The staff is nothing short of amazing. My father is in assisted living. the staff is always friendly ,helpful and looking out for his best interests. The facility is always very clean, open and bright. the facility never has the smell I associate with hospitals and nursing homes. Many daily activities if you so choose to participate. Have not had the food which always smells good when they are preparing. we are so happy to have our dad in this facility as he likes living here . He always comments that he is lucky to be living here

My parents have been on a list for Meadow Greens. I thought the lady at the front desk was very friendly. They have a piano in the front foyer, and the dining room is very nice and very homey. We saw a one-bedroom in the independent living. It had lots of windows, and it was very nice. They were fixing it up. I thought it was a very caring environment. People were talking to each other and being friendly. I know that my mom would probably feel right at home there. I saw it as a very inviting, warm place. The place appears to be well-kept and updated, too.

I'm just waiting to hear from Meadow Greens because that's where I wanted to go. I liked the friendliness of the place when I walked in. They weren't too busy to talk to me and they were willing to show me what they had. The staff sat down and talked to me about the budget and a lot of stuff. And he was willing to listen to what my needs were and not just what they wanted to offer. Walking through the place, I took notice of what was going on and how they speak to the residents, and they were very friendly. The only problem with the apartment was that it was open underneath the sink, but I think I could work with it. The windows were large enough that you got plenty of light.

My mother-in-law was a resident of Meadow Greens. We ended up just leaving her where she was, and we hired hospice. Then the nursing care kind of stepped up, and we as a family stepped up; that's how we got through it. It was very good. They were not a skilled nursing home. They were just a retirement facility, and they had assisted living. My mother-in-law was on with the assisted living side. They're not set up as a skilled nursing home, but those nurses stepped up and did more than their fair share. They did good when she was just sick. They went above and beyond their means to help us out and did all they could. They were in the room more often and very helpful for us as family with her needs. The food was fine. They did very well with the food. She was not able to eat the last couple of weeks, so that was difficult. We ended up just giving her like yogurt and liquid things, and they were very accommodating with that. The rooms and layout were fine. They have activities, although not as much since COVID has all struck. They do provide activities. It's a very nice facility. They have bingo, puzzles, a library, and different social events. They have a movie night and things like that.

I'm in Meadows Green because of the location, the desirability as a community, and the surrounding environment of a golf course. They have an activities director who was open to ideas, and they do a number of musicals, shopping transportation, book club, and the traditional bingo. We get three meals a day with variety, and it's good.

Meadow Greens is a great place, but the food is bad. It's a good thing I have a good-sized, one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. We have bus trips into town. The people here are very cordial. We have a theater room where we have movies on Friday nights.

My mother, now 94, has been living in Meadow Greens for five years. Her only regret is that she did not move there much earlier. Meadow Greens is overlooking a golf coarse, thus the name, in hope to have active seniors there. Now, however most of the residents are older and less active, thought independent. They have expanded the facility to enclude Assisted Care. I like the facility because it is lovely, a beautiful location and atmosphere, quite social and has most emenities.
