This facility is AMAZING! My mother had a rather short stay…she passed away within a week. She was determined to be able to go home. The rooms are very nice and spacious. We were able to bring in her own dresser, reclining lift chair, end table and lamp to make it her own apartment. I “sold” it as an apartment complex with on site laundry service and restaurant with a beauty shop. My mom smiled at me and said it wouldn’t be “as bad” as she thought it would be. The staff were fantastic, patient, and went overboard redirecting her. Kudos to Katie, Ashley, and Holly. The activity director was always very helpful as well. Seems like she was always interacting with the residents. I even overheard them singing with the residents…and not just the activity department. I was there everyday to help make my mother feel “at home”. My mother walked in smiling and looked very impressed. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need. I myself am a retired certified nursing assistant for 30 years and have seen many facilities and this is by far the best in the area!

My mother is fitting in well at Matthews of Neenah and everything's working out fine. They serve three meals a day. It's very well managed, clean, neat, and the price seems reasonable. It has very well-attended grounds. She has a really nice little apartment. There are apartments for seniors. They have wonderful open areas for people to watch TV and play cards. It's in a nice setting and it really is a nice little facility. I'm extremely happy.

My mother lived at Matthews Memory Care for about a year. Her room was small, but she was able to have her own furniture. The staff said there were activities for the residents, but my mother did not attend any. The staff were friendly, but were extremely busy every time I visited. The small dining room area was adequate for the number of residents and the food was varied. Overall my mother did not like living there. She told me she didn't know anyone to talk to and she was always bored. She spent most of the days in her room watching TV.

My mom has lived in Matthews of Neenah/memory care house for for just over a year. I love the care she receives here...they do a great job in redirecting her. Great activities, exercise, crafts, devotion, bingo... lots of music! Great home atmosphere, rooms are a good size and you can make it their own! They truly know how to make this house tour loved ones home and we couldn't be more pleased!!

Matthews has three buildings, so it's more of a smaller community within each building. One building is dedicated to memory care. I liked the facility in general -- the layout, the size of the rooms, just the way things are set up. I also felt that they had a really good memory care program. The only thing that scared me away from them in the beginning was the location. The dining area wasn't extremely large, but I thought it was a nice size for the amount of residents that they had there, so I thought it was very nice.

We went through Matthews: the whole place, the rooms, the price, everything. The staff was good. I liked that it was in a fenced-in area. They have an Alzheimer's facility also. It is a little big.

Matthews of Neenah was very nice, very clean, and very professional. I liked the rooms. They had a spot for a refrigerator, and they had a sink. It was nice, and the rooms were a decent size. The closets are not that big, but they're doable.
