My father was in Arleigh Burke Pavilion for rehab. The community was very nice, and the care that my father received was very good. The staff was attentive, it's a nice place and very clean. It's a good community and I personally have no complaints. There were some lapses in communication and stuff, but that's to be expected sometimes. There were some times when my sister didn't get any information she needed. The coordination between doctor's offices and financials could have been communicated better, but we're unsure if it's solely because of Arleigh Burke Pavilion or the doctor's office or a combination. Overall, it's a very nice community and they seemed competent. Dad had a very nice room, it was very functional and very pleasant compared to other places. It was non-sterile compared to some other communities I have visited which were like hospital rooms, his was a little more comfortable appearing and more home-like.

I moved to Arleigh Burke Pavilion. It is a top of the line place. They have exercise five days a week and a gym. They have a doctor in-house, although my daughter takes me to my doctor. The staff's performance is above average.

Arleigh Burke Pavilion was a very nice and very nicely run place. It was more focused on assisted living rather than the skilled nursing I was looking for. The grounds and location were very nice. The rooms were an average size. There was some musical activity going on while I was there. I think it's a great place to get into for assisted living and then later on for continuous care.

Arleigh Burke Pavilion was a huge place. I think my father, who is a retired naval officer and many of residents there were former military, would have enjoyed the residents because they were very much like him. It was wonderful in every way, except that it was way too far away for me because of the traffic in this part of the country. It was also very expensive, in a way. You couldn't go month to month; you had to buy in with a large fee upfront, so it really didn't turn out to be the best option for my father financially or distance. I wasn't going to move him from his home to put him in a place that was too far away for me to see him. It is a comprehensive facility, so every kind of room you could imagine from high-end skilled nursing and hospice on site, all the way to independent living, and everything in-between. It was very nice. Everything from full gym, physical therapy, activities, tours, and dinner out, dinner in, shows, movies, arts and crafts -- whatever you needed was available there. Again, for me, it was just a matter of distance.
