I moved into Autumn Leaves. It is very close to my daughter, who wanted me to move down here so she could take care of me. It's been pretty good. I've had a lot of help. The facility was very nice. It's not a large room, but it's enough for one person. It has a small kitchen where I can cook if I so choose. The bathroom is nice. It has a shower, which I like. Everything is pretty well within my reach, and that's what I would like. I don't need a big place. The food has been very good. They provide a lot of food. The staff members have been very good and helpful. They check on me and try to fix things if I need something fixed. I'm very pleased with this place so far.

Autumn Leaves is in a very beautiful area of Dallas. It's got an excellent location. It was very comfortable. There were residents in a communal room socializing. We were very disappointed with the staff during the tour though. She did not appear to be at all prepared for our visit. They apparently would not be able to accommodate special diets. There wasn't a workout area at all. We walked quite a distance looking for or trying to find apartments that she could show us. The places we went to were all under construction or repair.

We went to Autumn Leaves. It's simple. The entrance is not homey looking, but it was just fine. There was somebody right there that we asked questions to get to the right person for the appointment. There was a little bit of an odor. It's an older facility, so it had a little bit of an older smell to it. The staff were very friendly, very helpful. We passed by one of their workers and she on her own greeted us. The dining area wasn't large. We looked at a private room, but it did have a shared shower area, and some of the showers were down the hall. Hanna was very helpful and very pleasant.

Just wanted to say thank you for taking such great care of my mother's dear friend at Autumn Leaves. Your staff is wonderful and helpful. Her apartment has a very nice view of the lake. She likes the food. And she loves the activities! The weekly trips to Walmart are also helpful. Thanks!

The Autumn Leaves in Dallas was very well-kept. The workers were extremely nice and the living quarters were also extremely nice. It's located not only somewhere where they have privacy, but if they want to take a walk, there are plenty of places nearby where they don't have to go far for what they need so it's very accessible. I toured their independent living and it's a very well-kept property. They have amenities like the beauty parlor that's inside. I thought that was awesome. We got to see a studio, which was very nice. It has a beautiful kitchen, an awesome bathroom, and a nice view.

I've selected Autumn Leaves for my aunt. It's quaint, very well kept, and it's a perfect fit for our loved one. The staff is very friendly and courteous. It's got trees and it's got a homey feel to it. Their amenities weren't any different than anyone else. It's the personalities of the campus that would be a perfect fit for our loved one. I'm thankful that the food is so good that my aunt is gonna be able to gain weight, which she desperately needs. Being an older building, the apartment had actually more room, and it was more accommodating.

I saw the Autumn Leaves. It was fine, it was great, but I'm staying where I am right now. It was very pleasant, everybody was nice, and courteous. The lady, Carol, showed me the apartments. She did a good job of showing me all the apartments they had available, the sizes and they were fine. She showed me all the recreational places, they were nice, I like the pool table and dumbbells area. I saw the media room, I got a full tour of the place, and I was impressed. I liked the apartments. I talked to a couple of residents, and they seemed very happy.

Autumn Leaves was in a great location. It was convenient for us, and it was right on the lake. It looked nice and clean. The person who took us around was friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. The dining room was large and bright too. The rooms were updated and clean, but the overall physical appearance of the building was older. I'm sure that normally there would be people out doing things, but it was empty during my visit, so I didn't really have much of a feel to it.

I chose Autumn Leaves because it had the largest unit that I could find. It's an older property, so their apartments are much larger, and it has a full kitchen, not just a little sink and a small refrigerator. It has a stove and everything. It's actually like an apartment, not just a hotel room. I have nice windows. It's south facing, and I can get a covered parking space. I like the property. It's lovely, it's well taken care of, and it has good reviews, so I'm very comfortable. The main things were the size of the apartment and the amount of wall space. I have a lot of art, and I'd like to keep as much of it as I can. The staff was great. It's a really nice place. Everyone was super nice. I did not get to taste the food, but I met with the head of the department that handles all of that, and I got a copy of the menu. The menu looked good. Given that the apartment has a full kitchen, if there is a day that I don't want something they have, I can fix whatever I want, and that part, I liked. If I was in one of those smaller places with just a sink and a refrigerator, I'd just be stuck, and you don't always want what they're going to serve. I didn't see any salmon on the menu, so I asked the staff, "Do you serve salmon?" and he said that they would start fixing it. The menu looked great, and the breakfast on it looked really good and varied. I didn't get to taste anything, but I feel like it's going to be good. It's a beautiful facility. The grounds were beautiful, and the inside was beautiful.

I have been a resident here for 2 years. The facility is well kept. The staff is outstanding and caring. The food service is top-notch. The location is one of the finest in Dallas, right next to White Rock Lake and its parks. I give it an A+

I'm staying at Autumn Leaves in Dallas. It's very good, and I'm quite pleased here. They have no pool, but they have dining services. The food is excellent. I do not know any activities because I have not been here long enough. I moved in last Saturday. I chose this community because of my health.

Autumn Leaves was a nice place. They had a really nice dining area. They have a lake that makes it easy to go out and walk around if you want to. The building that I was in, even for independent living, was like a hotel. The hallways were kind of dark and there were older apartments. Obviously, it was an older building. The people were nice, but it was a long way from where my daughter lives. The staff was really nice.

Autumn Leaves on White Rock Lake was not as modern as some of the other places we saw and it's a smaller community. There were only 40 people in the independent part, and we wanted something a little larger. The staff was really nice, but I didn't see anything going on. Everybody was just in their apartments.

My mom stayed at Autumn Leaves for two weeks. She was unhappy there because it was dark, dreary looking, and not welcoming at all. I went almost every day, and I didn't get to know a helper. The doctor that they had on staff was quite old, and we didn't think he was competent.

Mom is now in a nice apartment that she likes in Autumn Leaves. The staff is always friendly. She says they take care of her very well. We are hearing only positive feedback from her. They invited me to lunch, and the food tasted good and had a good variety. They could make some improvements, but they are so minor that it doesn’t matter. It is a convenient community for me and my sister to get to.

Autumn Leaves is an older facility; you can tell it's in dire need of renovation, and they are understaffed. A good part of it was actually under renovation. The rooms were up-to date, and there were small apartments for each person. It doesn't smell horrible, but it's not great either. The nurses have been there a long time, so they liked what they're doing.

The first facility I lived in was Autumn Leaves on White Rock Lake. The residents were very nice. I had made some good friends there. I wasn't as old as most of the residents, and I didn't like the way some of the people were treated. They could treat their older residents that have some dementia with a little more compassion. I had bed bugs, and for 3 months, I asked them to get rid of them and to work with me on getting whatever I needed to do. They just shook their finger on my face and told me I was overreacting. My daughter called, and they came out and took pictures of my arms and the bites. After 3 months, I moved. The rooms were nice. The place was not particularly clean and had a very musty smell. The food was fair; they served 3 meals a day. They have games. They have a pool table and workout machines. They do little field trips and they eat out. They have musicians and speakers come in. They have a Catholic and a Protestant service.

I visited Autumn Leaves, and that was really nice. I liked the atmosphere. The surrounding was very peaceful, and it was very nice. The director was absolutely wonderful. I saw the common areas, the cafeteria, dining room, and the exercise room. It really left a good impression. I met just a couple of staff very briefly, but I didn't have time to really have a conversation. It was homey, very friendly, and pleasant.

Autumn Leaves was kind of an older community which my mom would like, but they felt like they could not take her because she needs memory care. I like the rooms and everything. They were nice and bright with balconies. They also have patios. We were invited to a meal during our visit, and the food was good. The staff was friendly and nice.

My mom has been in assisted living in Autumn Leaves for a year, and then she moved to full nursing care in the same facility. The assisted living is very friendly and very warm. The staff is caring and friendly. The residents are also very friendly. There are all kinds of activities. There are plenty of social events and games. They are always class programs going on. The food is good, but it is not home cooking by any means. The dining area is very pleasant. It has a number of small tables. There is a gym, a very nice outdoor park area or picnic area, and a number of patio areas. The landscaping is quite nice. It was a private girl school before, so it had that ambiance of a private school.

I like it here at Autumn Leaves Nursing Center. They provide meals, laundry, housekeeping service and etc. The staff is very good. I have a little apartment that is nice and cozy. I have my own little kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave. They have a dining room down there but they bring my food to my room. Food is great.

Autumn Leaves (Emerald Isle) was very nice. The rooms were very spacious enough for a couple. It was overlooking the lake. It had hardwood floor with two bedrooms. It was an old building with an old charm. I would recommend them to others.

Autumn Leaves is close to where my sister and I live. We also had relatives who were there before and they were always happy there. The staff are very caring and thorough. It is a very clean and nice facility.

Autumn Leaves Nursing Center was a clean facility. However, my mom's stay there was a nightmare. Her legs were swollen twice their size and they did nothing to try to help get the swelling down. Even the nurse was not intelligent enough to know to put a pillow on her legs to raise it when she put her to bed. I had to tell her to do that. I was not happy with the general care that they got there. I would not recommend them.

It was elegant, but it was depressively elegant and dark. I was not happy with the place itself. It was a locked facility, but she knew the code because we was not a pre-alzheimer's patient. But they would place her into a tiny room and told her where to sit and took her food there and it wasn't edible food. The food was awful. However, my mom enjoyed when they go out on Fridays to eat out with the other residents.

The Autumn Leaves Personal Care Unit is an assisted living facility that we decided to visit since we were in the area. They graciously accepted our request for a tour, despite not having an appointment. We are looking for a place for our aunt to live. The outdoor area was nicely kept and looked like a wonderful place for seniors to enjoy safely. We saw some seniors outside relaxing in the shade with staff nearby who seemed very caring, but not intrusive. Everyone had their own space and was treated with respect. The main areas were all nicely designed with beautiful furnishings. The artwork was particularly nice at this facility -- some of the nicest we've seen so far. The communal rooms all had an aura of comfort - where seniors could relax and enjoy a variety of activities. There are reading, crafts, media and game rooms to enjoy. The dining areas all had a nice atmosphere - friendly and homey. The home-style foods offered all looked healthy and delicious. They change up the menus frequently, adding to them regularly. Residents may also place special orders if they like. The exercise facilities were nice, which residents are encouraged to enjoy. They offer yoga and stretch classes, help with equipment and strength training. Seniors may also enjoy the outdoor park way and paths -- along the flagrant flowers. In addition to the activities hosted at the facility, seniors are treated to regular excursions in and around Dallas -- to enjoy the vibrant communities from art to fine dining, shopping, art and more. This is a nice facility in a great area - which gives the residents everything they need -- from great care to access to everything that Dallas has to offer.
