Words can not describe how horrid this home is. The business office located in the Houston facility, the thin brown haired woman is the rudest , uncaring person I have ever met. The front of the facility looks ok. Go look in the back rooms. Patients are not fed properly, meds are not given properly. A patients foot was actually molding into the metal of the bed. He had not been turned for that long. His stuff was stolen after he returned from the VA HOSPITAL. He died and family was not notified on purpose due to the business office our names were on his paperwork. Karma will prevail. We Went to celebrate a holiday with the patient and he wasn't in his bed. they told us he had died. Sad. Don't let this happen to someone u love!! STAY CLEAR!!!!

In my experience - this was a horrible facility. While my family member was living at Lexington, he became malnourished and contracted several serious infections that the nurses would not test for (even after we asked them many times). This resulted in debilitating illness and hospitalization for my loved one. In my experience, the majority of the staff at Lexington were not attentive to patients or family members. They were continually uncaring and extremely rude. With the exception of a few nurses and CNA's, the staff at Lexington does not seem to be at all well trained or care much about their residents or their family members at all - this includes the majority of nurses, the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing, and the Administrator. As a family member who had a loved one at this facility (who is no longer there) I would never, ever recommend that anyone place their loved here.

My grandfather was a resident here. It's best quality by far was the staff. My grandfather had bouts of dementia and was not always the nicest person, but the staff always treated him with patience and kindness. When he had his wits about him he always spoke well of them. The facilities are clean. Not everything is brand new, but everything is in working order and everything is neat and orderly. The facility was small, but not crowded, and it is very conveniently located right next to Memorial Herman Northwest Hospital for emergency care. Care seems specific to the needs of each patient, in my experience at least. My grandfather had a roommate and they were always treated as unique and individual. They were very willing to work with us on payment through medicare and our insurance, and there were never any of the usual headaches that normally come with medical billing. They kept him safe and as comfortable as was possible in his last years, and that's a wonderful thing.
