I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

First off, the nurses there are awesome. Being as severely understaffed as they are, the nurses try their best to care for everyone there. However, they are only human. My husband was there for several months. During which time, he was frequently left sitting in his own mess for sometimes hours. I had frequently asked to speak with the doctor, which they required I use their staff PCP doctor. I never once received a call, email, text or any other type of contact from this person. I couldn't even say if it was a male or female. I had multiple issues that I needed to discuss with my husband's PCP, but I felt very unimportant because my requests were repeatedly ignored. He/she couldn't even be bothered to show up for the care meeting. My husband felt very neglected there, so we just move on. I recommend you do the same until they get their nursing shortage under control. I would also suggest trying to circumvent using their chosen doctor. I gave 2 stars because of the nurses that did everything they could to provide the best care they could under the circumstances. Otherwise, it would've been only 1.
