Dad moved to Anthology of Charlottesville and it's been a good experience. It's only been 4 days since he's there, but the nurses put a lot of care into it. The facility is very clean and very modern. He's only had two meals so far, but he said it's good. There's a good amount of activities that he could do, too.

I toured Anthology of Charlottesville. The apartment's pretty small. They serve two meals a day. They have lounges. It's a sort of typical higher-end retirement place. They have a courtyard and common spaces. They have a cafe-type and a bar-type area, which I think you can use if you want to have a get-together. They have an activity room. They had a saltwater heated pool and a movie theater room. They have a fair number of amenities.

I had a very nice experience touring the Anthology of Charlottesville. I was very impressed with the place. Right now, my only concern about it in my particular situation is the expense. Somebody says it's a rather top-notch place and it had pretty much everything I was looking for, but I will consider it more seriously if the expense is a little more reasonable for my situation. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The dining area was very nice. Their dining situation is unlike the others that I've seen. You get fed at any time of the day which is unusual as the other places seem to have a set time for whatever meals are served. The place is very nice, clean, and well-appointed.

Anthology of Charlottesville was the one we liked the most out of all the places we toured for my dad. It felt open, airy, clean, and fresh. The staff who assisted us was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was located near a Target store.

I did a tour of Anthology of Charlottesville. The amenities were amazing, and the decor was above and beyond. I liked everything about it. The staff were nice; they did well at listening and understanding why I was there. They were great. They have a nightly happy hour, and a breakfast bar, like the cafe where they can come and get whatever they like. One of the main amenities that would interest me was the housekeeping once a week, because I feel like my godmother needs that. Their staff were very knowledgeable. I didn't have a meal there, but the menu looked great.

Anthology of Charlottesville is a relatively new location. It was constructed only a year ago, so it is in pristine shape. It has more variety in terms of the room selection. They have two-bedrooms, one-bedrooms, and/or studios. There is quite a bit more variety in terms of what options you have. The facility itself is in great shape. It is not conveniently located in town, but it is certainly a very nicely appointed facility. The staff was very knowledgeable, very personable, and was able to answer all my questions. She gave me a complete tour of the facility. I didn't have the food, but I got a chance to look at all the meeting rooms, the amenities, and the pool. She was very, very helpful in that regard.

We're working on moving our mom to the Anthology of Charlottesville because it checks all the boxes. I thought that the staff there were very friendly and helpful. The individual apartment's layout was fine and the size was adequate. They had a pianist and singer, and by the time my tour was over, about 20 residents were watching them. It looked like they were enjoying themselves and it was good to see that. They showed me the dining area, and one of the things we particularly liked was that they separate the assisted care dining room from the regular dining room. My mother will eat foods she's not supposed to eat because she's diabetic, and they'll make sure that that doesn't happen by separating the diners.

Anthology of Charlottesville is beautiful and brand new. They are still in the process of filling it up, but it seemed to have quite a few folks there. The lady we talked to was very helpful, took us on tour, and told us about all the activities that they had there. We saw a studio apartment and a one-bedroom apartment. We were even allowed to have lunch while we were there, and it was delicious. The staff members seemed to be quite nice. Everybody was very pleasant and helpful. You had to wear a mask because they were still concerned about COVID. They seem to have a little bit of everything. It was a very busy activity schedule from what they had. They had a pool, occupational and physical therapy, transportation to appointments, and a 24-hour staff. You get two meals a day. They do laundry maintenance. They take care of their folks pretty well.

My mother moved into Anthology of Charlottesville. She's doing great. It has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff is incredible. The facility, which is brand new, is beautiful. I could not have asked to find a better place for my mother's transition out of Florida into Virginia. It's been fabulous. It's a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for somebody who needs additional care (or not). There's independent living, assisted living, and memory care there. The food is delicious, there's large variety, and they will custom change anything that's on the menu. They serve from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., anything you want, at any time you want it, between those 12 hours. If you go in at 6:00 and you decide you want breakfast at 6:00 at night, you can have it. The food is first rate. The chef is amazing. Everything is fresh and it's healthy. There's a really big variety in their menu. The day after she moved in, they had a get together of all the new residents where they served some hors d'oeuvres and cocktails and had a live piano bar. They have an indoor swimming pool, therapy if you need physical therapy, and a game room, which my mother likes. They have a library and a beauty parlor. It is a fabulous place. They are extremely competitive with everything else around Charlottesville. I gave them a deposit the day that I saw it.
