The staff is very friendly and really cares about the residents. The food is excellent with attention given to variety. It is always a good idea to visit your loved one regularly. In some ways nursing homes are all alike, but this is definitely one of the best ones. There are actiivities to keep resident engaged and frequent visitors.

I got a call that my mother passed away on Friday, January 29,2021- her nurse. I received another call Monday, February 1, 2021 from her regular nurse Kelly. She seemed caring and compassionate to us. No executive director or administrative employees have reached out to me or my family about the passing of our mother except Jocelyn to ask me about my mother's banking statement. Then after telling her how upset I was I got a voice message from Steven the director. Now please tell me how do you go from communicating everyday with someone's family to total silence. A part of me feels that what I was told may have not been the truth. Was she left alone, was my mother neglected or worse and stop breathing and no one was there...I'm not sure at this point but I do find it extremely disturbing, disappointing and sad that no one not one person has reached to even give condolences, please tell me how would you feel if it was your mother....

My mom is in this facility for the rehab part but the plan is to transition her to long term care when Medicaid gets approved. I love this facility. It is very clean, always smells good and they have so many activities listed every day for the residents. My mom likes it and loves the people who take care of her. They are so nice and accommodating. The food is pretty good and healthy. Everyone I have dealt with is knowledgeable and nice and really seem to care about the people they take care of.

I am a teacher and took my students to volunteer here. Upon driving up, it looks very nice on the outside. However, once we went in, it took a long time before someone came up to us. We had an appointment, so they knew we were coming. The staff did not have any idea who we were. Finally, I talked with the director and we were able to tour the facility. The staff was not friendly and did not appear to be knowledgeable. I got the impression that they were there to work, but did not enjoy their jobs. The facility was not the cleanest and the residents were mostly just sitting around or in their rooms. We asked if there was anything we could do to help and they said they did not have any activities at the moment. Our "tour guide" was not very knowledgeable at all.
