Brookdale Fairhaven has a great staff. The residents are well taken care of. My wife's been very happy. She's had a little bit of an issue with transferring, which to date has kept her in bed. I feel like they haven't seen what she can do. She's been there about three weeks now, but she hasn't gotten out of bed yet because they don't feel comfortable enough to transfer her. She's ready to transfer. So, that's one thing that's been a problem, but overall I would give Brookdale Fairhaven high marks. They've got a good manager and I've been happy with their care. They're very expensive but they do their job. They have plenty of activities. Unfortunately, my wife has been confined to her bed because of the transfer issues, so she hasn't been able to enjoy that or dining in the dining room. So we're waiting for her to be involved in those services, but they have lots of entertainment for the seniors. I think the food's been pretty good.

Assisted Living is a challenging choice, and my Mom has lived in two other facilities before living at Brookdale Fairhaven. I am so grateful for the excellent, caring and dedicated staff, the clarity about my Mom's particular needs, and could not more highly recommend this place. My Mom's room is small, but there are some more spacious apartments with better views than hers. The staff is consistently open, receptive and kind when I have questions. I have utmost respect for them. The activities director works hard to serve diverse needs, and is honoring of each person from what I have witnessed. The nursing team is attentive in just the right way, and the general staff is also very good. The place has a brightness, cleanliness and atmosphere of kindness I deeply appreciate.

Brookdale Fairhaven is a smaller facility, but it’s quite nice. They have a lot of great amenities. It's much smaller and almost too small for me. It's nice, but the rooms don't have much room for the residents. It had almost a nursing home feel which I wasn't wanting. I really liked the people there.

The rooms at Brookdale Fairhaven were very pretty but a little small. I ate a good lunch there. The staff was very nice, but the community was expensive.

Brookdale Fairhaven was pretty, clean, and nice. It didn’t smell like urine. The staff was really nice. As far as the building itself, I would give it four stars.

I saw Emeritus. It was wonderful, it was clean. It was spacious, and everybody got along real well. I went to lunch there. I've never laughed so much in my whole life. We had a great time, and the food was good. The apartments looked nice, and it was a wonderful setting. I liked that there are things you can do there. The people who worked there were lovely. The gardens around it were nice. It's a very lovely place. I did see the rooms. They were smaller than I had hoped.

We chose Emeritus at Fairhaven for my mother-in-law because it was recommended to us. The facility is very clean, light, and airy. The staff are very friendly. She has a private room with a large window out over a garden, and she is very happy with it. She loves it! I have tried the food, and I like it. They have activities, but I don’t know what they are.

I visited Emeritus at Fairhaven Parkway because my former mother-in-law who was a 104 years old was dying and I went there to say goodbye to her. I looked at their bedroom because they had one unit available at that time, and it was very nice.
