My mom is currently at the Legacy Village of Sugar House. She chose it mainly because it's the closest one to her home. She felt like her friends might come and visit her if she was there. My experience with the staff was they very friendly and welcoming as I moved her in and got her settled, and they've been responsive and have been communicating with us since. Her physical therapist told us we chose the wrong room for her, because she can't wheel in under the sinks of the bathroom and the kitchen. Maybe it was our fault for not asking for that even though we had said she was gonna be in a wheelchair, but her room is nice and comfortable. They provide transportation to the doctor and onsite church services, which was something important to her as well. She also enjoys their onsite beauty shop. She says the food is very good. One day she said, if she does get to move back home, she will miss it. I know she's looking forward to when the dining reopens as well, since they're serving the food in their rooms right now because of COVID. She was on quarantine when I went there, but as far as the calendar, it looks like they provide a lot of stimulation and different things. It's quite a bit more expensive than the other ones, but they're definitely one of the nicest facilities we looked at.

I visited the Legacy Village of Sugar House. That's fantastic. That is one beautiful place. I would love to live in a community like that. They have a patio. They have two different dining rooms. They have a barber shop, a beauty shop, and all kinds of libraries. They have a theater where you can go to the movies. They take you shopping once a week and they take you to your medical appointment. They have underground parking. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. I like that when I ask a question they know the answer. The place is gorgeous and clean.

I toured Legacy Village of Sugar House and it was very disappointing. The common facility was very nice - the dining area and the lobby. Everything was really beautiful, but the apartments were not very impressive. The color was depressing. The bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom. It didn't match anything else in the building. The layout of the building was nice. The only thing I didn't like about that was the parking where the independent residents parked their cars. It was not secured because it was a public parking lot. The entrance was secured into the building, but not the parking area. The salesperson who took me around was nice, but she's a sales person, so she will tell me what I want to hear.

I toured Legacy Village of Sugarhouse. The building has around 10 floors and 5 of the floors are their facility. The views that they have were phenomenal. I didn't see a lot of amenities. The 1-bedroom apartment was on the small side, but large enough for a queen size bed, a dresser, and a nightstand. It has a huge bathroom with a walk-in shower. There's also an adequate size living room with a galley kitchen on one side that has a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave. The staff who gave us the tour was very good. They have great indoor parking. The building was located right across all kinds of little shops and franchise restaurants.

Legacy Village of Sugar House is very clean. They offer a lot of amenities. The one-bedroom is very, very spacious, nice, and very clean. No marks on the walls. The carpets have been cleaned. There are awesome views and happier people. The staff were very friendly and eager to assist. It's almost brand new. It's like a skyrise apartment kind of place. It's really neat. They have a good-sized gym and a beauty shop with three different chairs to get your hair done. They offer everything.

Legacy Village of Sugar House was absolutely beautiful. It's actually new (only four or five years old). We didn't choose this one because if you go from the bedroom to the bathroom, instead of going straight through from a hallway, you have to come out two feet and down four feet and up two feet. So it wasn't convenient for my sister, but it had full kitchens, a beautiful dining room, and beautiful views. It's right in downtown Salt Lake City, so you feel like you're in a bustling community. The person who gave me a tour was a young boy and he couldn't answer all of the questions. They have ten floors. The first four floors are the parking garage. The fifth floor is the main hall dining room. The sixth and seventh floors are assisted living, and eighth, ninth and tenth are independent living (which was what we saw). They have lots of places for games and activities. You can go to lectures or hear piano recitals.

This is a visually beautiful facility with very nice/friendly staff, but be aware that if you or your family member has mobility limitations or heavy care needs- this may not be the most appropriate place. They are understaffed like many facilities in the valley and are not capable of consistently handling any level of care needs that exceed minimal care. They will rate residents needs accurately but then are not equipped with the staff to fulfill that level of care need. (and be aware that you will still pay that assessed level of care fee without consistently receiving the care).

I would recommend Legacy Village of Sugar House. I was able to visit their assisted living. They're very friendly. It's also a beautiful location, with lots of activities. It's a bigger facility, very pretty, and modern.

When we went to Legacy Village of Sugar House, they weren't expecting us. We had an appointment at noon, and nobody knew what to do for the first few minutes. We went through about three people until we finally found someone who took us on a tour. It wasn't a good first impression. The parking was ridiculous, too. It was just a typical place that everybody has now. They have transportation to and from doctors appointments and three meals a day for the residents. I was turned off by them because they were way too expensive for what they were, but the person we met was very nice, and the facility itself was very nice and beautiful. It's just it was a high-rise with seven floors in it, which I don't like personally.

The proximity to Legacy Village of Sugar House was one of the biggest reasons why we chose it; it's very close to my home. It's right off the freeway; the freeway access makes it very convenient as well. It's new, and it's a nice place. The staff is very friendly; they are great people. The rooms are very nice. They're not large but a little bit on the small side, but it's sufficient for my dad. The dining area looked very nice as well. They have music, television, and crafts; they have all kinds of activities. They have the same things that most places have, like the option of going on outings. I've found that those were pretty comparable everywhere. They said that they have activities every hour and a half.

Legacy Village of Sugar House was beautiful, but I just didn't feel comfortable during the tour. They made me wait a long time to get somebody even though I had an appointment, and they weren't as pleasant or as friendly as the others. Their room was small. It's a new facility, so everything looked like it was well taken care of. They just weren't as open, and I felt like I was getting an institutional tour; it did not feel homey. They didn't give me a chance to meet more staff, either, but the facility is pretty and new.

I have moved into Legacy Village of Sugar House. They're excellent. The other day, I had all these empty boxes from moving in, and one of the nurses came in, and she goes, 'Oh, look at all these boxes, we'll take care of those.' She took them all out and had them hauled away. They're just really good. They check on me all the time. Food is really good. I noticed that the spinach is fresh steamed and the peas are not canned, they're like fresh frozen. I like the food. It's not exotic, but it's good healthy food. The facility is clean as far as I can tell. I haven't participated in any activities except for the vaccination. It's well organized and very thought-out. I'm going to try to do the exercise program this morning at 10 a.m. I think I paid $4000 a month, so I would say it's comparable for what I get.

Legacy Village of Sugar House is very large. You use the elevator to go to your room and to get down to the dining area. It is too big for someone who has mobility problems (like my husband). He uses a walker but he can't walk far at all, so it is not good for him. The staff member who assisted us with the tour was very pleasant and very informative. The room was pleasant too. There seemed to be a lot of things going on. It is like a fancy hotel when you walk in, which may appeal to some people a great deal.

My mother likes the Legacy Village of Sugar House quite a lot. Its larger than what I was looking for, but its working out. It's beautiful and brand new. There's been no problem accessing aides or anything that my mom needs. They've been very good and she likes all of her aides. The food is the best of any of the places I've eaten at. My mom is in the assisted living part. Every Friday, they have a wine and cheese open area with hors d'oeuvres and you can have wine if you wanted, and also non-alcoholic drinks. They have a big meeting room where they do seated exercises. They also have people coming in to play instruments and putting in performances for them. They have a lovely theater with lounge-type seats and a theater-style screen. It has Netflix and you can ask for anything that's on there, but they regularly show three movies a day that are posted. You're welcome to bring family and friends with you to watch those movies. They have at least three different seating areas with fireplaces, a library, exercise room, and beauty shop. There's a regular medical center next door, and doctors come over three days a week and will see patients inside of Legacy, so it's very convenient. It's also located in a shopping area so there's tons of shopping and restaurants.

I have moved to Legacy Village of Sugar House and I'm very satisfied and pleased with the services and the way it's operating. It's working very well for me. We have bingo, fitness classes, all-day puzzle, movies, wine and cheese socials, dinner, lunch, and all other things. The place is very well-run and well-organized.

I've been living at Legacy Village of Sugar House for a couple of years now. It's very expensive; that's why I'm looking for something a little cheaper. Everything is good. It's 10 stories high, and the people are doing a very good job. Everything is clean and works on time. The price is about twice as much as other communities. The amenities are very good.

Our experience with Legacy Village of Sugar House has been very good. The rooms have lots of variety from studio to two-bedroom and many choices to select from. They've got excellent amenities and excellent activities, lots of choices, lots of input. They have a resident counsel that gives input. It's a good value. My father is in assisted living, but it has independent living and memory care as well. The staff is very good, very friendly and outgoing. They've got a great wellness center, great reading room, and very good community spaces. My brother said the food was pretty good.

Legacy Village of Sugar House had an amazing gym. It's a beautiful facility that reminded me of living in a hotel. It wasn't wide and flat like most of them are. It was more vertical and had great views of the city and mountains. They had a really nice common space and a movie room. Their rooms had shared balconies. They had an activities calendar and you can also go on foot to do some local shopping like to the grocery store, which made it convenient.
