably priced.
I LOVE THIS PLACE

My mother moved into Mom's Place in 2005. Her diagnosis was Alzheimers' Disease. This facility is a residential home and we chose this facility because of the "homelike" setting and the owners and staff were very, very nice. Mom's Place can house up to 10 patients. The facility was always clean and homecoooked meals were always the normal. However, as time went by the attentiveness that was shown in the beginning seemed to wane. There was never any consistancy of the personnel working their. The nurses aides' would change almost on a bi-weekly basis and for an alzheimers' patient that is not good. They need consistancy in their lives. My visits to my mother were very frequent so I was able to observe this facility on a weekly basis. I do believe my mother was well taken care of and the home was always clean. But this facility, in my opinion, would be best suited for someone who is still mentally cognitive and can accept change. They do provide Hospice in this facility, but I would never recommend the Hospice services at Mom's Place. I don't believe they are suited to devote that much time to one patient. My mother passed away in April of 2010 so I can only comment on the time spent at Mom's Place up until then.
