My father-in-law moved to Arbor Village Senior Living. It's nice. The way it looked, it was just welcoming. We figured it was a nice place for him. It's clean. The staff, when we call to check on my father-in-law, they were professional. When we're in there, they're very good with him. Everybody is friendly. There are a lot of activities and activity rooms, and there are places for him to walk around. It has a big living room where all the residents sit out, and it's nice. I never tried the food, but my father-in-law said it's really good. Their dining room and the cooks get to cook right there in their kitchen, so they get to watch him. They do arts and crafts. They have entertainment.

I toured Arbor Village Senior Living. It was beautiful and very welcoming. They had three buildings: one for assisted living, one for independent living, and the other one was for memory care. The 1-bedroom apartments were outstandingly beautiful and really large. I was surprised how large it was. They didn't have studio rooms on the independent living side, which was what I was looking for. It was only available for assisted living. The staff that spoke with me was the one in charge. She was ...

Arbor Village was an adequate place for my father until it wasn’t. Don’t take anything with you that you don’t want stolen. Three times he had things stolen from his room…jewelry and even his false teeth😱 Administration didn’t seem to care so the last time we filed a police report which upset management. His teeth were returned about 3 days later. As long as he was healthy enough to do things for himself it was OK. When his health began to fail it was an entirely different story. He would...

My relative is only been at Arbor Village for 3.5 months. I dont understand where the good reviews came from, this place is a NOT a good place to have your relatives taken care of. We spent alot of money and now we are looking for a new place. Staffing issues, call lights not being answered, rude employees, served the wrong food constantly. LOTS of empty rooms, Hmmm....I wonder why. Currently, they dont even have a Manager for the community, they brought someone in from corporate. The golden yea...

We spent six months in Arbor Village. I was there recovering from an injury I had received. Since I was the caregiver I wasn't able to do that, so we needed to be in a place where she can receive care and I could recover from my injury. As far as the care there, it was mixed. Some of the caregivers were very attentive and very considerate, but they did have some that were somewhat arrogant and really didn't want to be bothered. They had a number of things going on in there in addition to the din...

My mother has moved in to Arbor Village. I love it because she loves it, and she's participating in things that she didn't at her other assisted living residence. She's doing the activities, going on the trips, and that's what it's all about, making her happy and comfortable. We tried the food before we moved in, it was very good, and there was quite a selection, so she's happy with it. The place itself is great. It's a little more expensive than anywhere she's been, but she's happy right now, s...

Poor service but it's to be expected with the low quality staff they have working for minimum wage. I was so happy to have moved my mom from here to another facility where the staff looks welcoming and caring. What really upset me the most is for such a high cost place, they seem to only hire unskilled care givers majority of which either don't speak English or hardly do making it very difficult to communicate with myself or my mother on her care needs. If you love your mom and dad, keep them...

My family member has dementia, so he’s not a good one to say what it is like at Arbor Village. All I know is that he likes the food. He thinks he does not need certain services, but that is because he has dementia. I think he is really getting what he needs, and they are fine. If there were any extra costs, they should have been very clear with him because he didn’t realize that he had to pay extra for some things.

We went to Arbor Village, and we really liked it. We would have had my mom at this place. It was absolutely beautiful, and if your parent was able to get around on their own, they had one unit that was for those people. They had another unit for people who couldn’t get around so much, and then they have PT on-site, which was really good for people if they would need that kind of service. And exercise facilities and all the stuff that you needed. It had huge rooms compared to everybody else, and ...

Arbor Village has a memory care unit called The Lodge, an assisted living and retirement community on the same property. The staff was very friendly, understanding, informative, and very accommodating. They weren't pushy. The atmosphere was very nice, and other staff members struck up a conversation while I was waiting. I saw a nice, good-sized one-bedroom apartment.

Arbor Village is a wonderful property. I like it because when you got your home, you would be able to stay there until your death. I've only talked to the sales people, and they were always pleasant and upbeat. The advantage of that property is that it's very close to my daughter and my granddaughter's home. I did look at one of the apartments, and the only thing lacking for me was there were no patios or decks. They do allow small dogs; I have a small dog, and it would certainly be easier for m...

Arbor Village is more of an assisted living community that she doesn't need at this time. I liked that if she needed to go into that type of living; she wouldn't need to be relocated again. I just like that it was nicely put together. It was clean, and they had friendly staff. We had lunch there; it was good. It had a very nice living accommodation. They have a library and a gym, but I didn't see a swimming pool.
