My father has been happy since 2017 at this facility. The facility has increased their care for him as his needs have grown. This is a relief rather than needing to him to move him to another facility. Importantly to me, the facilities' core staff have become like family for me in navigating the waters of an aging parent. They are an advocate for my father in dealing with his healthcare. This "home away from home" gave me a chance to know my father much better than I could have if he had stayed at his home. Plus, he gets the care he needs and I get the support to focus on loving him rather than worrying about him.

Additional Amenity Information
- Special Comment: 19 suite small quaint community that for the most part work for individuals who enjoy using the common areas as their living space and their suite as more of their private bedroom, sitting space. It is a very friendly community with great food and an open kitchen that lets you take in all the aromas.

Brookdale Middleton Century Ave was a small facility. It was fine, but the care that they offered was too intense for my friend's needs right now. We looked at a couple of different apartments and met several of the residents. I think we saw pretty much the entire place, but there was nothing spectacular. The staff was quite competent, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions.

The arrangement at Brookdale Middleton Century Ave would be too small for two people, especially with a dog. What they showed us was a two bedroom, and to me, that looked more like a one person bedroom. It would be lovely if you have a fairly sedentary person, and not someone that's super active. The gentleman that took care of us, Randy, was very kind. It's a small facility and they have a pretty walking path in the back that goes all the way around the building. I think they have senior activities, but none of them were happening when I was there. They also have a little patio in the back. It's very sweet. It's a tiny community.

Brookdale Middleton Century Ave was a very nice facility. It was our number one choice for a little while. Randy, the guy that gave us the tour, was really friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He was just awesome. Everything about the facility seemed as it should for the facility that it was, and the age of it. The rooms were nice and well-kept. I didn't see any issues with them. We walked through their dining area and it seemed reasonable.

Brookdale Middleton Century Ave is only for assisted living. They have a dayroom that's got all kinds of activity things, a little library, and computers. They take people out. There are only 20 rooms in this building, so compared to the other place, this is a very small unit. I observed a few of the staff walking in the hallway with some of the people and doing things. What we saw was fine. We were in there an hour and a half. The marketing director did an awesome job. He really was interested in helping us, so it was awesome.

We liked Brookdale Middleton Century Ave. We were very impressed. I liked that it's a little smaller community and I liked that it's on one level. The person who gave me the tour was very good. The rooms looked very nice and a little small. I wish they were a little bigger, but they were very nice. We looked at just regular assisted living with help with the meds, the laundry, the housekeeping, and the meals. They seemed to have a nice dining room. We did not see any, but they said they have different activities. They have some music off the back patio sometimes and they have a beautiful garden out back where the residents can sit. They explained to us the food and showed us different things, and they're very accommodating to the residents and their needs and wants.

Brookdale Middleton Century Ave was a very nice community. It had all the services I think that we would potentially need. I liked the responsiveness of the administration the most, and the director was very good. The rooms were clean, contemporary, and it was a very pleasant facility all around. It was just too big. It is a multifloor facility, so that was the one that did not work for us. For some people that would be great; but for our purposes, it was not.

We weren't allowed to go inside Brookdale Middleton Century Ave because of the virus, but the person we talked to was very informative and friendly, and we got to peek in a few windows. It didn't look to me to be much different than what we got at the other place, but for considerably more money. The only staff member we saw was the salesperson who sat and visited with us for about close to an hour. It was smaller with fewer residents, which I kinda liked, but it was out of our price range. The size of the room was very close to what the other place had to offer. They were both studios and the larger apartments, which we would not need.

Brookdale was very nice, but they didn’t have an opening. The facility was older but still nice and kept up. The location is a little less busy but nice. The staff was very nice, too. The menu was really good, and you could order different things, which was very nice.
