Atria Copeland is very good. The service is great. The workers are considerate and kind. it's good food. It's just sometimes it's things that I don't care to eat or that my diet won't allow me to eat and we're working on that. We just got a new housekeeper and she's very good. They have an exercise class. They have games to play and outside activities if you care to go out. I get all these services that I can't do for myself anymore. They cook my food, take care of my apartment, and take me to doctors and appointments.

The room at Atria Copeland was small, but it's easy to get around. It's one story. The staff was very nice. Everybody was very attentive. They paid attention to what was being said to them. They gave me some cookies to take with me, but I did not try their food. They showed me a menu and it's restaurant style where people come to your table, and they take your order. What I did not like was the menu. The other place had chicken fried steak and gravy, and it was very good. At this place, they showed me a menu, and instead of saying, like, chicken fried steak, it was like chicken or beef ala something or another. They use words that I did not know to describe the meal. It was clean. I saw at a distance the bingo going on.

I’m a current resident living at Atria Copeland I’ve been living here almost seven months. I love my apartment, if we need help it’s always available. I enjoy the housekeeping and having the meals provided and all the social activities that allow us to meet other residents. The staff here is fantastic!

My mom has been a resident at the Atria Copeland for 5 years. When we needed her to move to a different room, they bent over backwards doing everything they could to accommodate. This staff is friendly from top down. They were patient, and went above and beyond to make sure this went off smoothly. Thank you Rebecca, Roxanne, Teresa, Sylvia and Hayley. Great team. I highly recommend this facility, their personal touch and empathetic caring makes a comfortable place for my mom.

I toured Atria Copeland. The other place I went to, I ate and I got to meet a bunch of people. At this place, I didn't eat, so there's a lot of differences. The staff was very nice. Everybody was very attentive. They paid attention to what was being said to them. They gave me some cookies to take with me, but I did not try their food. They showed me the menu. It's like restaurant style where the people come to your table from what I understand, and they take your order. They showed me a menu and instead of saying, like, chicken fried steak, it was like chicken or beef or something or another. They use words that I did not know. The facility was clean. It was easy to get around because it's one-story. My only fault with it was the room was small. I did see at a distance the bingo going on.

Everything about Atria Copeland was fantastic. I liked that they offer private cottages. They had all kinds of good stuff. They had card games and they actually would go out to restaurants and do cruises together. The residents were just very outgoing. Everybody said and asked how are you. The woman who gave the tour was also fantastic. She knew everything and everybody knew her. You could tell she was very, very involved.

Atria Copeland was very nice and the place was very well decorated. The residents seemed to be most happy to be there. The dining area was very nice. Their staff members were very cordial and very helpful, they showed us the various game rooms and TV rooms. If people want to, they can go down and watch TV in a group, and they gave us a list of activities that went on during the week. They take people out shopping on certain days of the week and they furnish meals.

I took my dad to Atria Copeland, and he liked it. The struggle was my mom. What I noticed is the people that lived there were out in the hallways mingling together. They all seemed very pleasant, and it didn't seem staged at all. You could tell it was legit, so I liked that. I saw maintenance in the hallways more than once, but not working. They just happened to be around, which I liked that, too. The ones who helped me the most are Elaine and Claire. Claire has been very helpful, very supportive, and very patient. I saw nothing unkempt, dirty, or anything. It was very well organized. I met some older ladies there that were like my mom's age. They told me that they'd been to other places in town and chose this one. They're very happy.

I took a tour of Atria Copeland for my father. They were too expensive for his income, but I really liked the facility. The staff was great. I liked the looks of it, and from what I saw, I would have put him in there. They have meals, and they have everything that he would need for assisted living.

I liked Atria Copeland. It was just very small and it's an older place. They offered one meal a day, but I did not choose it. It was my second choice. I only met two people on the staff. I saw the cottage that I would have lived in and I would give that a three. The only thing I had against their facility was that it needed to be a little larger and needed some updating.

Atria Copeland is on top of my list because they offered me the best deal for price. They were willing to give me quite a few concessions making it more affordable for me. I liked everything about it. I liked the layout, the apartment, and the location. They had studios and different layouts, and they also had one and two bedrooms. They had lots of activities and offered things that some of the others charge extra for. I liked the amenities and that it was only one floor. The staff was very good and followed up with me all the time. The food was very good. It had a courtyard.

My husband was in Atria. It was the nicest of all the placed that we looked at. They had better food and better accommodations. They had really pretty grounds built around an atrium, so there was a nice openness. The ceilings were high. The people were super nice, but there weren't enough of them to take care of somebody with my husband's level of care. He lived there for five years, and he would still be there if they had more caregivers that could take care of a bedridden person.

I really did not like Atria Copeland during my visit. The staff was nice, but the place was dark and did not smell good. Their rooms did not have a lot of natural light and seemed cramped and dark. Their activities looked good, and they had a beautiful outdoor space.

I am happy with Atria Copeland, I will go up there to sign the lease. I have already chosen it. I’ve looked at a couple of places, and it was I thought was the best. The food was excellent. Stephanie -- the marketing person -- was super. She was really good and answered all our questions.

The place at Atria was actually a detached, garden-type house, which gave us more room for our belongings. The facility was very nice. We had the options of being able to come up and eat meals in their dining area or fixing them in the home. The staff seemed nice. Everything seemed to be in very good repair.

They were very friendly and helpful at Atria Copeland. However, the residents were a little bit more sedentary. Otherwise, it was bright, sunny, and open. They were very helpful, and I really like the openness of the building.

They had cottages, but it was more like a motel to me. They also had apartments that had little backyards. It was nice except they didn't have any garage. The staff was very nice. They do a lot of one-day trips, and they come to Dallas a lot. I like Atria Copeland. It was in a park like setting, and it was very quiet.

My dad is at Atria Copeland which is in Tyler. It is an assisted living, but it is a B-facility. When we transferred him over here we had a few hiccups with them. The hiccups were with their billing. Atria Copeland and my husband's former community are associated. They are of the same company, but they have two different billing companies. When we finished up his amount due from where he was at, we just attached it to his new facility. But for whatever reason, they couldn't divide the check, and for two months, we have been battling with them over that. But other than that, they have beautiful dining rooms. They have bent over backwards to keep my dad there even though he was nursing material almost from the time he walked through the door. From the time they assisted him, he evidently deteriorated that it was questionable he can even stay there. But for two and a half months, they have bent over backwards to keep him. They had personally assisted him in the bathroom, getting him to the dining room, dressing him, and doing things that a nursing home should be doing. They are the one who put us on the path to hospice. They were the ones that let me know that it was a viable option. I would say other than the billing hiccup, they have done more to try to help us transition to the nursing home mode. The care was great, and it was wonderful. The apartments were clean when we came in, and it is well done. They have nice grounds, but they need more parking. They have a beautiful little restaurant with a chef. It has linen napkins and linen table cloths, and it is very classy.

I visited Atria Copeland a day after Christmas, and there were no Christmas decorations that I could see except for one little tree in the common area. Everybody was either in a wheelchair or using a walker, and I decided that maybe that really was not the place for me. The rooms were OK. They had carpets on the floor. The bedroom and the living room were small, but the bathroom was rather large. The closet was small as well. I only met one lady, and I think she was the manager of the place. I did not see anybody else. The laundry room was dirty, and the dryer doors were open. I did not notice any activities. They had a singer entertaining everybody who was really loud. I would not have liked that at all if I actually lived there. The dining room was alright. It just did not look very inviting. The atmosphere to me was depressing. I am sure the people there are well treated, and the staff does the best they can. The building itself could stand some improvements. I was a little bit surprised when she told me that the price of that room was $3400, and before I left she said she can probably let me have it for $2600. That did not fit too well.

Atria was very nice, but they charged for everything extra and that included cable. It was going to be a lot more expensive. It is two stories, and his room is upstairs, but there are elevators to take them there. The staff was very nice and showed us different apartments. The rooms were nice.

We had a positive impression upon visiting Atria Copeland, and that is where mom is right now. Her room was very nice; she is not happy about the move, but she has not been there two weeks yet, and I think she is gradually getting settled. The staff is smiling and helpful. She does not make any complaints. There was a larger room available; that is why I chose the place as that is important for mom. For my mom, this is the best facility.

We visited two Atria -- and we really feel at home in both places -- but we liked Copeland better because of the view outside. We want to look at and see trees. They have this little cabin where we could live, but we are not ready to move yet. The place was clean, the people were friendly, and it was well run. We had lunch there, it was very nice. They’re very hospitable, and I am sure that’s where we will go in the future as they have the same values that we have and we also have friends who live there. We would start in the independent in the cabin and if ever we get disabled then we would have to move inside. I would recommend this facility.

My dad has chosen Atria. We liked the people and the atmosphere and the care that would be provided. The staff was wonderful. They’re very attentive. Anything that he needs, it happens immediately. They check on him, and they’re friendly. It’s what we liked best. We’re very pleased with the staff. The rooms were very large, very spacious, and very clean. They clean them once a week. They come in and make the bed every day. It was wonderful food. They had quail one night and Cornish game hens another night. They have a full calendar. They have probably five different activities a day, all scheduled on a big board so it’s easy for the residents to see. They go on field trip-type outings. They have bingo, exercise classes, music. They bring in people to do concerts and bible studies. They have a full library, both video library and books. It’s conveniently located also. There is shopping and restaurants. The grounds are park-like, so if you wanted to just be in a park, you just step out your door and you’re in a park.

We had a very nice experience during our visit to Atria Copeland. They have a nice backyard. They also have a little pool which should be good for water aerobics. Their apartments, however, were not as nice as the others we saw. Nevertheless, I would recommend this place to others.

Atria Copeland sent me a letter, I called them, and visited their facility. Everyone there was very friendly and it was a welcoming type of facility. They had outdoor and an indoor area. The facility was very nice. The rooms are roomy so far. They were large enough and yet they were small enough so you could maintain the room. Everything was very nice and the staff was very good. When I visited there, they were playing games and they all seemed to be enjoying it.

We visited the Atria Copeland assisted living facility while searching for a place for my brother's friend to live. The outside was very nicely maintained, offering easy access for residents, where they can enjoy walking around freely safely each day. We could see that there is also plenty of space to have cookouts, parties and picnics. The foyer was fresh and bright with very nice decorations and furniture. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light. Each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The colors throughout the building were soothing and comfortable. Activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. The seniors may easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many other stimulating activities. Seniors can use the exercise room at any time and also go on daily walks. Aerobics and yoga classes are offered. The residents go on trips to visit the many local entertainment hubs throughout the region, such as art galleries and museums, casual and fine restaurants and cultural events. The private rooms featured plenty of space in nicely decorated surroundings. All had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The residents here looked very content in their living environment and were well cared for by kind and considerate staff. By all accounts, this looked to us like a vibrant environment with enough interesting activities, but still being a peaceful living area for all of the residents.

We had a dear friend of the family recently admitted to this facility since the tour we received was very nice and friendly. She is a dementia patient and needs special care. Not soon after that we received a call from her doctor's office saying she had come in for an appointment, but didn't remember anything. The facility bus had dropped her off without any paperwork or instructions and then left. We of course hurried to the doctor's office and helped her through the visit. Later we spoke with management and asked how she could have possibly been sent on her own without any care advice. They apologized and gave their regrets, but just kept telling me it "must have been overlooked". We very quickly moved our friend to another facility where things are not 'overlooked' and she can receive the specialized care she needs.
