I went to Tahoma Terrace Apartments. I didn't get to go and see the room, but I did see the dining area and the lobby. The people that greeted me who work there were very nice, and kind, and had a lot of good information. The outside of the building was gorgeous like all the decks and the gardens were just very well-kept and beautiful. I was very impressed. I mostly spoke to one girl, and I talked to her on the phone a couple of times, and she was just always very helpful, answered my questions, and was willing to try to give me a tour in the future, a bigger tour, more of the building. She was a very nice lady. I have a friend whose parents live there, and she said they're very happy there. The apartments were mostly one-bedroom, which would have been fine for my in-laws. They had a very nice dining area. Where it's located is nice, too, because it is on the bus line. They offer van trips to their doctor's appointments and things like that, so that was very nice, too. It's dinner only, but my friends' folks enjoy the meals.

the facilities are very outdated and are in dire need of painting, carpet replacement in the halls and community areas that are extremely stained from spills etc. participating in the dinners is $400 a month (mandatory) and the food is mostly overcooked from frozen and served cold. there are options for a salad or sandwich but these are also far from exceptional choices. you eat what you are served and much of it goes into the garbage. the process for getting indoor parking is takes 2 yrs and putting money down on an apartment does not always guarantee you will get it as current residents have first choice. many residents belong in assisted living.

I'm on a waiting list for Tahoma Terrace Apartments. The assistant manager was very thorough in showing me everything and explaining things. I think for the money you get a lot of bang for it. I'm very pleased with it. I liked the spaciousness of the apartments. The living room, and dining area are great. They also have an evening meal which is included in the rent, which is very nice. They had a library, a media room, a nice lounge, a little woodshop area, and all kinds of things to do. I was in the dining area, though they weren't serving at that time. But the gal that showed me around pointed out a menu that they have hanging, and it looked really good.

I just absolutely loved Tahoma Terrace Apartments. The apartment itself was bigger than I thought it would be, it has a lot of storage space, and it's really, really nice. The people were terrific, and they were able to help me a lot. They have a dining room, card rooms, a gathering room, laundry rooms, and just about everything. They also have bingo, bunco, and even a pool table, and they only serve one meal a day.
