DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS FACILITY!!! My mother DIED from complications related to the Stage 4 bed sore (pressure ulcer) she received due to the gross negligence of the nursing staff who was supposedly "caring" for her. June 5, a wound care doctor noted that she was at HIGH RISK for a pressure sore and advised the nursing staff to utilize all protocols to protect her from injury. Seven days later, my mom had a Stage 3 sore, and within a week that same sore had progressed to Stage 4. My mother fought through multiple infections and complications resulting from those infections for two months. The last month, she was clinging to life as her organs slowly began failing. Sadly, she lost her battle on September 28. THIS FACILITY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!

My doctor appointments went totally ignored on a Monday. I was not visited in my room on that day either by anyone from administation and was told on the phone when I called their offices, that the person I woul dspeak with was not in and their was nobody else I could talk to until the next day. Food was awful too.

This is a great place. Doesn't smell. However, I'd called for the social worker days later she called back. She was short in speaking to me. I went there to speak to her to no avail. My calling her again saying that I needed her assistance fell deaf ears. So I left a message for administration. I still haven't gotten that return call over a week now. A lack of communication is truly needed here

The people at Garden Terrace of Houston were very professional and attentive towards my mom. She received physical, occupational, and speech therapies. My mom says the food is good. There are times when my mom would not eat her dinner and when she is about to sleep, and she would say she is hungry. So they provide her with some sandwich and Ensure. My mom plays bingo and board games.

Garden Terrace has a great staff. They were so professional, volatile, and excellent. I do not have any complaints about them. The food was good, and they have a dietitian who sets the meal plan for my mother who is diabetic. They have a lot of activities like bingo and movie nights, and they go to church on Sundays.
