My mom has been to rehab at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation. It was good, and the staff was very patient, attentive, and caring. They worked with Mom in her physical and occupational therapy and did a pretty good job. My mom had a roommate, and there are usually 2 people in a room -- which is not huge but pretty decent-sized. They had lots of activities like Bingo, sing-alongs, and outings to places like museums, so it's a pretty good place.

My boyfriend's mom had been to Copperfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation for two months. At that place, getting the nurses' attention was not the best response time. And at that place, we didn't see any growth despite being focused on rehab. We had a few conflicts with the staff that led to some concerns. There were no serious incidents, but I was trying to make sure that my loved one was changed on time and that she made it to her physical rehab and was supported that way. The appearance was nice. It was kept clean. They had you check in and take your temperature before you walked in. The actual building was nice. It's just more of a staffing concern or their attendance. They had two lounging areas. They had a collection of books and movies in front of a TV and then there's like a dining room. There's a lobby sitting area where you check in. It wasn't impressive, but they didn't do any serious harm.

Seems like a great place to walk in but once your relative is there goes down hill. My Father was left in Diarrhea which was never reported to nurse vy the aides for 5 days. He was sent to Hospital with high white blood count once and recovered and the 2nd time with low O2 rate which he recoved . While he was in the Hospital Housekeeping or staff not only stole his cellphone but also stole in books he had plus some of his clothes. The only thing packed up was in phone charger and a few of his tshirts. When this was reported they didnt care. My Father ended up having C Diff for 5 days without even being noticed and reported This made his condition go down hill. Even though he complained about it when they changed him nothing ever got reported to the nurse. I called my cell service and the phone had been used while my dad was in the hospital by some thief in your staff. It was only a 70.00 smart phone. I had to ask many times for a staff member to change him or help him reposition while we were visiting It was always thats not my job I will call someone else to do it. We were asked after my father recovered a 2nd time from neglet to send him back to skilled and we said absolutely not. He was not receiving any additional care there than his assisted living at least his assisted living had caring aides that took care of him

My mom is in Legend Oaks. The room that she is in is fine. It is nice. She is on the side with the window, and she likes that. She likes bingo and participates in several activities. Sometimes the food is good, and sometimes she does not like it. Most of the staff I say is really good.
