I was a resident of Parsons House for 5-6 months. I left on November 15th, 2021. The Mission Statement indicates SERVING elders, showing unconditional Love, nurturing personal growth, celebrating Life and making a difference in patrons lives. Only when You experience something can one share real feelings that are accurate and true. Parsons offers WONDERFUL amenities that are very healthy and entertaining. This assisted living facility is most reasonable, clean and comfortable. The staff and workers show CARING and Commitment. I really feel there are NO words to accurately express how AWESOME I was treated. I have to say, "I WAS SPOILED"!! I truly recommend Parsons House and You would do yourself or a loved one a real favor by visiting Parsons House before You make a decision of where You or a loved person will be BEST cared and served. Parsons is the best all around assisted living facility.

I wouldn't put my loved one here. The quality of care has dramatically decreased since COVID - they are constantly understaffed and apparently don't pay enough to incentivize the staff they do have to stay. Weekly cleaning services are provided, yet our relative's room is consistently dirty - especially the bathroom. Don't be deceived when you visit, they put on a good show and promise the moon, but never, never deliver. Unless you're willing to visit your loved one daily to make sure they're being cared for properly (and have as just as many discussions with the staff as to why that's not happening), don't go here.

Parsons House Frisco has been fine and has been a good community. It seems like a good fit for my dad. His room is nice and very spacious, and he seems very happy with the food. The staff is very helpful and very nice too. They offer exercises, cards, bingo, movies, puzzles, games, and activities that are very similar to any of the other facilities, and they have an outside patio area that the residents sit at. It's just an older building. It is one of the older facilities in the area.

Parsons House Frisco was very good. The rooms were good. They had a movie theater, library, card games, puzzles, and field trips. They had lots of activities. I only met one staff member, and she was good.

My dad has moved into Parsons House Frisco. The price is comparable to other areas. It is a little bit older than the other community, but my dad's room is nice. The staff seems friendly and respectful. The people are friendly. There is good variety of activities. My dad likes to do bingo. They have singing groups and other different groups that come in to do entertainment. They have games and movies. They do transportation for shopping and doctors' appointments. The food is very good. They have a lot of variety of food. There is a range of times that you can come down to eat. If you want lunch, you can go between 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m.

We have selected The Lodge at Quail Park. It is a good facility. It has the right care for the right price. It is clean. It also has the right amenities for my dad. Their rooms are above average as far as size and amenities. They have plenty of games, movie nights, and social entertainments. There is just something going on everyday. They have outside activities too.

My parents live in this facility and I have stayed there several days at a time while visiting. As others have written, the people are friendly, the food is good, the entertainment is great, and the common areas are clean. It is a good place for people who require minimal assistance or for mostly independent living. They do not help or guide people who need assistance. I don't know whether this is because the staff is not trained, or they are short staffed or the staff isn't well supervised. Same issues have been brought to the attention of management for over a year without resolution.

The Lodge is a two-story building. It was very clean and very well kept. We met the chef and we talked about all the different things that he served. He tries to vary the meals and to be sure to give the residents good healthy meals, so I was really impressed with that because my in-laws have a tendency to eat a lot of junk. The activities director kept a lot of activities going on in the facility. They did a lot of outings. They had a room set up where they had movie nights with popcorn and drinks. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and really knew their job. I was very impressed with them. What's really interesting with this facility is that they adopted a dog that lived there, and he just roams around and visits the residents. I thought that was really neat. They're using it as a sort of a therapy for the residents, especially the ones who tend to not get out of their apartments very often. The rooms were smaller but they did have a nice covered patio off of the bedroom and that was really nice. We did get to talk to some of the residents -- they were very friendly and they had very positive things to say about it. What stands out with this community is the cleanliness, and how well-kept the area is. It looked like it was freshly painted and clean. I just really appreciated that aspect. The only problem I had with that facility was that it was a two-story facility. Also, it had a long waiting list, so it was going to be awhile before my in-laws could get in.

We chose The Lodge for my father because it was very clean and the staff was personable. Every staff member that I met was extremely personable. I have eaten there and the food was great. The place is small and the staff is caring. The people there are extremely nice and attentive. They have movie nights as well as trips to Wal-Mart. They also have live entertainment come in.

This is the number 1 assisted living facility in Texas. My mom lived there for 6 years and they did a great job. She loved it there. Their loving care and attention to her kept her alive for 6 years. He had a stroke 11 years ago and we were blessed to have her that long. She has just passed at 88 years old. Let me help you make your decision as it is a tough one as where to put your aging parents for good care. There are lots of activities that the activity director will arrange they will not be bored. And the rooms are like an apartment 4 rooms so the transition is an easy one. You will not be sorry that you chose the Lodge on Preston Ridge for your loved one.
