They have a lot of longevity on their team and everyone is very kind. Open door policy to address any concerns. Director and nurse along with other staff have been there over 6 years. My grandfather lived here and was well taken care of . The different levels of care helped our family so he could age in place

My husband was in the SOUND Unit for one month. His room was either hot or freezing, after a week they replaced the thermostat, but still not right. I even paid for someone to look at it since they turn a “blind eye,” this got nowhere. The final straw, I requested five packets of his meds. No high blood pressure pill, no memory pill, not to mention they were supposed to order through their pharmacy, they don’t do it! Five times I was asked to get meds! Why did they insist using their pharmacy! DON’T GO HERE!

We were promised many things that never happened when my mom moved into the sound at Harbor Chase. Her medication was mismanaged by forgetting to give her insulin and pills and then lying about it. When we tried to communicate our concerns with management we were treated like we were bothering them. The food was served cold and 1/2 hour to an hour late on a daily basis. The cleaning and laundry service was only done when asked to do it numerous time. Caregiver turnover was high with the good caregivers always leaving. We lasted 3 months and are now at a wonderful place where they actually do their job and do what they promise and my mom is thriving and happy. Don't be fooled by how wonderful the place looks because that is where the services end. The promises they make will never happen and they make it very difficult to communicate your concerns with them.

My husband and I were given a tour of Harbor Chase and we were extremely impressed. We hope to be residents of Harbor Chase when we are ready for assisted living. The food was wonderful. We came back for a Father's Day Brunch and the food was just as good as the day we toured the facility.

My mom lived there for 2 years, through the pandemic & lockdowns & Texas freeze. The staff were wonderful and resourceful. The caregivers were patient and kind. The facility is clean and well appointed. They had many activities and seemed to meet the residents at the level they needed. The staff & management were accessible, communicative, and quick to respond to requests.

My mom moved into HarborChase of Plano. It's only been a little over a month. So far, it's been very positive. It's very hotel-like. It's like a very well run hotel, elegant, and spacious. It had good landscaping. The staff appear well-trained, and they appear very residents-focused. I get regular calls from the director to update me of the progress, so that's good. The activities were for the memory care portion and memory enhancement. They played games, but my mother doesn't participate in that very much.

My 99 year old mother has lived at HarborChase for over a year. She absolutely loves it! The director, Ashley, is incredible and always available to help. Her caregivers are the most amazing and caring individuals. I'd leave 10 stars if I could!

Please don't leave your loved ones here. My grandmother was there for a few days. They rarely answer the phone and when they do, they either hang up on you or they are extremely rude.

It’s a beautiful senior adult living facility! I love visiting Harbor Chase in Plano! Everything about the place speaks volumes about how it is run on a daily basis! It is managed by one of the most compassionate and responsible managers I’ve ever known! The place is extremely well kept! They serve great food, have compassionate employees and always have activities for the residents that keep them active and alert! I would recommend this Senior Adult living center to any family !

HarborChase of Plano is a beautiful facility. The common areas are very tastefully done. The colors are very soothing. The staff is extremely professional. We ate in their dining room and the service was impeccable. The staff went out of their way. There were four of us who went and one had her birthday, and they had baked a birthday cake just for her. We looked at both a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment and they seemed very small to us. We didn't find a lot of storage and there's nothing outside of the apartment to store anything in. There was a parking area, but we would like to have covered parking. I have an electric wheelchair, a walker, and an electric scooter, and there's no place in the apartment (or outside) that we would be able to store all of those things. I had salad and it was so fresh, so green, and so beautiful. The servers were dressed in a uniform, wearing nametags, had their hair tied back, they served the food properly, and were very well trained. The chef came out to meet us and the food was more than we could eat. It was quite good and we were impressed. There were a lot of choices. They had a bistro, a nice dining room, a pizza oven, and private dining. It may have been the time of day we were there, but we didn't see many people in the dining area. They have a lot of different activities. They had several trips off campus. They were also telling us about their memory care situation and that was an impressive idea. They had their memory care divided into at least two different groups.

I cannot say enough how wonderful the HarborChase Plano community is for my mother. It all starts with their fabulous Director and the kind, caring, knowledgeable staff who work alongside her. They all truly care about their residents and the families of those who reside at HC, which can't be said for all Assisted Living/Memory Care facilities in the area. Every detail was well thought out in designing HC, and my mother truly feels at home in her spacious apartment. We are extremely impressed with the chef's cuisine and enjoy dining with her there on occasion, or socializing with other residents and families in the adjacent bar. There is never a reason to be bored at HC with all of the activities they have that cater to every resident, no matter their level of care. My mother seems so much happier and more relaxed since moving to HarborChase from a nearby facility last Fall, which is a blessing to her family. I give full credit to the wonderful staff for the positive change in her. HarborChase Plano is more than just a residential community with a staff....it's a home with extended family.

I’m choosing HarborChase. The executive director has been with the company for seven years but not at that location. Also the memory care director has 20 years in that business. HarborChase is a brand-new place. The tour was wonderful. The rooms for memory care are downstairs for right now, and then they also have rooms upstairs and assisted living. They have a wonderful chef. He really knows how to prepare the food. They have a nice dining room and nice places where all the people meet. They have all kinds of programs for the residents and entertainment that comes in. I’ve visited about six or seven places, and HarborChase is a notch above everybody. They have a great executive director and a great memory care director. They treat you like family. The food is excellent there. They just opened up, and they’re going to get their license probably sometime this month. Since we’re charter members, we will be moving in August.
