My mom moved into Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care. From what I gather, she has acclimated quite well. The interaction with the staff seems to be quite well. She has a roommate, but there is a wall that separates them for the most part, and it's big enough for a bed, her chest of drawers, and a rocking chair. It's not huge by any stretch, but it's probably 15 by ten, something like that, 150 square feet. They keep them busy with activities from sunup to sundown, more or less. I've seen pictures of them doing different things, playing the piano, singing, and arts and crafts. They have a TV room, dining room, they have an area where they can walk outside and still be within the facility. So they seem to have quite a bit of things to do.

Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care was wonderful. The biggest thing is it's private pay only and it's very expensive. The facilities are wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and were able to answer all my questions. They have someone at the front desk 24/7 and the doors are always locked so that the residents can't get out. They have someone that assists them that has to physically push the button. The facilities were beautiful.

I toured Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care. I loved the lady who did the tour, Sarah. She was very, very sweet. I love the way they treated the seniors and gave them dignity. They gave them jobs to do, and they gave them titles that matched their interests. The location was fine. It was more in town, so it didn't have the outside area that my dad would want to have for walking. The community itself was fine. They had studios and one-bedrooms. They were very small and very basic, but they were sufficient. They had really nice and very engaging staff. They had a whole schedule of activities.

I loved Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care. Someone met me there, directed me to whom I needed to speak with, and gave me a good tour. I stayed there for almost 40 minutes and they had movie time, and they extended the movies into something that they all wanted to watch and they were watching the Titanic. They get the residents out of the room every morning. So they don't stay in their rooms all day. They get them out early and they have them out even with wheelchairs or not. When they go to their room, they are ready to go to bed, and I liked that. They have a lot of stuff going on. It looks like all the residents were engaged in what was going on and they had a good rapport with the staff. So, I was very impressed. The price was worth it if you can afford it. The lady that gave the tour was awesome because since we toured out there, she's called me almost every month to check on my mom to see how she's doing and what the status is and let me know what they have available and everything like that. So she's been in constant contact with me.

Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care was more modern, but the price just simply wasn't affordable, and they didn't have a single room available. Other than that, the staff was caring and knowledgeable. They had a modern, clean, and new units.

We went to Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care. They had the same program that the other place had called the SPARK program to help the Alzheimer's patients. They did everything that the other place did. The reason we didn't like Oak Hills Terrace was because they're a lot farther from our house and they didn't have showers in their bedrooms, but everything looked nice. The staff was excellent and friendly. It just didn't work for us. I did not try their food, but their dining area was nice. They had an activity room as well.

From the moment I walked through the doors at Oak Hills Terrace Assisted Living and Memory Care for Jordan’s personal tour, I knew I had found a near perfect place for my husband. It then became my frequent prayer that he would be accepted at this wonderful facility. The property has a home-like atmosphere from the front porch to the lovely, welcoming patios. There is laughter, creative, fun and interesting activities, personal attention, and professional care shown each resident. The common areas are clean, spacious and not crowded and the resident rooms are clean and well designed. There is a noticeable welcoming atmosphere that emanates throughout the community. However, the most important aspect of Oak Hills is the employees,. Each person I have met, talked with on the phone, or have had daily contact with, show professional training and a passion and love for the work they do. No matter what my question or concern is, they are able to resolve it and handle it with ease. I can't say enough or send enough compliments to the employees at Oak Hills and their commitment of giving each resident a chance to be the best they can be at this time of their life. Since my husband can't be home with me, I truly feel he is at the very best place he could be.

I was very pleased with Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care. We like it the best. The atmosphere was just good; I liked it better than anything that we toured. The planned activities that they had for the residents were what I liked the best. What I liked the least as they were the most expensive, as far as the move-in fee. The staff that toured us were great. Everything you needed was provided, it seems like. They had planned exercises for the rest of the year. They had planned activities for the residents. They have a mini barbershop type thing where they could get their haircuts. It was just a nice place. I also like how their semi-private rooms were set up.

Oak Hills Terrace is the best community we have ever been in! We have had such a great experience there! The residents are always active, learning, and really enjoy the programs that Oak Hills provides. We learned this on our very first visit there. The staff gave us a tour and several of the residents came up to us along the way and told us how much they enjoyed living there, how good the food was, and bluntly recommended Oak Hills to our family for our loved one. No other community we visited seemed so "alive"! The care staff is welcoming, and it's a relief to know there is someone easily accessible 24/7. The Executive Director even gave us her personal number should the need arise, and told us to call anytime; day or night. Sometimes, we even just show up and participate in activities going on throughout the day. This place is tremendous! Highly recommend!

I'm very pleased with the Oak Hills Terrace facilities and staff. They allow me to eat any time I want to, without extra charge. Every Sunday my son and I eat there and we are very pleased with the quality of the food. After breakfast, they start off every morning with three or four patriotic songs and everybody sings along. Then they recite the Pledge of Allegiance, then they have the residents do exercises and stretches with everybody participating. They also do this sort of adult Montessori, with purposeful activities. I'm quite pleased with what I'm seeing. The place is very clean, there's no odor, and the price is even less than most of the senior places that I've looked at.

My mother-in-law lived in Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care for six months. The rooms were a lot smaller compared to other places. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. Their food was really good, but they had a lot of turnover of staff.

We put my dad in Oak Hills and that place is fabulous. It is small. They really care for the patients. They are not just going to a job, they have relationships with them. It is really a nice place. I will recommend them no doubt. They have gardens and it has fence, but you can see outside. You have to have a code to go in and out of the building. They have programs that come with singers and dancers. They have high school and elementary kids that come in and do things. They have bingo. I see him play dominoes. They make cupcakes and do cooking. They have church services and I know the activities director do one-on-one activities to those who don't interact and come out with the group and I think that is really important. She actually goes to their room.

I liked the staff of Sundance at Oak Hills and they seemed very loving and caring to my mom. The sanitation of the place was good. Their food always looked very good and very fresh. Yes, I would recommend this place because of the cleanliness, the food, and the caring staff.

Sundance is designed specifically to care for Alzheimers patients. One way they do this is making sure that all memebers of their staff are trained in the care of Alzheimer's patients. This is a lovely facility in a nice area and provides walking trails and other outdoor activities for its residents. The thing I liked best about this facility is the staff. They really get to know their residents and their resident's families. But, they take it one step further and try to learn family/personal history of their patients. By doing this, the staff is able to help resident's with their particular memories of events, family, places, etc. I think it makes battling the disease not only easier for the residents, but also a little easier for the families.
