My mother is in Rosewood Assisted Care, and it's been a good experience for her. It's a nice small building, so there are not too many people. The staff has been wonderful. The accommodations are very good, and I think it's a great facility. They have two apartment sizes. There's probably 90 percent of rooms of the smaller size and 10 percent of the larger size. They have a barber or beauty salon there. Each room has a half refrigerator, a microwave, and a private bathroom (many facilities we looked at did not have private bathrooms). They have a dining room where their food is prepared for them. Their laundry is done for them, and they have a library. They had a nurse with COVID, and so they shut it down for two weeks and did daily testing. Several residents still wear masks, but it's not required. I don't believe the staff all use masks.

The rooms are small, a bed and a chair is all that can fit. Staff is very sparse only one care aid per shift. None are certified CNA's. They don't have an activity director, the patients are bored. The place is on the dirty side, stains on all carpets. Management is sweet but strange.Patients seemed lonely and not well taken care of. Not impressed at all.

We've chosen Rosewood Assisted Care for my mother. It's new, it's clean, neat, and it's very intimate. My mother liked it immediately upon seeing it, she likes that it's a small and intimate environment. She's had some issues with the food, mostly because of her ill-fitting teeth. They're pretty understaffed, and although they're doing an excellent job, everybody has to do a lot of everything. The dining area is intimate, it's small and clean, with tablecloths, and the food is served well. They don't really have much of a recreational area, it's just kind of a living area with a fireplace. Occasionally, they get together to watch a movie, and they have an activities director who tries to round them up occasionally. My last trip in we had a wonderful lunch there; it was very good and tasty. However, the lunch the day before wasn't really tasty, but palatable, so it's kind of hit and miss. There's only one cook in the kitchen, so it's very hard to please everybody equally every day.

Rosewood, is a fantastic choice when considering a place for your loved one to live. Rosewood maintains a clean, safe and pleasant environment centered on a culture of quality care and reliable team members. The residents at Rosewood enjoy fun and engaging group activities, outings and home style cooked meals. Rosewood believes in the continuity of care giving their staff the opportunity to develope meaningful relationships with their residents which improves health and daily outcomes. I would encourage all to come and see Rosewood for yourselves, I am confident you will be pleased with all they have to offer.

Our 90 year old mother spent her final year here after loosing our dad. She had fallen and was in need of supervision and medical care we couldn't give her at home. They took excellent care of her and gave her an environment with others in her same condition. Mom wanted family members there as much as possible and the staff always made us feel welcome, allowed us to have meals with her and even join in the activities. We felt very fortunate to have found Rosewood. Price was very reasonable and she was able to get everything she needed. Could not speak more highly of this property.

Rosewood Assisted Care had equally competitive services compared to other places. It looked very nicely run, and I was quite impressed with it. My friend can have an electric chair there. It looked like they had good meals and added things the residents liked to eat into the menu. They had a car or van to help people get to their doctors' appointments.

We loved Rosewood. The only thing is they went and sent their nurse out to visit my sister. After we paid money and everything, they called us back and said that she wouldn’t fit into their community which made me really sad because it’s a brand new place. It is non-profit, so it would have fitted within her budget. The rooms were nice. Some of them had kitchenette, and they felt like mini-apartment rather than just a room, so we like that. The great room was lovely decorated. Their dining area is like a restaurant. You can also order off a menu. They had tablecloth, flowers and vases on the table. They had 2 or 3 entrees that the residents could choose from in a day. There was also a lovely formal room that the residents could reserve for parties if they wanted to host a party, which was really neat because that would have given my sister an opportunity to still feel like she was part of the family by at least having a party there and us going to her. It was a nice facility, but they refunded us our money and told us that she wouldn’t be a good fit for their community.

Rosewood Assisted Care was very nice, pretty new, and small, which is what we were looking for. The manager was nice and very willing to help us. He was very good at showing us around to different kinds of rooms. He was very helpful.
