My husband has been a resident at Park Manor since November 2021. The food is pretty good, like home cooked meals. My husband doesn't participate in Activities but Karen is very good at her job. His room is cleaned, bed changed. The staff is very good to him. Juanita & Wanda have been with him from the beginning & love him. Zee is very good to my husband. She watches him when he is by the Nurses desk. Frea & Ayella & Mulu are wonderful with him. There are more staff members that are wonderful to him. I wish I could name everyone, but I can't remember everyone's name. They all treat him like family. They all call him PaPa. Thank you to everyone that deals with my husband. Great Facility & Staff 💞

My mother is in a nursing home called Park Manor of McKinney. It is awful. The staff members are nice, but the rooms are awful. Today they had an Elvis impersonator singing and it was nice. The residents like that.

Loved the courtyard, it was the perfect setting to visit with my mother-in-law. The staff was always so kind and loving to my mom

My mother had advancing dementia and was in this nursing facility. Before I placed her at Park Manor I met with a social worker and other treatment staff. My mother received excellent care. The staff were knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. I highly recommend this nursing facility.

Park Manor of McKinney's care is timely. They're very much on top of making sure that my dad is getting the proper medication and assistance. They're also loving and genuine. They can improve on the cleanliness because the place is clean, but I think it can be cleaner. Overall, the food is fine. They have games, bingo, and a calendar of activities that they provide. My dad's favorite day is Sunday because they have church.

Park Manor is clean, the staff is attentive, and we placed her there one and a half weeks ago. They have daily activities, and they can leave the room to go down and eat.

If I could give this facility zero stars…I WOULD!!! I was visiting a friend and when I got there she was sitting alone in her room with the door closed. There was an overwhelming smell of urine. She was drying soiled underwear and pants on the ventilation system which she had washed out in the sink. There was spoiled/molded food in her room that had been there for weeks. Her feet were black with dirt and it was apparent she hadn't had a bath/shower in weeks. When I asked she told me she had been washing her hair in the sink and bathing herself out of the sink. None of the outlets worked in her room so she didn't have access to the TV or a working clock. The floor was sticky with who knows what. The staff was more than indifferent. When asked questions most would just stare at me and not answer. My motto is treat another person as you would want to be treated. Don't leave your loved one here!!!

I walked in at Homestead of McKinney, and I did not like what I saw. It is not in a very good location. The staff who assisted me was OK. They were friendly. However, it was an old facility, and I was not impressed with it. There was nothing special. I would not go there.

This place is horrible. My grandmother was placed here in August. Prior to come her she could get around with a walker , after a month here she was bedridden. She has fallen twice with no explanation as to why. The rooms was dirt ( we took pictures of the poop allmover the seat in the bathroom, blood on the floor in room). Once found her pillow and call button behind her he'd on the floor, she was supposed to have a pillowmunder her arm because her shoulder was frozen in place from last fall, they would not do it. She is now in hospital and the DR told us she was not going back to this place.

My father was in a hospital and when we were there, they pushed us to go to Park Manor of McKinney. They had somebody at the hospital who came out and talked to us. The lady seemed like she knew what she talked about, so they took dad there in a medical van. When we got there and saw the place, they did not have any administrator who talked to us. The people who worked there did not even know what an oxygen concentrator was. The room was too small with two twin beds. There was no closet only a wardrobe that the residents had to share. The beds were probably older than me and too short for my dad's legs. There was no room to put television even if you wanted to. It smelled of too much Clorox that it burned my lungs. My dad had emphysema and there was no way he could stay there. Everybody was just laying in bed and I had never seem anything like it. We ended up taking him home with us.

My grandmother was at this facility in early 2013. They were very good to her and called me to keep me updated on her progress. The place is very clean, and the staff was friendly. I was pretty shocked since this is a place that takes Medicaid also, and those facilities have a reputation for not being very nice inside. I did not give it 5 stars because the security is a little lax at the front and side door. But, besides that, the place was very good. My grandmother passed away (in no way related to the care she got at the facility, she was just very sick) and they were very helpful in getting me a refund and helped me carry her belongings out. I would recommend this place to anyone.

She was referred and transferred to Park Manor by her physician. The rooms were clean and well-kept. The staff were very attentive and receptive when we asked questions, very helpful too. There were also family conferences. They had a code at the entrance so the patients could not wander outside. Maybe they could do a few repairs but everything is good. Nonetheless, I would recommend to others.

I am torn 50/50 on this facility. There was 1 nurse working that was reliable, helpful and caring. She would tend to my family member and seemed genuinely concerned about his well being. We were able to ask her questions and get answers. However, the other nursing staff was not helpful at all. It seemed like they were only there to pass the time. They were not gentle or caring and there was no point in asking them anything because they would not know or would not answer.
