My mother has lived at Cogir in Mill Creek for a very long time as an independent living resident. We couldn’t have made a better choice with her, especially with the current director who has made some great decisions for the overall vibe of the residence. I am pleased with all of the staff I’ve had contact with, and I hope they all feel appreciated in their positions. There are many friendly residents from all walks of life. I hope they all have families or friends nearby to visit them. I’ve eaten in the dining room many times. The current chef prepares wonderful meals and the wait staff are very caring and patient. My mother has never complained about the food at Cogir. There is a long list of activities to meet just about any desired need. I find Cogir at Mill Creek to be a very welcoming and warm environment, and I hope my mother can stay as long as she is able to financially. It is kind of a hidden gem.

What I liked the most about Cogir of Mill Creek is they allow pets and I have a dog that is going with me wherever I go. The other thing I liked about it was that when we were doing our tour, there were residents out wandering around, talking to each other, milling around. There were dogs out, milling around. The other places I visited, I didn't see any residents, I didn't see any dogs and it makes a world of difference. It changed the whole atmosphere. It's very clean. The rooms were nice-sized and clean. The dining area looked very pleasant. Kevin was an excellent person to tour with and to talk to. I didn't meet many staff, but the ones I did were all very helpful and pleasant. The residents were friendly and happy. There were different things that I was happy to see there. They have a lot of different activities, game rooms, movie nights, and the pool. All the residents looked pleasant, and so did the dogs I saw. There were no cranky dogs.

Cogir of Mill Creek is very welcoming and beautiful. However, it's just too large for my father. The decor is beautiful, very pleasant, clean, and nice. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The dining area looked very nice. I didn't taste the food, but what I saw was appealing. For activities, they have pages and pages of activities available. They have a book that you can sign every day. They can take you on tours. They can do everything that you would want to do.

My father has moved into Cogir of Mill Creek. He's independent living right now. He moved in a few weeks ago, but so far it's been good. The staff is very good. Kevin is very helpful. His room is bright, clean, and cheerful. He likes it. It's just a studio. He likes music and they have a choir and a piano player, and he gets to play his guitar. There's a library, a courtyard, a billiards room, and a little movie theater. They provide meals. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. He says they give too much food. It's pretty expensive.

Cogir of Mill Creek was beautiful and clean, but they had an activity going on right at the entrance, which seemed fairly crowded for visitors coming and going. They said they could come up with furniture for the apartment, but then they wanted to charge a lot more for that. They had a pool, but it wasn't open all the time.

Cogir of Mill Creek was a lively place. It was like a party every night there. They've got so much stuff scheduled. This was a newer place and it was pretty high-end. Two-thirds of their community don't need any assistance. They're just retired, downscaled, and got money. Only a third of their residents needed assistance. That's the impression that I got. I saw their dining room and their menu was quite impressive. I saw what was on a couple of plates when we walked by, and it looked pretty good to me. They showed me the apartment that my mom could have, but it was not ready for a resident to move in yet. The rest of the place was nice. They had a movie room. They had a huge library, and it was massive. They also had a dance floor.

My mother recently moved in with the intent to stay and take care of herself with the recent passing of her husband. The apartment is nice and all set up. Unfortunately, eating in the dining area makes it almost impossible for her to stay. Why would any organization keep an angry person around seniors? What does this do to the moral of the staff? She is already talking about moving out and it hasn't been two months.

We went to Cogir of Mill Creek. It's similar to the other places we went to. The interior seemed to be updated a little bit more or got built more recently. The staff is very accommodating and showed us around. They have both studios, single bedrooms, two-bedroom, and special situations if you're together. I'll probably give them a four because of the location issue.

I'm thinking of moving to Cogir of Mill Creek because I like their amenities. They have a swimming pool, gym, billiard room, bistro, cinema, beauty salon, and library. They have a lot of stuff to keep people active. The person that I spoke with during the tour was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

My dad and I toured Cogir of Mill Creek. He liked that place the most, because it was close to where he is currently living. The apartments were also very nice. The maintenance was fine. The staff was great and very helpful. There were lots of people out doing things, particularly in the common areas. There was definitely a buzzing of people. Their dining area looked very nice, too.

What I like about my tour at Cogir of Mill Creek was the fact that there are a lot of activities that are put on by the residents. It's not like you have somebody there that has to entertain you, it's people that are independently doing things, it's not just somebody sitting around reading a book. So there was a lot of interaction between the people that live there. You don't have to move from where you are when you need assistance, so assisted living is incorporated. The only thing that turned me off about them is that the rooms on the second floor are not air-conditioned. They only had air conditioning on the main floor, common areas, or the hallway so you just open your doors. Well, on a 90-degree day, that's not gonna do it. The person who took me around was a lovely person, very upbeat. They offered to have us come back for some event they were having which would have included a meal, but we opted not to go. It seems like everything was in one place, the library and the living room area were all one in one great big room rather than having it separate. Like with some of the other places I went to that had the library as a separate thing.

My tour at Cogir of Mill Creek was wonderful. I wish we could afford it, we'd move there. The place was amazing, it was well laid out, and everything was kept up well. It's got nice wide hallways, everything was clean, and the people were friendly. They also offer some assistance, but those are extra costs. They didn't have advanced memory care, which would mean that you'd have to move if you got to a point where they couldn't help you. The room has a small stovetop, a small oven, and a small fridge. It was a nice-sized room. It's a little bigger than the other place I toured in terms of square footage. We had lunch there, but the food was overcooked, you couldn't cut it with a knife. The facility itself was wonderful.

I visited the Cogir of Mill Creek. The facility itself was beautiful, it was very, very nice. They have nice rooms and the dining room was beautiful, it looked inviting to have your meals there. The staff, Kevin and the woman there, they're so friendly and very helpful. I liked the amenities they had and the outdoor space. I didn't try the food but I liked the fact that it's open so you can go any time of the day. There are no certain meal times, and I thought that was appealing that you can just go and order whenever you want. It's a nice feature.

My mom is in Cogir of Mill Creek. The facility is very clean and very nice. The rooms are spacious. Sometimes, the food is not so pleasant. They are short-staffed. They have way too many residents for the care that's being given to people. They have concerts. They play bingo and go on outings. They have a pool, a community garden, and a workout room. They should increase their staff and have healthier food options.

Cogir of Mill Creek has 195 residents. Ellie was the one who showed me around. I'm on a waiting list with them. You don't put down a deposit until you're about 30 days away from moving in (which would make sense). They have two meals a day, good food, and you can get a washer and dryer in the unit. They have some storage, they do house cleaning once a week, and they may change your sheets once a week. They have a small dishwasher in the unit and a little kitchen (which was a plus) because I want to be able to cook something, especially breakfast. They have a swimming pool, the very nice meeting and community rooms, a movie room, and a pool table. They're near a whole lot of restaurants and shopping. They have a lot of trips to special events and shopping. They have walking trails, a doctor on-site, and two nurses at all times. So, you can get care if you need it. I liked that they have designated parking that's covered. In the two bathrooms, one had a tub, one had a shower. They're the only ones that had direct TV. I can get the Comcast business internet too. So, they had everything I needed basically.

Cogir of Mill Creek had a lot of diversified activities. It all seemed to be there. They had everything that my aunt needed. The rooms were standard for an independent living facility. They were the perfect size. They had a full kitchen. They were very clean and very nicely maintained. The staff was super helpful and answered all of our questions. We were there for about an hour and a half. They have a restaurant. You have a server, and the menus were very impressive. You have your choice of comfort food versus extremely healthy food. They had everything, including a pool, an exercise room, a movie room, Bridge, clubs, and stuff where people could meet. Everything that you would need was there.

I visited Cogir of Mill Creek, they're very nice people and it looked like a very nice facility. The staff knew their subjects very well and showed us around, without wasting a lot of time walking through the whole place. The apartment we looked at was nice. Moving from our house after so many years, anything like that seems small with not much storage, but the room was nice. Their workout facilities, pool, and library all looked very nice. As far as we could tell, the atmosphere looked nice and the people were friendly. The facilities looked very clean and very nice.

I would just say that I had a very positive impression of Cogir of Mill Creek. It seemed to be a wonderful environment. They have quite a chef there and quite a food program going. They have a quite fantastic culinary program, and they don't have scheduled mealtimes. The residents can stroll into the dining room and be served like a restaurant and eat when they want to. An entire culinary program is a different approach and I think it's wonderful. Their chef did make me a lunch. My exposure was extremely limited and if I came, I was a prospective customer, so of course, the staff was wonderful. I think they're wonderful anyway. What I did experience was very positive, but it was also very limited. I was served lunch. We went to the side dining room. The chef came in and sat and chatted a while, and I think their entire food program is exceptionally good. The lunch was perfectly fine. I'm vegetarian also, so it involves something a little off the beaten path. The fellow who was touring me through there chatted a little bit and said when they brought the chef on board, he wanted to get very high-quality ingredients and to shop locally and to just actually really be a chef. At first, corporate was like, "You want to do what?" But then they realized that he had something awesome going on and they even have a little garden the residents like to tend, so he has fresh herbs and brings in locally fresh products, products of all different varieties. Instead of one truck rolling up with standard institutional food, they have lovely, fresh things with high-quality ingredients. My meal was perfectly fine, but they chatted at some length about it, and I was very positively impressed by that. It's very nice and very pleasant. They have a swimming pool there. At one point, people could bring guests, but with COVID, things have kind of changed. They do stuff like water aerobics and fitness things, and it's for the residents. The facility was quite nice, and it's in Millcreek, so it's pretty upscale.

We've already chosen Cogir of Mill Creek for my stepmom, and we will be moving her in by the end of the month. We are familiar with it because my grandmother lived there. The place was great. The staff were very friendly and very outgoing, and my mom is so very welcome. I like the grounds; it is more residential, and it's not right on the street, which is nice. The big thing is the staff and everyone we passed was friendly. They talked to my stepmom about what they do and their services.

My wife and I helped her Dad move into Cogir Mill Creek and we had an exceptional experience. David was our primary leasing contact, and he provided top notch service throughout the process. Everyone was very accommodating. The room was nicely renovated, clean, the grounds and facilities are well kept, and the location across from Mill Creek Towncenter is great.

My mother has moved into Cogir of Mill Creek Senior Living. It's hard to say much because there's a lockdown, so we can't see what's going on. They might be a little short staffed. We have not visited since we moved her in. We just moved her stuff in there. There's not particularly any communication with the staff unless I call them. There's not much right now because everybody's kind of locked down. They just started to have meals now in the dining room. They have to take people shopping eventually. Her door knob isn't working right. It's worn, and when you try to close it without turning the knob, it won't close and latch. They know that and it's been a couple of months and nothing has been done about it. She needs some grab handles to get in and out of the shower and they know about that as well. They said they put a work order in, and it has been two months and still nothing has happened. My mom thinks the staff members are nice, but I don't know any of them personally. If it's 80 degrees out, it's 80 degrees in her room, and if it's 90 degrees, it's 90 degrees in her room. I would say the value for the money is average.

It seemed like a very nice place, but it was too expensive. I looked at both independent and assisted living, they're apartments seem fine. They have activities like a pool, workout room, a movie studio, and a hair salon. There were plenty of things to do. The staff seemed fine and very caring. Their pricing is higher than the surrounding communities but they offer the same amenities.

My mother likes it. It seems like a really nice place and it's nicely laid out. It's three levels and I like that it's more spread out. It makes my mom have to walk from her room. The people are helpful. Any kind of forms I needed filled out, they got them filled out immediately. They always have the fireplaces going, so it's warm. They have plenty of food. I haven't heard that she complained about anything. They had a sing-along yesterday, they have people that do exercises, they play pinochle, and they go to museums. There's quite a bit of activity. I'm happy with the place.

It has been great. My mom said the food is OK. I’ve eaten there a couple of times, and it is not like a five-star restaurant, but it is pretty good. The dining area is more like a restaurant open all day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and you just go in and order. They have specials, but if you don’t like what they’re having, they will make you a hamburger or a sandwich. They always have a fruit bar at breakfast and salad bar at lunch and a private dining room that you can reserve. We had a dinner party there for my dad’s birthday. There is a lot of flexibility. The common areas remind me of being in a hotel's lovely living room area. They have a media room that they use for church service or you can reserve it for a party. It feels homey but it is not small. It is bigger but doesn’t feel sterile at all to me. It has been great. Everybody has been super nice taking care of my mom and looking out for her because she has to be there for six weeks without my dad and her children. They watch out for her. She can have all her meals brought to her in her room, and they’re more than happy to do that. It is really nice.

It was good. I was not too impressed with the food. It is a bigger place. It is a good place for someone who is more sociable. The rooms were nice, and of big size. They have a pool. Everything is nice at this facility. The staff who assisted me was nice. The residents look very happy. It was not a depressing place. It was very clean, and did not have a smell.

As far as the personnel was concerned, we heard it was quite good, but we decided we're not ready to move into that kind of living. They were in the midst of doing things, so it wasn't the best at the moment, but it looked like the rooms would be alright. It looked like they had good facilities. Apparently, they had quite a few things going on as far as games and stuff, and they take people to things at times, so they are able to go around that way. They seemed to have a lot of activities going on. I liked the location, in a sense because it will put us a little closer to our daughter's place, and the layout was pretty good for the overall facility.

It looked like they had lots of things to do. They had an exercise room, an indoor swimming pool, a library, and a game room.
