Plenty of research went into my selection of Spanish Meadows Nursing Home. The accommodations as well as the layout of the facility is exceptional. This facility offers an array of activities to include all residents no matter what their condition is, even karaoke, jazz bands, bingo.....and many fun things to keep residents from getting bored. I was particularly happy that my Mother let me know that she was happy there and they treated her good. The staff is awesome! They listen to requests of the family and always try hard to make them happen. I cannot say enough about the entire staff, but they all know what their doing and do whatever it takes for the health and wellness of their patients. There was no problem too big for them to handle. Importantly, the facility is neat and clean. My Mother has made her Heavenly transition and I know she is smiling as I write this review. It felt like they became a part of our own family..... we love this place and we love the staff. This is by far the best choice of nursing and rehab facilities anywhere around. I will be forever grateful for the fine care and the love we felt when my Mother was there. Thanks and Blessings to all of Spanish Meadows!!!

We choose this facility for rehab for my husband mainly because of their good Medicare review and because they are the only DECENT facility that offers peritoneal dialysis on our Medicare insurance list The nursing and physical therapy staff is outstanding. Although the rooms are a bit antiquated, it seems that the facility is being renovated. On the negative side, caution should be exercised when considering signing a contract with their dialysis provider, which we found to be less than acceptable.

My mother was in the nursing home for therapy, to get stronger and to come home. While she was there she coded twice and I ended up bringing her home earily. I feel her care was bad. When I brought her home she was in bad shape and it took the home health nurses and myself almost a week to get her breathing stabilzed. I feel if she would have stayed longer at Spanish Meadows she would have died. Since she has been home she has stabilized and improving.

Please don't select this facility for your loved ones.first of all high risk of getting infection.seen contact isloation patients giving bath in same shower room ,reusing med supplies, suction ballads hanging on wall after suction ,using out dated ventilators, feeding tubes are not changing regularly smells horrible..when i talked with some staff they told me they get 15-20 patients .no wonder they cant give proper attention to patients.

My grandmother was on of the first residents to Spanish Meadows and she lived there for 10 plus years. I was never worried about leaving, I knew she was in good hands. The staff went above and beyond taking care or her. They treated her like family and she absolutely loved everyone from housekeeping to the CNA'a all the way up the food chain. The Spanish Meadows team was always quick to respond to requests and concerns that we as a family had. When my grandmother was in the process of passing, the team stayed by our side the entire time and made sure my grandmother was so comfortable and not in any type of distress. They are truly living angels. I would recommend Spanish Meadows to anyone wanting your family member to be loved the way you love them. There are not enough stars for this wonderful, Professional, caring team.

Disappointed with facility. Staff does not respond quickly to needs of patients. Staff is not well supervised and appears to be more focused on non patient tasks. For example the staff spent days on decorating for Halloween. Food is not good. Facility smelled of urine and feces. I would not have my family member return. Staff does appear friendly, though.

Spanish Meadows Rehab Dept is outstanding and was the sole reason my mom was able to return home and complete her rehab while at home. The rehab team was very caring and more importantly very informative/thorough with treatments. I was more impressed by their knowledge than I was with the therapist at TIRR. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care.

This place is wonderful. The rehab team works hard with the patients to get their independence back. Couldn't think of a better place for a loved one needing Rehab

This facility is run unprofessionally. You do not want your loved one here. My aunt almost died on the first day here because the staff was so inexperienced and the communication between administation and staff was horrible. If it had not been for the 87 year old lady in the other side of the room calling out for help, my aunt would have died within 4 hours of being admitted to this place. Don't fall for the smoozin smiles of the administration either. They think by being nice you will not see how incompetent they are. Also keep up with your loved one possessions. Workers go through their personal belongings. This happened to my aunt - the worker did not know some one was in the room watching him filter through my aunts things. Look some where else for a facility.
