My father moved from Austin to Treemont Health Care Center a little over a year ago in order to be closer to family after living alone and experiencing health issues. My sisters and I knew it would be a huge transition for him; however, he chose to embrace the Treemont Lifestyle. The staff has taken the time to get to know him, and he knows the staff by name. The variety of activities is a plus, and he looks forward to participating regularly. Who knew he would love to color? The attentiveness and quality of care from the administration, direct care/nursing staff and the therapy has made a positive impact on his demeanor and overall happiness. We are truly grateful for the Treemont family.

My mother-in-law was at Treemont Health Care Center. Our experience was OK. I wasn't super impressed. They kept moving her from room to room and a lot of her clothes that we had sent kind of disappeared and sometimes when I would go up there, she had dried food all over her face. They weren't feeding her properly. When they had her in a semi-private room, it was too crowded and just too close. The staff was friendly, but when I would ask for specific information, they would not give me a lot of information that I was asking for. She was in kind of endstage Alzheimer's. It was more like the nursing care kind of thing. It wasn't assisted living. It was a step up from that. She was in bed. She wasn't able to go to the dining area, but I think the food was fine. They had pureed it like we had asked them to do, so that was good. I didn't taste it. She seemed to like it when I fed her. She was bedridden. They have a lot of activities there for the other people that can get around a little bit better, but she wasn't involved with any of that. Everybody was pretty friendly. The nursing assistants that went to take care of her pretty much tried. They were always friendly and chatted with her.

I my opinion Treemont is the best senior living facility in Houston Texas. Its ownership is a small company and your loved one is their top priority. My mother has been there for 6 plus years. She has been in retirement Assisted Living and now Nursing and I am totally satisfied with her care. I can recommend Treemont to anyone needing a place for their loved one.

My mom has been in Treemont Health Care Center for a month now. I like it. I like the staff and the nurses. Cleanliness is really good. I go there and I always taste the food to see what it is like. My mom loves it but I think it is OK. Her room is good. If you're in a semi-private, it is way too small, but if you're in a private, it is really nice. Treemont Health Care Center is as good as the others.

My mother stayed at Treemont Health Care Center for 3 years and a month. It was a good middle class place. It was overall good care by good people. However, we had a little bit of an issue with things going missing, like my mother lost a blanket, some clothing, and two chargers. Food was not gourmet but they had variety. For a nursing home situation, it was pretty good.

My husband is staying in Treemont Health Care Center for 26 months now. The experience is very good and we are very pleased. The staff is great. I love the nurses and I love the administration. I'm very pleased. My husband's room is clean. They have activities but my husband can't participate in those because he is in a non-responsive state.

Treemont Health Care Center took good care of my dad. They made sure he was clean. They were very responsive to me when I went out and had been concerned about him being restless or perhaps in pain. They made sure that if he wanted something to eat or drink that they would help him with it. They seemed very compassionate. He stayed in the skilled nursing for 10 days maybe two weeks. The staff members genuinely seemed to like him. They were concerned about making sure that I had everything I needed. For being an older facility, the place was clean. They made sure they took care of it.

I couldn't be happier with Treemont Health Care Center. My husband has been in their skilled nursing for six years now. The staff members are terrific. They're very caring and very professional. The living atmosphere is great, too. They have activities and there is music all the time. You can do as much or as little as you want. My husband's room is very nice. It has two windows. Food is very good. I don't see any problem with it. It looks very nice, too. Cleanliness is my number one thing. When I talk about Treemont, I always say it is so clean. I have been to a lot of skilled nursing places, but I couldn't be more satisfied with this place. The nurses are terrific; the CNAs are so willing. It always seems to be improving. The place is old but it is so well maintained. In comparison to other places that I wouldn't want my husband to be in, it is a very fair value and it is the least expensive.
