My Mom is a current resident of County Place. The first thing she said about the residence is "this feels like home". Her room is spacious and roomy to allow us to make a home within this home. That was my #1 goal for my Mom. I wanted her to feel like she is still in control, managing her own home. The entire staff is caring and attentive. There is plenty to do and each resident is encouraged to engage in all activities. So many activities provided, along with volunteers that come in helping the residents continue to be a part of the community by bringing the community to them. My Mom is not a "mixer". She prefers her room, her TV, etc.... the good news is she is still not alone. The friendly staff checks on her frequently, visits and engages with her to customize living there to what makes her the happiest. I recommend County Place to all my friends and family and recently was fortunate to recommend 2 friends to bring their Moms to County Place. Both of my friends mother's have since moved in and are living their best lives tailored to meet their needs as well. My family highly recommends County Place Jacksonville to your family. You will be glad and relieved you did.

We liked Country Place Senior Living of Jacksonville mainly because of the location as well as the excellent facilities. They're clean and I liked the amenities. The people were very friendly. They seemed like they would take good care of my sister. We talked to some of the residents and they said they were very satisfied with the food.

We toured Country Place Senior Living of Jacksonville. It was small and there weren't that many residents there. It's probably a little more personal. There were some ladies at the table doing crafts or something. They showed me the studios. There are not that many but they were nice. The dining area was adequate for the size. It wasn't big, but they don't need it big. They only have 20-some residents there. I saw an activity room and they have a place out back. The staff were very friendly. They personalize the menu to some degree. However, they didn't have a van for the place to take them shopping or anything.

We are planning to move my uncle to Country Place Senior Living of Jacksonville. We have given them a deposit to hold his room. We were very impressed with the facilities. They seemed to be very attentive, and they seemed to have a very good staff available. We were very happy with the walkthrough that we did there, and the facilities that we saw. They have a calendar that I saw in one of the pamphlets that they gave us. It showed different activities on different days, so they have daily activities planned for the patients. They have three different size rooms available. We got him the largest room available at that time. There's a bigger room that may be available in the future and he can go upgrade to that. They provide cable TV; it's part of your monthly fee.
