Everything is good at the Village at Gleannloch Farms. It's only been a week since my parents moved in but we are happy. They're in the assisted living and the place is very clean and welcoming. So far, the staff have also been very helpful. For activities, they offer bingo, crafts, church, exercise, and classes. They also have trips to the store and things like that. The dining area is good. We had trouble with gluten but in most places, it's difficult to accommodate a gluten-free diet. They are working with us to make it possible though.

We found the management at The Villages at Gleannloch Farms to be difficult to work with once our loved one moved into their facility. Even little things seemed to trigger a very confrontational response from them at times. Prior to committing to moving into their facility or moving a loved one into the facility, be very sure you very carefully review the content of their contract(s) and that you genuinely understand ALL the provisions within their contract(s) before signing any of them. We encountered things within their contracts that dramatically increased the cost of care and that we thought were quite unreasonable. Further, while they operate and manage the facility, they often ambiguously refer to limitations upon them by ‘corporate’ requirements without further explanation. We found their management team had poor coordination of patient care internally and became obstinate and uncooperative when even very minor issues arose. We were very displeased and disappointed by our experience with them.

Village at Gleannloch Farms was beautiful. It had parking. The grounds were gorgeous, and the entry way was lovely. It was very updated. The pool was spectacular. It was just a beautiful facility. When I first went there, they thought I was there for assisted living. The lady was lovely, but then I had to wait a while for the person to be free that was in charge of the independent living. Then we didn't have that much time to go around and look, but we did as much as we could do. The facilities for the food looked lovely. I can't really tell what the rooms look like, except that I have all the floor plans, how much it costs, and all of that. I was supposed to go back; but again, the person that originally took me was on vacation.

The Village at Gleannloch Farms was different from all the other places I toured. You have to buy in and it is very expensive. If you need more care than independent living, they move you to assisted living and they don't ever change your rent. Then if you need more care than that, they move you to memory care or the nursing home. If you're in the hospital and you can't take care of yourself for a while after you go home, they take care of you in respite care. When you die, your children get half of the money back. I have a friend that's in memory care there, and I've had other friends that have been in their nursing home, so I am familiar with it. It's a lovely area. My kids just love it. Even though it's an older facility, it's very well kept and they have several dining options that you can go to. There's sit-down dining where you order like a restaurant, a cafeteria-style if you want to do that and a less formal one. It's a very friendly place. The people seemed to be happy with it. It was just more expensive. You have to pay a large fee deposit.

I had an in-person tour of Village at Gleannloch Farms. I liked the activities. The rooms were very nice in there. The only thing I didn't like was I thought that it was pretty expensive. They take people to the theater, ball games, and to different places away from the facility, but they also have plenty of activities right there as well. What I liked also is they have a storage area for each room, so that's kind of nice, because when you get an apartment like that they usually don't have any storage, but they had a storage facility for everyone that stays there. I think they just have remodeled a lot of their rooms, and their rooms were very, very nice. There are apartments; we looked at single bedrooms and doubles. The lady was very knowledgeable that we spoke with.

I went to the Village at Gleannloch Farms. The girl who walked me around was very nice, and it was a nice facility. It was a dreary day, and that makes a difference to me; the places looked different than they would on a sunny, bright day. I saw a couple of empty units. It was not my favorite, and it was older. Not that it's a big deal, but it wouldn't have been my choice. The staff was very informative, she walked me all around, and she definitely knew her stuff. She answered all my questions, she had a packet for me, and I do remember it was quite expensive. From what they said about the care my mom would need, it was more expensive than the other places. It seemed nice and clean, and everybody was very friendly there.

My mother is in the is facility. She came from an assisted living facility that made her lay in her recliner for 5 days with two broken feet instead of allowing her to go to the hospital. For rehab, she has been in at least 5 other facilities. This one is far above the others. She went there almost dead and is now alert, as happy as she can be knowing she'll never walk again. The food is good. The facility is clean and most of the staff is caring. The weekend staff could stand to be a little more helpful and caring, but, generally, it is a good place where employees have worked for many years. That should say a lot in itself. The staff doesn't change! She sees the same people and has gotten to know them. It took a little while to get her settled, get all her meds correct and her needs met, but, we are there now and the staff was and is very responsive to all her and my questions and requests. I am very thankful to have found The Village at Gleannloch Farms!!

Do not send your love ones here. They will put your love ones in to tears. You will be sitting in your poop for 5 to 6 hours and that with light on. And people will say I will not help get up or transport you. They say I will not help you and I'm not hurting my back to do it your self When they could get another person to help you get up.They are very rude to you. And you will end up with bed sores here they dont care about you.you want your love ones to be ok . can't stress enough to say. Stay away from this place!!!!!!!!

We have a lot of friends there at The Village at Gleannloch Farms. It's very convenient and cordial. They go to eating places and trips. The people who live there all seem to be friendly and happy. The dining room is modern and quite large. We had dinner for maybe about 25 people in a small room that was adjacent to the big dining room.

I have known about The Village at Gleannloch Farms. I watched them being built from the very start. It is really one of the finest providers that I have ever seen. It was really upper class, and it was really quite nice when we visited. I like the staff there. The food and the dining rooms were excellent. They have bistro and cafeteria-style, and then they have a very formal dining room. The rooms were fine. The only thing there was that their two-bedroom apartments were extremely small. They were only 600 square feet. They were not big enough for two people.
