My sister has been@The Heghts for over 3 years. We have had the ups and downs.i am very pleased with the new administrator, Erika. She responds quickly to my questions and concerns. She listens to you. There have been definite improvements since she has come. My sister likes being there and says everyone is good to her. I. Believe this a good place. The activities are good and they make a rreal effort to include everyone.u

Mom was at The Heights of North Houston. This place had constant turnover. I don't believe they paid their employees enough money, and that is the reason why they had a lot of turnover. People at the facility seemed like they were pissed off at the world. They were disgruntled. When you ask for something, they roll their eyes. You could see the facial emotions that they didn't want to do it. They look at you like "You've got to be kidding." When you walked in the door, it smelled of urine. The food was not good. They had physical therapy. They did arts and crafts and the typical stuff they do at these facilities. They were cheaper, but the services were worse.

When we first walked into The Heights of North Houston, we experienced the hospitality. They greeted us at the door. Of course, we had an appointment to tour the place, and so immediately the staff took us around to the various facilities. We looked at the doubles and we looked at the singles units. Everything was very nice and very clean. I smelled the food and it smelled wonderful. The aroma of the food hit us at the door when we first walked in. When you first walk in, you see the foyer area where they have the piano and the living area where everybody would meet. They would do popcorn and ice cream every day. As we walked through, we saw the huge dining room where everybody would come to eat. They have a breakout room where you could go in and meet your family members if you want to have a meeting with just your family members. They have a craft room where they do arts and crafts.

This place used to be a good facility when my mother first went there in 2014. But right now they are always understaffed. When asking questions about my mothers doctors appointments the nurses always seem to be lost and don’t know any information. The communication is not good with Director I have sent emails and never got a response but maybe once.

Big improvements but problems with the food not arriving hot & good taste to it. Hard to sleep when the roommates tv is left on too loud almost all night long. This facility has made major improvements BUT needs to focus other factors involving residents right to have a peaceful rest. Staff is great to the residences here even though they get abuse from some of the patients. Hoping to see more changes and better solutions.

My mom is in a skilled nursing facility called the Heights of North Houston. They give her medications, bathe her, and help her with physical therapy. The rooms are clean, and the food is good.

Horrible place! Mouthy employees. Plan to do everything yourself. First night of check in I changed the dirty sheets. Fourth night there I noticed his catheter bag was missing! He can't walk and it wasn't even in the room. Tonight I changed him for the second time. Food at dinner was so bad two men at my table didn't want to eat it. The nurse never comes to the room when you press the button for help. We've only been here five days. Terrible mistake.

Mom was at The Heights of North Houston and this place was absolutely awful. She was fresh out of a stroke and could not feed herself and three different times that I know of, they brought her a meal and placed on the table, an hour later somebody came and picked it up and she never got her dinner. The only positive thing I can say to this facility is the cleanliness. It was absolutely clean and also the physical therapy was good.
