I have a relative at Tandy Village and it is my brother. He has been there a year and 6 months. He has been in facilities and group homes for over 30 years. Tandy Village has exceeded our expectations and it is the best place he has ever been. The room is always clean including the bathroom. The staff is kind and helpful and goes over and beyond to help my brother. The administration is kind and helpful too and explains situations. We are thankful we can know he is taken care of on a daily basis with food, snacks, a warm bed, medical care, and new friends. Activities are available like Bingo and even books to read. Thank you Tandy Village.

This is a very nice facility for a loved one to reside in. The food is very good. The staff is compassionate and attentive to the clients' needs. Access to medical care is excellent.

My Mom lived there for 3 weeks. Her room was never cleaned, the entire time she was there. The staff had a problem with me visiting her everyday. The halls smell like body fluids. If you care anything about your loved ones please do not take them to Tandy Village

I found the facility very clean and the staff members, with whom I spoke, seemed very polite and were accommodating. My aunt goes on and on about the nice people there and she seems genuinely happy with living there. She had raved about the food, so I ate with her on a few occasions and she was right. Bland, hospital food was what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised that the meals are of restaurant quality and although healthy, quite tasty, too. My aunt likes that Tandy Village offers activities and she is able to participate in card games and dominoes. She goes on and on about the other residents, all who seem to be happy with living at Tandy Village. I have met quite a few of the residents and they all have their favorite staff, but have positive things to say about all of them. Overall good feeling when I have been visiting, which is a blessing, with so many horror stories out about some assisted living facilities. I am glad my Aunt is at Tandy Village.

This is a very nice facility. The workers are all very friendly with the residents and family members that come to visit. They are very helpful to the residents that need assistance with personal things such as correspondence, they offer free income tax services. They do alot of activities with the residents, they provide shuttle to grocery store, Drs. appt. They chartered a bus and took all the residents that were able to go to Winstar Casino in Oklahoma for the day. Inside is very clean they take good care of the inside and outside. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for one. Alittle pricey but it is well worth the money they charge. They have activities on certain days such as Bingo. Food is very good.

It took them a week to clean his room after he had a seizure. They moved him without telling me to another apartment and then stole half of his personal belongings.

We visited Tandy Village assisted living facility as a possible new home for our aunt. The building looked well maintained and nicely landscaped. The inside foyer was also very nicely decorated with comfortable furnishings. For a more modern facility, the higher ceilings made it seem more spacious. There is lots of light throughout, with light colored hardwood flooring. We first saw the large library with many impressive books and a curved table that can also be used to host private events. The staff seemed to be doing a great job of caring for the seniors, all of whom seemed very comfortable in their living environment. The outside was well designed and gave nice access to the seniors "“ where they hold many social events "“ from barbeques to private parties and picnics. Residents can enjoy the outdoors with minimal or more supervision. The communal rooms were decorated nicely throughout. The activities range from games to great discussions. Residents may enjoy reading quietly in the library, watching movies and TV "“ or use the computers. The residents also displayed various ambulation levels. Our aunt has some slight memory loss, which we were told they could handle well. All of the indoor areas were very clean with lots of air and light. Plenty of natural light also in private rooms so that every room was cheery with personalized decorations. The food we tried tasted nutritious. The menus had plenty of healthy options, regardless of the dietary requirements. Snacks also looked great, are offered regularly, and whenever seniors ask for them. The activities include physical exercise, both outside and inside. Workout rooms offer classes and DVDs were also available to use. They visit local eateries, art galleries and museums, local cultural events plus engage in natural outdoor activities. The residents can also safely walk around the grounds. This facility is quite nice, with content and well cared for residents.
