I visited the North Creek by Bonaventure's assisted living. I don't know much about the community yet but I know what I want in an apartment, and it's the only place I've found that has everything. I wanted a washer and dryer in the unit, a full kitchen, air conditioning, and a place I could get outside with my dog. I've been to several other facilities, and theirs is the best for me. It's also not a big place. The lady there who helped me was great.

North Creek by Bonaventure is a very nice place. I would recommend it to anyone. Everybody is very friendly, the staff and the residents. It's a lovely place to live. They have a bus that takes you in groups. They have a movie every night. They have a lightweight exercise program. They have an exercise room. They have a pool room with a pool table. They have several activity rooms and activities going on just about all day. They have special tours that you can sign up for and go out to, like to the casino or to a restaurant. They have shopping two or three times a week. They provide a service to doctors. I'm independent living, but they do a cleaning service once a week, and they change your bed. They will wash your laundry if you wish, but that's for a fee. But I have a washer and laundry in the unit, and I can do my own laundry. The staff I encounter are wonderful. They're very helpful. They're very informative. They're right there, and they're very open with any questions I ask. I don't feel like they're lying to me about anything. They're very frank, very open, and very helpful. The food is very good and well prepared. There's a good variety. The facility is top of the range. For activities they have crafts, card games, pool games, movies, a walking group, and activities off the grounds. They have mailboxes here, and if you receive packages they are more than happy to help you get your packages up to your rooms.

North Creek by Bonaventure is a busy community. It's fairly impacted by roads. They're friendly but limited in space and amenities. The person who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and friendly. We toured several of the available rooms. They were very clean and limited in size and had kitchen amenities.

I like North Creek for its location and because the people are very nice, the food is good, and the apartments are very nice. The staff were all very nice. They answered questions, and they did what they could to help. I've only tried one meal there, and it was very good. The rooms are nice and neat. The place is clean. Things aren't scattered all over the place.

I liked North Creek by Bonaventure. I thought the tour we had was great. Maria, the marketing person, was fantastic, and she did a great job during the tour. The facility was fine. It was really close to where I live, so that would have made it easy to visit personally. It's got a wide range of things that are near. They got a lot of traffic, but people are going to just be walking out of there when they have to go somewhere anyway.

We have been so fortunate to find North Creek by Bonaventure Bothell in our time of need. We visited nearly every Sr Assisted Living Care facility with memory care within a 25 mile radios and from the very start North Creek stood out and set the bar for what we were looking for. I can tell you that without a doubt, this was one of the nicest facilities, but more than that, the residents and the staff all looked you in the eye and were bright eyed and full of life and spirit. How often do you see this at a Sr. Living facility. I am 100% certain that this all flows down from the amazing executive director of the facility- Jessica L. Jessica has to be one of the most caring and loving people I have ever met. She immediately made us feel like family and valued us, understood us, and helped us through an incredibly difficult time. I personally would not have made it through this search and move without her. Everything at North Creek is full of life and vitality thanks to Jessica. We are blessed to be able to move my father here and that they had an opening. If you need a place for a Sr loved one.... you could not do any better than North Creek by Bonaventure. You owe it to yourself and to your loved one to check this place out. 5 stars all the way from the first moment!

My wife moved into North Creek by Bonaventure. It's very close to me and the people that I have dealt with down there are very nice. They seem to treat her very well. I don't see anything that I don't like about it. They serve three meals a day. They have singing, some dancing, volleyball, board games, and Bingo. She's pretty busy all day. They do her bedding every week. They can either call me and I'll take her to her doctor, or they provide a service. They're a little bit understaffed at times, but the people that are there are very nice. She seems to be pretty happy with the food. She's in between needing full-time help and memory care, and they have been kind enough to bring her out of memory care and take her over to some of the things in assisted living, which they know she enjoys. I'm very happy with the place.

We met with Jessica yesterday and were very impressed with her warm, welcoming attitude. She provided us with overview, happily and patiently answering all of our questions. The information she provided was very helpful since we've just begun our research. Then tour of the facility was well-done, and all staff we met during our tour greeted us warmly. Jessica obviously knows all of the residents and each of the staff and everyone was treated with warmth and respect. While the location won't fit our needs, the facility was very reasonably priced. We deeply appreciate the overview and the information we received is very helpful to us as we continue our search. Thank you Jessica! Liela and Lee

North Creek was a very nice, newer, friendly place, and was our second choice. The only difference with the others was the higher cost. The staff who toured us was very cordial and knowledgeable. We saw the residents playing bingo, exercising, and walking. They seemed very warm and cordial. They were more than willing to talk to us and answer our questions.

North Creek by Bonaventure was great. I looked at three different rooms. Two of them had two bedrooms, and one had one bedroom. They were nice and big for one bedroom. They were having bingo. I saw their amenities, and they had activities. They were having bingo and singing Christmas carols when I was there.

This place is okay for an independent senior, but DO NOT place a loved one in this facility if they need assisted living services!! We had a loved one there and recently moved out because the care was inadequate. Family did not hear about issues that could have been taken care of until the loved one was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital because the issue became critical. Turns out, not all medication had been administered, even though was signed off it was administered. (Medicine bottles still had all medication in them.) Also, cleaning of rooms does not really happen. The main room is vacuumed occasionally, but bathrooms are not cleaned at all!

North Creek by Bonaventure was very nice. The staff member who helped us was very good and covered all the information that we needed. In fact, she told us a lot of things that we probably wouldn't have known otherwise. The room seemed a little small but around the same size as others. I think the place was very good.

If you're looking for assisted living, North Creek by Bonaventure would be perfect. They go on rides, and they take them out to different places and tours, and it's all part of the program. The rooms in memory care were adequate, and they had room for 2 people. In the assisted living area, they have small apartments with husbands and wives living together, and they're very nice. It's a high rise, so it looks like you’re living in an apartment. Memory care started at $3,700 a month and went up from there. The dining area was very nice, the people I talked to were very nice, and they had activities and programs. People were happy there, but they didn’t have an educational program.

At North Creek of Bonaventure, I had two lovely ladies showing me the facility. One came to pick me up, and we had a good conversation going over there. The rooms were really nice. The food was lovely. The staff was great. It was all good. However, there was a busy highway nearby, and it was noisy. It was quiet when the doors were closed, but when you opened the slider on the decks, it was really noisy.

My visit at North Creek was not good. The person who toured us was the activities director, who had only been with them a few months, and really couldn't answer our questions. She was not informed. They were very much understaffed. There was no manager and there was no management on the site to find out about ratios to residents to staff. They just didn't have the knowledge, and I didn't know why the activities director was doing the tour on the first place. The facility was beautiful. It was remodeled, and it was nice, but you didn't have that up and up atmosphere. I saw three employees the whole two-hour tour. I didn't know where everybody was. There were no residents in the activity rooms; nobody was around. My sister-in-law has worked with many facilities in the past, so she knows the questions to ask, and everybody we said hi to just stared at us, like, "What do you want? What are you here for?" Overall, there was no rapport. We weren't impressed at all. Also, the location was really bad. It was off a very busy highway. The rooms were nice, but I think they were more worried about their appearance. Everything was being remodeled, but it just wasn't the atmosphere we wanted. They need to have a trained and involved staff.

I really like the apartment lay-out at North Creek -- lots of windows, and it has air conditioning. Bingo five days a week, and very nice people. There are quite a bit of areas or walking paths and so on, and most of the apartments have balconies or patios. The soups are excellent, they have a small salad bar and, most of the time, the food is pretty good; sometimes, very good.

What I didn't like about North Creek was when you came in, there were a lot of people in wheelchairs in the lobby. It reminded me of the old nursing homes where you walk in and everybody you see is in a wheelchair, so that is the first impression you see. I didn't like it, but the rooms were nice, and the staff was friendly. It was a hard place to get in and out of though. The place was clean, and I think they gather there as a meeting place because they enjoy the staff. But when you walk in and you see all of them, you kind of go, "Why are they all in the lobby?" In a lot of other places, they don't seem to gather in the lobby, or they had more room to gather elsewhere.

North Creek by Bonaventure was pleasant and clean. They had a barbecue going on when I visited. They seemed to have a knowledgeable staff. The best part of it to me was that it was very near where my mother lived and we have a lot of family living around there.

I really like the people at North Creek by Bonaventure. They really seem to care and take a personal interest in my mom's care. I think the people are the biggest thing. It just seems to be an upbeat place. It is pleasant, and there are good activities. It seems like a nice place for someone to live. It is a one bedroom, and it looks like a nice apartment or condo. It is beautiful. She is really happy with the food. Their food is great, and I think that everyone that is there seems to enjoy the food. My mom has nothing but good things to say about it. I hear a lot about bingo. The other day I was there, a high school student for his senior project was playing the piano for the residents. It was beautiful, and it was really fun. He played for over an hour, and I thought that was a great activity. Then there was a writer's activity which really interested my mom. It is really special, but it is for a small group of people interested in writing, and one of the staff members does that with the residents. I'm happy with it.

My mother is at North Creek By Bonaventure. They are changing staff a lot, and I think they are doing a lot better now that they have new director, so we are fine. Their new director seems to be doing a good job. They have Bible study and writing class. They were very willing to accommodate her. Her room has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a lot of amenities.

Seriously understaffed and incapable of providing safe and quality care. Quick with charges, but not with assistance. In fact, even in assisted living, if the resident actually needs some assistance, they are scolded for it. They only have TWO assistants available for a large number of residents. Do NOT make the mistake of moving in here.

Do not place your love one here. Huge staff turn over, All Managers have left, still don't have one for most departments. The rent and service plan fee's go up every year. The food DOES come from a can, nothing is from scratch, was they tell you is only for selling purposes. its not the truth.

This facility is very interested in you when you are looking at moving in, but once paying a monthly bill, they could care less. We have lived here over 3 years and never once has our carpet or blinds been cleaned. Going to meetings and asking for things to be done has been useless for a year. In the time we've been here we have had 13 directors and in the past 22 months have had over 7 Dining Service Mgrs. and still the meals need help. I would not recommend anyone moving into this facility the way it is now.

I was very impressed with the kindness of the staff as well as the cleanliness of the property. It was nice that it had an outdoor area with trees and scenery.

This retirement home needs some SERIOUS help. There have been at least 5 to 6 managers in the last 2 years. The food is REALLY bad...sausage and sauerkraut. Medication issues too. You need to get it together!!

My resident friend recently moved to this facility. The nursing staff is very friendly and helpful with the move...as well as helping her keep track of her many medications and frequent medication changes. The unit my friend is in has a large bathroom with an accessible walking shower and the facility provided a shower bench for her. One drawback is the very limited parking options despite being located outside of Seattle. They really should have invested in an adequately sized parking lot for the many residents and other visitors. I typically have to park on a narrow street without sidewalks and cross a busy road.
