I toured several facilities with a new resident and we decided on Magnolia Estates. The small size felt much safer. The doors are always locked and a staff member had to let you in and back out. The rooms are large enough and can be made to feel very homey. It’s always clean and fresh smelling. The food has always smelled delicious. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful.

If you love your family member do not put them here. The staff doesn't care, patients have to wait for along time for assistance even though it's a little facility and not that many bedrooms are filled. The residents were great and very welcoming, but I wouldn't trust leaving my family in the care of those who don't care.

They are a smaller facility , allowing for more individual attention. Also provide more health care related assistance other facilities like them don't offer. Atmosphere Is friendly and inviting. Definitely recommend this place for anyone liking for assisted living for themselves our their loved ones.

When I walked into Community Assisted Living of Grand Prairie, one of the first things that I noticed was the smell. It smelled like food cooked in grease. The staff was pleasant and helpful, showing me around the facility. The rooms were not very big and rather cluttered. It appeared to be clean but was not a very modern facility. They offer many services for the residents and have areas for activities. Also, they do take Medicaid (CBA) in addition to private pay.
