My parents moved into a 2 bedroom independent apartment at Our Lady of Peace in 2018, Mom transferring to a 1 bedroom following Dad’s passing. The lovely facility, grounds and apartments are home-like, efficiently designed and well-maintained. Importantly for us, residents starting in independent living can transition in place to 4 levels of assisted care until full nursing or memory care is needed. We have the highest regard for both management and the exceptionally caring staff at all levels of service. They consistently go above and beyond in safety protocols, in resident engagement, and with family communication. Mom tells me every day how blessed she feels to have landed there. Her children agree!

My mom will be moving into Our Lady of Peace. Everybody was very helpful. We checked their menu, but we did not eat there. It seemed like a good variety with fresh fruits and vegetables. There are different menus that you can pick from instead of just having one thing. The place was not too big, which I liked. It was easy to get around. Their rooms are clearly marked. They had stairs and elevators, which is good. There also was a nice outdoor area. We happened to be sitting outside and started talking to several residents. A big part of it was their impressions of the facility. The place did not set it up. It just happened because we were sitting, and people joined us and started talking. The fact that people were doing that is a big positive.

We have found Our Lady of Peace to be an exemplary place for Independent, Assisted and Dementia Care. We have a family member in each area and love the care they get. I am somewhat baffled by the "bad" food comments as we find the food to be EXCELLENT and freshly prepared by a Chef nightly... I recommend OLOP highly for their care of others, competitive pricing for the services provided and for the progressive care setup of the facility. The folks truly care about everyone there on a personal level.

We have already placed our parents at Our Lady of Peace. The advantage is that it has assisted living, nursing care, and memory care, so there are different ways that they can move. The staff seems to be responsive.

Our Lady of Peace is not as luxurious or as nice as another facility I saw. Dad is in the assisted living while Mom is in the skilled nursing. Dad complains about the food all of the time. Dad likes the activities director and does quite a few activities.

The facility where my friend is right now is Our Lady of Peace. She just recently moved recently from a different facility where she was not happy. So far it seems to be fine. The rooms are really great. The meals are great. They even have a nice fresh salad bar every evening. I've looked at their chart, and they have a number of things going as well as bingo, cards, and exercise. They have a regular movie theater and even have a built-in library. It was just a lot of numerous things. They even have a therapist on their staff. They don't come in from the outside like many other nursing homes.

My mother had stayed at Our Lady of Peace and it was okay. However, there was a lot people that had lived-up all their assets and had lived on fix income that were there and I thought what they charged my mother actually helped pay for the other people. The food was terrible and that was the biggest problem. However, the thing that was good was that they had a graduation of living where you could live independently, assisted living and they had Alzheimer's wing and that was where my father was. So my mother could live in the apartment and then just go down the hall, down the elevator and go see him while he was there. There were some wonderful people and there was always going to be some people that really shouldn't be there. They had a craft room, bingo and they had a lot of things to do there and my mother enjoyed being involved in the church there.

I would highly recommend this facility. My mother has improved mentally and physically here. The staff is very caring and professional. The activities are interesting. It is a beautiful environment and very convenient to shopping ,hospitals, the senior center, etc.
