I toured Sage Meadow of Middleton. It was a large facility. There was a QuikTrip right next door, so I could walk right to it. There was a window garden right outside my bedroom. It looked immaculate. They have laundry facilities, an art room, and family rooms. The staff was very pleasant, she was very nice.

Artisans Seniors Living Community didn't seem as flashy and was more quiet. The man who received me was nice and polite but a little bit uptight, but the place was very lovely. They cater to artists, and they promote people to be creative and painting and things like that, so that was interesting. It looks to me as though there are places nearby that you could walk to and get to more easily, like a pizza place.

I visited Artisan previously, and it was really good. It’s small, and they don’t really have grounds, just a little area in a busy intersection where they grow vegetables. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with answering any of my questions. The physical therapy people are just awesome and excellent to work with. The rooms are very nice, and my mother-in-law said the food is good. They have an art program, bingo, and take them out on little jaunts in the van. It would be nice if there were a few more people that would be able to talk to my mother-in-law. I would recommend this, especially for memory care.
