My parents moved to Morada Grand Prairie. I liked how welcoming the community was to my parents, that no matter what time of the day we go in, it's always clean and they have a variety of activities available for the seniors. It is located in a very peaceful residential area. My dad mentioned that they have a workout at 9:30 every morning and a chair exercise that they do. When we were moving my parents in, there was a card tournament or a domino tournament. So, they have various activities throughout the day for them to be able to participate in. They're in a studio apartment. It seems small on paper, but it's 300 square feet, so it's pretty roomy. There is a queen bed, two sitting chairs that we were able to fit comfortably in the room, a mini refrigerator, a sink, and a microwave that is provided by the facility. The bathroom is nice and open and I like the fact that they have a total of three windows in the room. So, there is one window in the bathroom, a window that faces the kitchenette, and then a window that faces the open room so they get plenty of sunlight. Everyone is very friendly, pleasant, and patient with the residents. Every time I walk in, the building smells very clean. They do a really good job of keeping the hallways. They are clutter-free. The floors are always clean.

Morada Grand Prairie was a nice facility. The rooms were very nice, and everything was clean. The people were very friendly. My tour guide, Jen, was very nice. I saw the activities room. I was there at lunchtime, so I saw the residents in the dining room. They had a bingo game that was getting ready to start.

Morada Grand Prairie's assisted living was nice, but more expensive than I could afford. It was fine, but the only problem was to live there, I'd have to give up my toys. My boat, my garage, full of tools, and all kinds of other interesting stuff that I don't want to give up to go live in one. I'm not going to give up my toys unless I have to. The facility was nice and it was clean. It would be a good place to live but the problem is it would be boring for a person like me. I would hate to have to live there unless I had no other choice. The location is as good as any, it's central in the metro mass. They had a cafeteria and they had a recreation area where you could play games. I have to say, they didn't have a place to park my boat, there's no place for all my tools, and my hobbies. I have to fix everybody's car in my family because none of them are mechanically inclined so I'm the guy who does that kind of stuff. It's a good place for somebody else to live. The facility looked as good as the rest, I guess. It was okay, I didn't see any evidence of rain leaking, and I didn't see any bugs or anything of that nature.

It was nice and the staff did a great job with my dad. My father is a vegetarian and they offer salads. They offer a lot of activities for the residents, they have exercise and different exercise groups. They also offer media like TV, music, and they have a social hour. I have no complaints about the staff. It seems to be a clean place and it looks nice. I think the cost is expensive.

It was very nice. It's probably the best location for me, but they didn't have any openings. I liked the staff and they had a pretty varied menu for food choices.

If I had the money, I would have chosen it. The person that gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I love that she was not pushy. She was fantastic. It was very neat and very clean. The grounds were beautifully groomed. I was impressed with the physical building. First impression walking through the door was that I could live there.

One of the things that we liked is the arrangement of the facility. It is also clean, and they do have a one bedroom that is available which is one of the things that kind of help us choose. They will have therapy continuing for her. They have a pretty well full procedure of things that she will have. The foyer is open and nice looking. When the staff doesn’t know the answer, they try to get it for me. They serve three meals a day. They have a house doctor. We are also considering. They have a salon and laundry services. They have pretty well full service.

I think that this community is very light with lots of windows and light colors. The staff is very friendly and upbeat. Everybody was kind to introduce themselves, and it’s a good price. They have a studio apartment that’s just one room with a nice walk-in closet and even a small kitchen and a bathroom with walk-in shower. My mother told me the food is great. She’s lived in three different facilities, so according to her, it’s good. She would like for them to have more activities. They have bingo and crafts once a week, which she loves, and movies. They also do a lot of exercise groups that she does not participate in, but she likes the movies and bingo. I have asked, since she got there, that they do her personal laundry, and they have yet to do it. That’s my one annoyance, but otherwise, they have been very quick to do everything.

I’ve already moved in. I live in a big efficiency, and the food is good. We have exercise and they would take us to Wal-mart or to the symphony. They provide transportation to and from your medical and dental appointments. We have an exercise room that we use all the time, Happy Hour every Thursday, and Bible studies on Wednesday. We have three meals a day -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- and a variety of food.

The staff were very polite. I felt very comfortable as they showed me around the apartments and explained the amenities. The problem I had was my mom did not want assisted living. The apartments were small, of course, because there was no need for kitchen but they were wonderful. If mom should ever need assisted living, I would definitely consider this facility. The amenities were very nice. Tanya, the lady who assisted me, was as pleasant as can be. The dining area was well-lighted and it was laid out very nicely such that residents with walkers and wheelchairs can easily move around.

I visited this community. It was very clean. All of the adults were active. They had a special visitor that day, and they were singing. I participated in a birthday celebration and had some cake with them. We didn’t choose this place because it was an assisted living type A facility, and my mother-in-law needed an assisted living type B facility. Nevertheless, I think it would have been a great place. I saw a couple of the rooms, and they were very clean.

It was clean and very attractive. It was close to where we live, and he needed more 24hr care. The staff was fine, nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were very impressed with it, but we just felt he needed more nursing care.

I visited this community. The staff gave us lots of information. They were very helpful. The rooms are in the right size, and they were clean. The dining room was clean, but I wasn't able to taste and see what kind of food they served. I thought as that time, someone was playing the piano or something. What impressed me was that they had a room so they would have their privacy, yet they had commons areas where they could come and interact with the other residents. I was impressed with it, and I would give it a high rating.

The emloyees are fine, they're helpful. The rooms are nice and big enough. I dont know if my mom will ever adjust to living any place other than her house. They have crafts, Bible study, they have a church service on Sunday morning and they go to Walmart on Mondays. Sometimes a group will come in to entertain them. I like the friendliness of the employees but the doctor that comes to service the residents there he's not real attentive. My mother has a kidney infection and I dont talk directly to the doctor but to the nurse that they have there. I'm hoping that this situation will improve.

This community was great. I saw a 1-bedroom and a studio. Everything was good so I can't pick out anything that was better.

It is a nice and a really good place, but it was out of my price range. The rooms and the studios were nice. It has lots of bookcases in them and I thought was really great. The people there are lovely. It was such a pretty place and it was large.
