About The Hallmark Senior Living in Houston, Texas
Assisted Living bridges the gap between independent living and long-term care by serving those who may need daily assistance, but not constant care. This level of living supports and enhances independence, often delaying the need for more intensive nursing care.
Additionally, our assisted living suites feature ten-foot ceilings, crown molding, plantation shutters, and private landscaped patios that open up to our gated garden.
Should you need nursing services on a full-time or short-term basis, our resident-centric approach is designed to restore your health through:
 Delicious, nutritious meals
 Complete therapy services
 Personal care
A full range of recreational, fitness, and social activities
Private resident rooms with private balconies
Your health is your most precious resource, and our nursing center is fully staffed with a board-certified medical director of gerontology, a director of nurses, and a licensed dietician and social worker to keep you at your best.

If you are considering the Hallmark, in downtown Houston TX, a word of advice: have a lawyer read the fine print first. The Hallmark did not turn out to be a continuing-care community in the way our elderly relative understood it when he turned over his life savings for an apartment there. At the Hallmark, once you have difficulty caring for yourself, it will most likely fall on your next of kin to pay for and manage a 24-hour private nursing staff for you. Because the in-home care the Hallmark provides is so deficient and there are so few available rooms in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living, hiring out is the expected course of action. Make no mistake, this so-called Presbyterian organization is run solely with profit in mind, and their target resident is someone who can afford the high cost of private nursing on top of the exorbitant cost of living there. If you're looking for a place that will humanely graduate your level of nursing or memory-care as you need it, without a LOT of additional costs and arrangements, look elsewhere.

Hallmark was clean and well-organized. It was excellent. If I were going to move, that's where I would move. The woman who took us through was outstanding. Everything was in beautiful order. The rooms were handsomely set-up. The tour was excellent. We were there for lunch, and the food was excellent. It was apparent that plenty of the things were set-up. They had a swimming pool.

The Hallmark has been such a blessing in the long-term care of my grandmother. First off, the building is beautiful and well kept. The staff is loving and kind and treats my grandmother with the respect that she deserves. They are extremely attentive, and keep us in the loop with my grandmother's condition. What is really wonderful about the Hallmark is that they not only have assisted living, but Alzheimer's care so that if your loved one is diagnosed with a memory related disease, s/he may transition into this area. This happened to my grandmother a few years ago, and, again, I cannot speak highly enough regarding the Hallmark and the care and attention which they give her. The nutritionist is excellent and her memory and attentiveness have improved dramatically since we moved her into the Hallmark. The Hallmark has many events and activities to keep the residents engaged, and gives my grandmother loads to talk about whenever I call or visit her. I could go on for pages for how grateful I am for the Hallmark and the care which they have given my grandmother. Simply the best place in the city for you or your loved one if you are seeking an Assisted Living or Nursing care facility.
