We live in Watermere at Frisco. It's not perfect, but it's probably as perfect or more perfect than many. One needs to relearn how to live in community living, and that's where a lot of the biggest problems arise. But I think they have great many activities and great workout rooms, and we have found that it works well for us. One of the things is the close relationship that Watermere at Frisco has with the physical therapy group that is in here is invaluable. They are wonderful. They offer meals depending on which plan you want to be on here. You can either go in every day or you can get a couple of days a week plus breakfast every day. We have breakfast almost every morning down there. We eat dinners two nights a week almost every time that they offer them, and we occasionally will go for lunch. A lot of people will eat lunch rather than dinner. They offer lunch six days a week and they offer dinner twice a week. What they offer varies. They offer day adventures or trips, sometimes to casinos and sometimes to other attractions in the area. Shopping is available; you can take the bus. They provide doctor appointment transportation. They have all sorts of activities like bridge and dominoes, and then some activities that are a little bit more active like beanbag baseball, table shuffleboard, and pool. There are a lot of things going on them. They have an excellent exercise program. Probably 20 different classes are offered easily, more than most people can do. You pick two or three and that's what you live with, unless you want to be a full-time active person. We are satisfied with the value for the money. You should take advantage of the activities that are offered, otherwise you're paying for something you don't use.

Watermere at Frisco was nicer because it was newer. The staff was perfect. We interacted with some of the residents and they were amazing. I could move in there myself.

My mom liked our tour of the Watermere at Frisco even though it's a little bit above her pay scale. It's very well-kept and has a friendly staff with an exuberant personality. They have a very caring and loving director. It was brand-new and the room we saw was a 600 square foot 1-bedroom with a bathroom and kitchen, it had a microwave oven and nice appliances. And it was on the second story so there was an elevator to get to the second floor. It overlooked the courtyard area. We spoke with about 10-15 different tenants that live there, and they all seemed very pleased with the property, the maintenance staff, and the help. Everyone we spoke to had a very good disposition about their living situation there. They gave my mother a parting gift, which was like a little pound cake. They've got an indoor heated pool, a gym, pool tables, they do wine tasting, and they had something like a shuffleboard. They have an area where a bunch of sports activities goes on like ping-pong.

Watermere at Frisco looked like a very high-end facility. Everything was clean and new. Upkeep was very nice. They've got an indoor covered pool, a very nice gym and very nice patios. The apartments looked relatively new. They had a very wide range of activities and it is surrounded in a very nice community itself. It looks like you're in the middle of a neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We toured quite a few communities, and this one was by far the best.

We're in Watermere at Frisco. We have been here for a couple of years now. It's a good community. They have pleasant apartments. They have good food, and they serve three meals a day. They have a lot of activities. You can stay as busy as you want to or you can do nothing, so it's up to you entirely. It fits most people's requirements. They have excellent staff. We have a two-bedroom apartment; it's very nice. We're on the second floor and have a street view; we see people walking by and driving by, etc. It's quite nice. The outdoor spaces are excellent. Unlike some of these places, they're not hidden away. It's right on the city street. There are apartments and homes surrounding the place, so it's like living in a neighborhood. The building is topnotch. It's four years old. We've been here for a couple of years, and it's well maintained. The upkeep is very good and we have no complaints at all. It's a very good place to live. It's got everything we need or want. There are card games, a gym, all kinds of exercise machine, and a swimming pool.

When the time comes, Watermere at Frisco is probably where we will go. We frankly liked everything about it and everything they had to offer; everything was great. The person who gave us the tour was wonderful, and Ryan was wonderful; he's superb. They offered a meal but we haven't taken advantage of that yet. The facility is the best, it's very modern, clean and excellent. They have everything you could want; what they don't have, you don't need. They have a pool, workout center, garden area, everything.

Watermere at Frisco was nice, but the problem with them was everything's a la carte. It's not one price. If you want more meals, more amenities, more of this and that, then they start adding it up, then it would be hundreds and hundreds of dollars more. They nickel-and-dime you and I didn't like that. They charge everything up, even if you live there, including meals and covered parking. You get your six breakfasts a week for free, but if you want dinners or lunches, then you have to pay like $300 to $400 more. If you want housekeeping twice a month instead of once a month, you have to pay extra for that as well. So everything is quite expensive. It's a newer facility though and the apartments were nice. They have a washer and dryer in the unit. They had a nice little dining area, and an indoor pool, so it's very high class. The staff was very helpful too, but they kept us waiting for thirty minutes because they were very busy. All the other places we visited were right on time, so they were just running so far behind. However, they gave me one of those pastry cakes, so that was very kind of them.

Watermere at Frisco is beautiful. The apartments were of different sizes. They showed all the features, all the extras, the parking, the recreation facilities, and the dining facilities. My mom got a chance to meet with some of the residents, and she was impressed. They had happy hour, availability of the heated pool year-round, board games, library, and computer access if you don't have your own. The staff was really nice and helpful. The residents that had been there for over a year were telling us how nice and great the staff was. It's clean, new, fancy, and not cheap. We saw the dining facility, and everyone said the food was great.

I liked Watermere at Frisco a lot. It's very attractive, new, clean, and has all the same programs that everybody else has, but they don't have food. It's truly independent living. If that's what you're looking for, then the place is seemingly nice.

Watermere at Frisco's price was very good, but it was very big. It was really gorgeous, but the hallways were very long, so if you have mobility issues, it might be challenging (unless you have electric scooter). The staff was friendly and informative. They had a lot of activities. They have many common areas where people can gather, and they have a movie room. I also saw people playing cards. It was beautiful and the apartments were gorgeous with very nice finishes. My mom really liked it, but all the 1-bedrooms were far away from the common gathering areas. Their food was a little different too; they only offer food on certain days.

Watermere at Frisco didn't suit me because it didn't feel like a community. Most of the people seemed to go off on their own rather than participate. The place was lovely to look at and new, but it wasn't for me. It's more like living in a building where you don't know how to get to really know the people. They don't have that many activities. The apartment I saw was beautiful, but I just didn't get a feel for the community at all.

My mother-in-law moved into Watermere. It's an excellent, kept-up, beautiful facility. The staff is very nice, very accommodating, and worked with me to transfer mom from Ohio to Texas. The dining area is lovely, but she hasn't eaten there yet. They have a book club, a crochet/knitting club, and swim yoga. She wants to do all that.

Watermere at Frisco was our favorite of the places we visited. The dining area was good. We liked the apartments and we found the floor plan that we liked. It had a kitchen with all the appliances. They had the usual games and they had off-site activities and regularly scheduled trips to grocery stores and doctors' offices. We were pleased with the person who showed us around and she introduced us to the manager. They were very pleasant and very cooperative.

Watermere at Frisco was the one we liked the most because it had more people that were aging. The facilities were good. We liked that they had a full kitchen. They had washer and dryer hook-up, they serve two meals a day, and a new structure just opened. The staff was very helpful and the activities were good. We liked that it had a patio and a good view that looked down over the garden. We tried the food and the amenities, and we really liked all of it.
