When we arrived at this facility My wife had just had femur surgery requiring a rod be implanted along her leg. She could not even stand up or go to a bathroom for the most basic needs. The nurses were terrific and care for her with compasion and competence. She had no apetite but the food was delicious and nourished her through the days. Two therapists were assigned to her. The Physical therapist cared for her structure and strenght recovery while the Occupational therapist cared for preparing her to do all basic needs she was accostumed to do like shower, wash/fold clothes, cook. They were two true professionals that nursed my wife to life with gentleness and firmness as the situation required. Though there are many different departments handling the miriad of details her recovery required, it is marvelous all of them worked independently and yet allways tendered to her needs in a reasonable timely fashion. This experience has humbled us and has enriched greatly our cultural awareness of all the wonderful people we encountered at Vosswood. Yes, we recomend this place wholeheartly. My wife is pain free and has recovered her independence.

I used The Vosswood Nursing Center. It's a very small group. It's only about 5 or 6. They were good. They were limited, so I don't think they're the best. Half of the people working there were good and half of them were not. They had activities but I didn't go to any. Activities were too typical like classes, bingo, and movies. What they need to improve are the beds.

This place was horrible .Waited 2 hours to change diaper while peeing and pooping in my diaper.Gave me wrong doses of medication I had to have my daughter sneak in proper doses of meds.I was there one week never got bathed and the staff was understaffed because of COVID. I told my daughter if she didn’t get me out of there I was going to call the cops to take me home!

Beds are old and uncomfortable, tv does not work (all you see is a blotch), food is not healthy, service varies and some of the staff does not show interest and even work with attitude. How can they charge Medicare as if they were running a good place when they are not? It is as f they get paid a 100% for a 60% service. It's wrong!

This place is horrible. I hope I never have to step foot in this place again. The rooms are disgusting, the staff are lazy. My friend is now in a good place. They said she was not being cleaned properly.

The website entices you indicating long term care and it is listed by state group that it has memory care and medicaid facility. Once talking it is not long term, memory care or medicaid. So all info used to draw you in but information on website false and misleading. State organizations should review their eligibility listings.

Staff unresponsive and unconcerned. Could not get administration on the phone. My relative said they were jerked around. Good thing I did not catch them.

I was very apprehensive in choosing Vosswood as a facility for my father after his stroke. But after speaking to there representative who visited us in the hospital I thought I'd give it a try. I must say the stories I had heard was not at all what I experienced. Staff was very kind starting from the representative to therapist. I would recommend this place to anyone that ask. Thank you Vosswood.

The people at The Vosswood were really good to my brother. The general appearance was nice, and they kept it pretty clean. The care was good. I didn't have any complaints there. Rehabilitation was really great, and he really enjoyed it. It got to where he could not do that at all, but he loved that. He also liked getting his haircut donet. The food was pretty good.

This facility (Vosswood) as of today, 03/29/2016,, s under-staffed, provided a HORRIBLE/SAD/HEARTLESS/CARELESS SERVICE for my 87 year old father.. The nurse and the nurses' aids HAVE NO CLUE CLUE, NO IDEA ABOUT THE SIMPLE AND BADIC CARE PROCEDURES FOR AN ELDERLY LIKE MY FATHER , I promise you that within 1 hour of being admitted, I was blown away by how many horrifcly-wrong things they did, My father is on death-bed and they could NOT CARELESS!!!! Please believe me. Not only you CAN NIT TRUST THEM WOTH SIMOLE DIAPER CHAMGE AND HYGENIC MATTERS, BUT CRUCIAL MEDICAL CARE WASN'T being provided. RUN AWAY!

This place needs 0 stars. The service, treatment, and people DO NOT care for your loved one. My Grandmother died 3 weeks after we demaned for her to go to the hospital and leave that facility. They did EVERYTHING wrong and her medication was constantly missing, to list their mistakes would make this review to long. I am posting this only to WARN you DO NOT use this facility.

My mother was in Vosswood for rehab after her stroke. They were attentive to her, but she also was able to speak up if she needed something. The speech therapists were great and worked with the family very well. I don't have any complaints.

For Physical therapy iit is excellent, food is not what you order half the time and not very good, nurses on 3rd floor are excellent. For anything other then physical therapy THIS is not the place to be at.

Vosswood is OK. I just did a quick tour, so I didn't really know much about it. It was nice looking, and the people seemed nice. The sanitation seemed fairly good. I can't say for sure about anything because I did a quick tour. We didn't really have a staff that gave us a tour because it was a weekend. We were just kind of roaming around. We did see the rooms, and they were nice.
