I placed my wife in BeeHive almost 6 months ago. She is in the late middle stages of Alzheimer's disease. When I realized I could no longer care for her at home, I used a recommended service to help locate an appropriate facility for her. BeeHive was the first place I visited and I was immediately struck by the open friendly atmosphere of the home. I then toured 3 other facilities and felt so depressed after the tours that I decided not to tour others. BeeHive homes has a very knowledgable owner and very friendly staff. They go beyond caring for their tenants, they actually love them and do so many personable things with each one. My wife struggled for the first couple of months in her new surroundings, but she is very happy with her home now and she banters with the staff and they all constantly come to me telling me what a joy she is . The rooms are excellently appointed,, but also allow you to customize the settings to make your loved one feel more like home. Every room has its own private bath. The food prepared there in their own kitchen is excellent and my wife eats eagerly, which she was no longer doing at home. She receives excellent personal care assistance by the loving staff and receives excellent medical attention by the attending doctor on call who is always quick to text me on her condition. In short I highly recommend the BeeHive home and always feel it a blessing that she is very happy there even though she no longer knows her own family. The BeeHive staff have made her feel she is a part of their family and I can't say how comforting that is to me. Thank you Troy and your wonderful staff!

My husband is currently at BeeHive Homes of Arrowhead, and so far, it is really good. It's a new place, only two years old. It's very clean and very pleasant to go into. Hopefully, I've chosen the right place. The owner, whose name is Troy, was very, very thorough about showing me the place and explaining this and that. He only lives about a mile away from the place. If there's anything outstanding, he's there right away to take care of the problem. I'm very, very impressed with him. He seems like he really cares a lot, and he's got a really good rapport with the residents, too. I think the room is great. The shower has a built-in chair with lots of bars. My husband has his recliner dresser, little refrigerator, and a nightstand; I had it delivered there. It feels more like home. I'm trying to make it feel a little bit more friendly. He's got two windows and then the door of his room goes out into this really nice, covered patio area, where he can go out there any time he wants and just enjoy the weather, and the scenery, and all this. They have a lot of entertainment on one of the outside patios. They take them to different places if the people want to go. I don't know what places. They do their laundry and help them with their showers. There's physical therapy, and the one girl who kind of works with the people when they're in a group. It was really cute. She was right there dancing to some music and the residents were waving their hands and their legs and stuff, kind of calisthenics in a way, but they were in their chairs. And then when I first went in the common area, one was knitting, one was coloring, and one was reading; just whatever they wanted to do. They have an arts and crafts area, too. It's pretty and very positive. I think the food is good. My husband is very picky about what he wants to eat. They ask what your favorite food is, and what don't you like, and they try to cater to that, too.
