I am in my 18th year at Niitsuma Living Center. I find it a friendly atmosphere, a helpful atmosphere. I was overweight 366 lbs and I am now 216 lbs. The food is home cooked and delicious. The staff is very helpful with my needs. I find it a pleasant place to live.

This is a small, cozy facility with a friendly staff. the facility itself is clean but a little rundown, obviously from an older house that hasn't been updated recently. The staff is extremely friendly and happy. They love their jobs and you can tell. Unfortunately, this facility fronts a major street which can be, and often is, rather noisy, especially at night when the residents are trying to rest. A resident I knew who once lived here"”and since moved on because of the noise"”couldn't stand the noise. She complained that she always heard sirens late at night. Or dogs barking. Or people arguing. She once even witnessed a car crash right in front of the facility. She doesn't have the patience for or disposition to deal with that kind of noise and left, but then she did grow up in the country so she's not used to city sounds. Many might not find it so disturbing.
