Outstanding Living is wonderful. The community is great. It feels like I'm in a home, rather than a nursing facility, sharing with a couple of housemates. The people are nice. I get three snacks a day and three meals a day. I have no complaints there. I just need more care. I was released from the hospital too soon, I think, and they should've put me through into that physical therapy wing to work with me a little bit more to strengthen me. Right now, I still need to use a bedpan and a urinal thing. There's one other gentleman in this house who gets in and out of a wheelchair but he needs help in that area because I've heard him needing the assistance. Overall, for a living facility, it's great. The food's good. The first night I was here, I had shrimp tacos. I had lasagna last night, fish tots, and broccoli. The other night, I had porkchop and a nice big salad with it. They're giving you cooked meals. Sometimes if we have lasagna at lunch hour, they'll give us a lighter meal at night, like a sandwich and a salad or something because we have a big heavy meal in the midday. We have a big breakfast in the morning usually. Over the weekend, we get pancakes, sausage, bacon, egg, and a cup of coffee. The cooking is outstanding. The staff is nice. They have one person for four beds. You have that care and attention. My room is very clean and it's kept clean. The girls probably sweep and mop four or five times a day. I'm in a shared room. I have a great roommate. She's a very sweet lady. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom for us ladies. The bathroom in the hall is for the gentleman. It's nice to have that division so we have the females here and the men out there type of thing. It's kept clean. There's a beautiful big area with a TV in every room with a remote. I've taken my wheelchair in the backyard and sat out there in the back area with nice big trees and it's got a cover, so you're not 100% in the sun. They do everybody's laundry. We all have a basket at the foot of our bed and they run the laundry through for us and change our sheets and our little outfits that we're wearing. They clean them for us and return them to us at the end of the day. I would highly recommend it. This is great for assisted living. I'm in Hazelhurst Drive. They've got two homes now.

Outstanding Living was fantastic. They didn't know that I was coming. So it was like a spot-on visit and it was clean. The residents there were happy. The pantry was well stocked with healthy food. It's a great service provider. It was a beautiful facility and it's well-kept with a gorgeous exterior. They even had a really beautiful back porch where residents could sit and get some sun. It was a very nice home. The staff was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very cooperative.
