My wife and I live at Morada Temple. The food is a disaster here. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. We have two bedrooms and two baths, and a huge private backyard. We have a parking spot. We're a half a block to fast food and other things are real close, so all that's good. The weather has been like 100 for 90 days or something. I don't like the heat here. We're from Montana. The cost here is OK. It's around $5,000 for the two of us. We have an exercise area and a swimming pool. There's a doctor. We have a mailbox and mail is delivered right there. We have everything here except movies, but we have TVs. TV is not provided, it comes extra. They come in every Monday and clean and change the sheets and beds and towels. They'll take you to church and to the store. Everything is right here. The staff is intermittent because they have quite a few people coming and going. Every day you see somebody new. They have a very high turnover rate in the kitchen.

Morada Temple was nice. I looked at both the cottages and I looked at the main building there. It appears that the cottages are more for people who are more independent, and if you're not, you go inside. They have the dining area and all that. It looked nice. What I was interested in was the cottages and they're nice and very spacious. It actually had one bedroom and a den and it looked like another bedroom. I need a bedroom for a computer and exercise equipment and that kind of thing. If you were using a chair or a walker or something like that, there's plenty of room to get around in there. The staff was very friendly and nice. They've called me back since then, I missed the call, just to see how things were going, but I haven't called them back. The lady that was in charge there was temporary. There was somebody else coming in. I met the guy who did the transportation and all of that.

I will be moving to Morada Temple's independent living. I liked the place because it was bright and clean, and looked happy and spacious. I went to see it with my daughter-in-law, and we had lunch there. I was very pleased about the menu and that there is an a la carte menu where we could choose a meal. The people were incredibly friendly. We sat with two of the residents and had a great conversation. I think I could give them a few tips about the food, but overall, it was okay. Everybody seemed to be pleasant, and it was a very active place. There was a positive atmosphere there, and it didn't feel negative. It was busy, and people were coming and going, so it just had a positive energy to it. The facility seemed very adequate for everybody's needs. They have something for everyone. It met my expectations. It exceeded them. I didn't expect it to be that positive.

We toured Morada Temple. I liked it because it had everything. It had everything in one facility. It was clean. The rooms were well-kept. It had a lot of activities for the senior citizens. My mom would have never been bored because she would have been able to do all kinds of activities. The admission people gave the tour. They did a fantastic job. They covered everything. They showed everything.

Do not sign a lease, or move in her. They will squeeze every penny they can and will make you pay entire lease if you leave even with 30 days notice.

Morada Temple was a beautiful location. Mom loved it. It had different parts where you can be in a cottage, and be on your own, or you can go within the facility, and you have access to the little restaurant that they have inside the building. They can deliver food to you. They have a care nurse that attends to you. It was beautiful. It was perfect. They had many amenities. They had a bus that would take them shopping. They went to different community events. They had a salon, a nurse practitioner that would check in, a movie place, and a library. It was full to capacity of what Mom could have used. The person who came and met with us was very interactive. He had great energy and explained everything in detail. It was very nice. It was very clean.

I toured Morada Temple. My tour was excellent. It was good. It's all-inclusive, and I was looking for something a little bit more independent. They have a lot of nice services. They showed me a two-bedroom, but it was a little bit smaller. And you have to go to the dining room to eat. They have placed right there onsite. They have a beauty salon and an activity center. They do other activities in the dining room. There's a lounge area with a fireplace. It's nice, but it's just I'm not ready to have them cook for me right now. The staff who took me around was very knowledgeable, very friendly and welcoming.

My mother in law loves her apartment, staff, and shuttle service. She is very unhappy with the quality and preparation of the meals. The food is very greasy and makes her ill. This is sad because the facility is clean, caring, and offers great activities. She has complained about the food, and so have many of the other residents. This should be addressed.

Mom lives in Morada Temple. We chose that place for her because all of the residents are extremely happy. They're pleasant and the staff is incredible and patient. They take the time to sit down and explain everything to you, making sure they understand the needs of your parents and that they can meet those needs. If they don't, they tell you, but they help you find it. They're wonderful. The facility is a little older, but everything's very clean, very tidy, and the apartment is great. There's lots of light. All of Mom's meals are made for her, so she goes to the dining room. She's also been taking part in activities, and before this, my mom would just stay in her room at her house. So, she's a lot more social now. She says the food has a lot to be desired, but it's edible. They have transportation. You just have to let them know 24 hours in advance and they'll take you and pick you up. Everything's included, like electricity and all of that, except for the Internet. You have to pay your own. This makes it so simple because mom is on a limited budget. They have crafts, card games, a pool where they do some aqua aerobics (if the residents want to), exercise classes, and a workout room. You name it, they pretty much have it. Everyone I have met, hands down, is wonderful. They are all about the residents. It's a great value for the money.

We will be moving into Morada Temple. They have a geriatrics clinic for seniors with a doctor that comes two days a week. And then they have a nurse and sometimes a nurse practitioner that are there Monday and Wednesday from 8 to 12. They serve three meals a day, which is good eating. They come in every week and change your bed linen. They wash the sheets and remake the bed for you. And then every two weeks, they come in and vacuum the carpet. We have two bedrooms with carpet, and that's all included in the price, so there are a lot of pluses, not just getting the rooms, which are nice apartments. Most of the apartments have balconies that you can go out on and sit on. They have a refrigerator with a top freezer and an icemaker, a full-sized electric stove with a big oven, a dishwasher, a garbage disposal, and a tremendously large closet for storing food and supplies. The staff was very efficient and patient. She was not trying to push something but allowed me to make my own choice and was happy to work with me. After discussing it with my wife, I called her and told her what I wanted. She said, "Well, I can meet you tomorrow morning or tomorrow afternoon, and we can take care of that,", which was a very friendly, non-pressure type of relationship. They've got a courtyard in between. They also have a nursing home and physical therapy. If, for one reason or another, a person is unable to stay in their room for some time, they have this other facility where they can go and be nursed back to better health. It's a good and very friendly community of people who live there.

My mom will be moving to Morada Temple because it had everything she needed and a few extras too. The staff that I met there were always very courteous and helpful, and they weren't pushy. I've tried the food, it's institutional, but they did a really good job. They even have a clinic on the premises and that's amazing. They have a salon, they do church services there, there's a lot of activities that people are involved in independently like bridge, putting together puzzles, and a lot of different things.

I visited Morada Temple. Everyone seemed very friendly, including the staff and other people living there. The place was very clean, and it had a lot to offer. They offered a meal, but my father didn't want to go. The staff was great. They showed us where the exercise room was and where they have meetings and bible study. They had different games and things like that. They offered shuttles for them to go get groceries and take them to the doctors. It seemed like a really nice place. My father would have fit in well.

It was really nice. The staff was friendly. I made an appointment. When we got there, they had a sign up welcoming us there for the tour. They showed us around and showed us some cottages that we really liked. For dining, you had to eat at a certain time. The residents looked very content and very happy.

They are treated more with a little more respect here. They have their own apartments, and they have a lot of activities to do. They have an exceptional dining area where they are able to get something to eat at any time that they want. The food that they are serving looks very healthy, and the people looked like they enjoy the food. I actually heard one resident say that she loves it. Most of the people seemed very happy. It is very secured, and the staff is professional and friendly. They have a dedicated activities director, so they are going to have activities that they can do that are going to be fun for them. The rooms are very nice, and they are like apartment size. They are really the best in Temple that I know of, but they are just expensive.

My brother moved here, and he loves it. He is very happy there. The main thing that he likes there was that it has a swimming pool. That was the deciding factor, actually. I am very impressed with the staff. They are very professional, very friendly, and very informative as to what was available and what they would do for him. I would recommend Meridian to anyone. The rooms are great. His room is more than adequate. It was very fresh, and it was freshly painted. The meals are provided, and they are good meals. Meridian is a very rich-looking facility. Everything is upscale. They have all the amenities my brother could need. They take him to doctor's appointments, etc., and they are running the errands he needs to run. My brother has gone on a trip with them already, and he had a great time. They are people-oriented, and they made his life much better. So we are pleased with this place.

I took an elderly aunt here to visit. The types of accommodations they have were wonderful. Because they had small apartments for people that needed daily care and they had cottages that were separate if you could have more independent living, which I thought was just excellent. They also have a very fine program as far as getting groups together and taking them on shopping trips and travel trips. But my aunt died before we got to move her in there. We only had like a 3-hour visit just to tour the facility. The staff was very polite and very gentile. The rooms were very attractive, spacious, and full of light. We had lunch there, food was excellent. I like the facility's floor plans and the ground plans. They have little golf carts for people who couldn't get around to go between the spa, the pool, and tennis court. I just really like it. It's like a miniature old fashioned town the way they had it set-up. I would absolutely recommend them.
