My mother resided at Trans’ Senior Oasis for 4 years before she passed peacefully. I can’t say enough about TSO and the care and love provided to my mother as well as to me as her primary contact. I had relocated my mother at 3 other places prior to Trans’ in 2018. My only regret is that I didn’t choose TSO much earlier. This home was exactly that, a home. My mother received the best care at the stages she moved through while traveling the Alzheimer’s journey. Many of Dr Tran’s staff have been with her for several years. They get to know the residents and love them like family. Meals are home cooked and never rushed. Everyone gets as much time as they need to eat and have a peaceful meal time. The porch is a quiet respite place to have a visit and enjoy the nature that is the back yard. There are birds, deer and other sounds of nature to just find a peace in. All the residents at TSO survived the Covid 19 pandemic, which touched all our lives in the spring of 2020. Dr. Tran locked down her facility to visitors to keep our loved ones safe. She followed all the protocols from the state of TX CDC, and while we were all worried about our loved ones she stayed in contact and communicated with us regularly about how our loved ones were doing. She encouraged lots of phone calls during this time to our loved ones and the staff were always prompt to help with the phone calls. It was a long time for all of us at home as the pandemic drew us all to a standstill. As I waited and communicated throughout 2020 and hoped for a better 2021, we then had to contend with the “snow-pocalypse” of Feb 2021. This kept us all home and hunkered down for 5 days as we lost power, water and had unsafe road conditions. Again, Dr Tran and her staff took this all-in stride and kept our loved ones safe, warm and well on a very short staff. This all made for a hard 2020-2021 as spring begin to thaw and we started being allowed visitations, with restrictions, to the facility. This was also a hard time for residents as many couldn’t understand why family visitors had stopped coming to the house. I, for one was a grateful family member that appreciated the measures taken to keep our loved ones safe during all of this. Dr Tran didn’t lose anyone to Covid 19, or the snowstorm. My mother was given such quality care and love that we were blessed to have her until Oct. 2022. I am so pleased with the care my mother received at a very difficult time and the care she received until the very end. The staff get so close with our loved ones and I always thought of the staff as our extended family with all the time they spent with my loved one. This was exactly the right place for my mother. It took me 3 other places before I finally got the right place. I wish I had made this move much earlier in the hunt than I did, mother would have enjoyed more of the porch time. I have the highest regard for this “home”, staff, and owner. They are worth so much to a family’s peace of mind during a difficult time.

My siblings and I consider Tran’s Senior Oasis to be a godsend. When we realized that our 90-year old mom was suffering from dementia, we knew that a live-in facility was the only safe option for her; we all live far away. But we did not intend to consign Mom to a large, impersonal, uncaring institution. TSO was recommended by a friend, and we still consider it a miracle that an opening had just come available there. Mom, who was naturally very sad to leave her home and absolutely opposed the notion of staying at TSO for more than a few days, initially began to be won over by the meals. Then, she began to note that “Dr. Tran is a very smart lady”. Mom now also comments on how much she enjoys observing nature from the back porch, how nice it is to read (and nap) in the comfy nook that Dr. Tran set up for her, and now nice everyone is. Mom clearly has been made to feel cared for, secure, and a part of the TSO family in the comfortable residential setting.

I have been my mom’s primary caregiver since my dad passed away 6 years ago. Her memory began to decline and she moved in with us 4.5 years ago. Her memory and physical health worsened and by the fall of 2019, she was sleeping 20 hours per day, unable to walk or feed herself. I made the very hard decision to place her in an assisted living facility. My sister did a lot of research, we whittled the list down, and we started visiting places. We visited large, fancy, expensive facilities that looked great but could only commit to a once every 2 hour room check. We visited home settings that were run down, smelly, and had residents parked in wheelchairs. We visited a new facility that limited your access to your loved one to daytime hours. I started to think we were not going to find a place that met our requirements. My sister and her son visited Dr. Tran’s Oasis, and they were convinced that this was the right place. Dr. Tran came to my house to assess my mother’s needs and answer any questions we had. We were convinced that Dr. Tran has a true passion for taking care of the elderly. My mother was ready to leave with Dr. Tran that day! We moved my mother in late October and have had no regrets. Dr. Tran and her staff treat the residents as family. They sing, play games, exercise, laugh and hug. They have taken the time to get to know my mother, her likes and dislikes, and my mom is thriving. Under Dr. Tran’s care, she is taking less medication, is eating and drinking on her own, and is walking again. My mom is engaged with the staff and the other residents and she is much more her old self. If you had asked me 6 months ago I would have told you that no one could take better care of my mom than I, but I was wrong. Dr. Tran and her staff are the best. I can now take care of myself and my family and just be my mother’s daughter again.

Mom has resided at TSO for a little over a year. She is content, safe and clean while being treated with love and respect by the owner and caregivers of Tran’s Sr. Oasis. Mother enjoys time on the pleasant covered porch where we enjoy time listening to birds, watching the deer or listening to the rain on a tin roof. The grounds are pleasant and natural and make for a relaxing time outside. Inside the home is warm, cozy, clean and comfortable. Meals are never rushed and are wholesome and simple for all appetites. The caregivers are friendly and loving to the residents and visiting family members. I’m so happy to find a loving, caring and safe environment that my mom is treated with such respect and care. I sleep better knowing that Dr. Tran is close at hand for any needs at the house and that her staff are trained and attentive. Thank you to all at TSO for giving to our loved ones. Daughter of Betty

My family member is a resident at Tran's Senior Oasis (4 months). She is comfortable and pleased with her new home and extended family. So are we. What makes it exceptional includes the attentiveness of staff, the intimate environment, the caring attitudes, the serene country-like setting, and the "extras" they do for residents. She moved there from a local, beautifully appointed assisted living facility that just didn't measure up to the environment of care that Dr. Tran has created. She and her staff have hearts of gold, and a well-run facility.

My mother was at Tran's Senior Oasis for over a year. The team there is not only competent, but caring. They join in with the residents in group singing and physical therapy, and are also able to spot medical issues like mobility or swallowing problems, and bring in specialists who promptly recommend drug/therapy/lifestyle corrections. The residents are clean, well fed, and engaged. This is as far from the depressing industrial setting as it's possible to get. The staff treat the residents not like strangers, but like their own relatives. In my opinion, the difference is love. There is a lot of love on display at Tran's Senior Oasis.

When my Mother needed more care than she was being provided at her assisted living facility we were at a loss of where to turn. The options for 24 hour monitoring were outside of our budget constraints, luckily,a good friend's father had moved to the Oasis and gave it rave reviews. We could not be more pleased with the personal attentive care Mom received.
