I toured DaySpring Assisted Living. The caring was so sweet and kind, more loving and caring than just most of them. It's very clean and smells nice. It was good. The staff was a very long person who cared. The dining area was nice. They were doing puzzles and playing games. The facility felt homey.

I went to look at DaySpring Assisted Living. The staff was very nice, courteous, and helpful. It was just not what we were looking for my dad. The room was pretty small for my mom and dad. The facility was very clean. They had a little fun time going on, which was nice. They seemed very attentive to everyone. They have nurses there, a salon, and a gym.

DaySpring Assisted Living was a very good and clean facility. It's got nice rooms and caring staff. I went to the memory care unit. It was recommended to my friend from someone, and we found it to be very good. The studio had a large bedroom, large closets, bathroom, storage, and kitchenette. It was a secured unit, and we required that. It specializes in dementia or Alzheimer's. It looked like it would be a very good place for you or your relative if they need a good place. There's a TV room and dining, they had games in there, and there's a pretty large outdoor garden or patio area.

We chose DaySpring Assisted Living for my sister and brother-in-law. I liked the atmosphere. I like the personnel. I like the size and the layout of the facility. I like the fact that it's a faith-based community, and that they have a continuity of staff there that I didn't find in other places. The food is fine, they have a varied menu, and the food is very adequate. It's not 5-star cuisine, but it's good. Everything is clean. It's well-organized. There's no clutter, there's no disorganization. It's very, very well managed and very well run.

DaySpring Assisted Living was OK, but it was a little far. Other than that, they were pleasant. The adviser was very bubbly. It was really kind of funny. Even the people cooking came out and said hi, so that was OK. There seems to be quite a few people that were doing things. But it was just a little far, and I'm trying to stay as close as I can. Most of the accommodations were studios. Some of them were bigger, of course, than others. They had back doors to go out to the courtyard. The courtyard looked a little big, but it's a place to get out and get some air. They have an activity area. I don't know what it's called, but it's pretty much one big room. They could do movies if they wanted to, or have somebody come in and play the piano. The place was nice.

We were impressed with DaySpring Assisted Living. It's a little bit older, but it's a very friendly community. They're very caring and quite attentive. They were a little bit more careful about COVID restrictions. They took a couple of additional measures to ensure the safety of the residents. We didn't meet as many staff members as we did at the other place. The facilities were nicely kept, very welcoming, and faith based. They're actually connected to a church that's right next to their facility. They introduced us to the activities director, and they mentioned that they actually go around to the rooms and try to get as many participants as possible to participate in their activities. They had a library and some interesting rooms. There's an organization that comes by every Saturday and takes participants on a bike ride if they're interested, and that was quite unique. They have a room where the residents go in and do puzzles and people donate puzzles to them. They've got several rooms, which they haven't been able to use during COVID. They had several places where family can come and sit and visit with their loved ones. They also had quite an impressive security system. All the doors have alarms on them, so if anybody accidentally walks out the door or comes in the door, the alarms sound, and they're able to address that.

This facility has been such a blessing to my family. They take such wonderful care of their residence and go out of their way to make sure they get the best care and love. They communicate so well with the family and give regular updates. During the shut down with COVID they kept everyone safe when we couldn’t visit and we knew our family member was well cared for. I would recommend them to anyone looking fir assisted living or memory care. We are blessed to have found d them.

We chose DaySpring Assisted Living for my mom. She's moved into their assisted living. It's just a personal feeling that she would be taken care of there. We like the caretakers, and the people are very, very nice. The facilities are very nice and very comfortable. It has the basics. It doesn't have a lot of extra things that some of the pricier places have, but my mom wouldn't take advantage of those anyway. The layout was compact, easy to get around, and it wasn't a very large facility. There's a hair salon, a library, a game room, and a park. They have games, Bible studies, and singing hymns. My mom doesn't really participate in them.

My father is in DaySpring Assisted Living. Their staff is very professional, very kind, and very patient. It's a wonderful Christian-based atmosphere and the size of the memory care is not too big. It's not overcrowded, a smaller facility, which is a better fit for us. Everything is going great and he's loving the food. The facility is very nice, with lots of activities, more than he can even keep up with. They do crafts, they've got music, therapy, bible study, and many different choices. They're very well priced. He has a very nice sized private room.

I liked DaySpring Assisted Living. It was nice and the lady behind the desk was really nice and sweet. I liked the dining room because they give you the menu in advance, and they also have some options for other things. They have a whole list if activities and they explained that you get points from the activities which you can use to buy gifts.

I didn't like DaySpring Assisted Living. It's just my gut feeling. It wasn't beautiful. There was no outdoor area to go to. I didn't see a courtyard or a sitting area. It just seemed old and blah, and it was small. They showed me a studio. The lady who showed me around the place was very nice. The facility was just old and plain.

Never have I seen a community more in tune, aware, or so loving to their residents! This community is not a typical assisted living. This is a family! I would recommend this family to anyone!

DaySpring was a nice facility but went a little overboard on the Christianity part to me. We saw a small studio that was nice and an area where they do ice cream Sundays that was decorated with a really cute soda fountain theme. The dining area was nice and very clean.

Dayspring is without a doubt the most loving and caring senior living facility in DFW Metroplex and beyond. From caretakers, nurse, to admin clerk staff and kitchen workers and housekeepers, the quality of services here is 5 stars!

I was not impressed with DaySpring Assisted Living. I don’t think I could move in there, but they’re nice and friendly. They invited me for a meal, and it was good. The room seemed to be a little small for what I wanted, and their prices were fair.

DaySpring is a better fit for my father, it’s a smaller environment, and it seemed more intimate. The staff was wonderful, and it was affiliated with the church. They had nice activities as well.

We were able to visit Dayspring Assisted Living. The rooms were small, and they did not have a room available that was big enough. They were very nice and caring people. With regards to their amenities, it was a bigger facility, and it looked updated and newer which appealed to me.

DaySpring Assisted Living was smaller, so I like it because it was a little bit more personalized. The people there seemed nice. It was really between this and the other community. I like the location. It’s closer to where I live. It’s assisted living, and they’re building a memory unit for people with memory problems.

Residents of Day Spring are well cared for and happy. They are shown respect and dignity by all staff members. There is a genuine concern and warmth shown to each resident. These same qualities are in turn reflected by the residents toward each other. In the words of several residents, "This is a good place to be."

We are okay about everything at DaySpring Assisted Living. Mom has not complained about anything. They are on time with her medications all the time. Mom gets to choose what she wants to eat. The staff is extremely friendly, and helpful. I cannot say anything bad about this facility. Mom’s room is of good size. It has two large closets. It comes with a small kitchenette, and a refrigerator. The room is very clean. Someone comes in to empty the trash several times throughout the day. I would recommend this facility to anybody.

My mother lives at DaySpring. The staff is loving and takes excellent care of her. There are many activities to keep her busy and socializing within the community. There is a strong spiritual component to everything in the community. She is happy and I feel very good about where she is living.

I looked at Day Spring and that was more like a nursing home atmosphere. The staff seemed very confident and friendly but the residents were almost to nursing care status. That was more the clientele that they seem to attract there. The rooms were nice. As far as staff and the longevity of the people that worked there and the kindness, I’d rate them a 5. It just wasn’t suitable for the personalities and the health conditions of the people I was looking for. I couldn’t have asked for a better place if they would have suited the personalities of those that I had charge over but it wouldn’t have. I have a 88 year old, active, zoomy, woman.

We visited the Day Spring Assisted Living assisted living facility while searching for a place for our aunt to live in the Plano region. The outside area was very nicely maintained. The grounds outside offered easy access for residents, where they can enjoy walking around safely. We could see that there is also plenty of space to have parties and other gatherings. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation. The foyer was fresh and bright with very nice decorations and furniture. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light. Each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The colors throughout the building were soothing and comfortable. Communal activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. The seniors can easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many stimulating activities. The exercise room featured well maintained exercise equipment and aerobics and yoga classes. The residents go on trips to visit the many area galleries and museums, eat at casual and fine restaurants and enjoy the many other cultural events offered in the surrounding region. The private rooms featured plenty of space in nicely decorated surroundings. All had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. The seniors looked like they really enjoyed this living environment and the staff was considerate, kind and caring.
