I'm at The Tradition-Lovers Lane. It's very comfortable. The apartment that I've got is nice. It's about 900-square feet with really great high ceilings and a nice patio. I'm very comfortable. One of its major attractions is the dining room where there are all kinds of people with whom you can talk to, and that's the real advantage. The staff are very cordial and helpful. I have no complaint about them. If you have a request or if you need something, it is dealt with immediately. They come right away, and they're very cordial. Food is OK. They're improving it. It's not wonderful, but it's OK. They have all kinds of activities. There's an immense monthly calendar that comes out with all kinds of activities. It's everything under the sun that you can imagine from games to be played of various kinds and then various lecturers come in to talk about arts and museums. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra comes and has performances and so on. It's very diverse, and it's high quality. There's a billiard room and small meeting rooms where people play bridge. There are all kinds of bridge groups here. There's a large bistro room, and there are happy hours on Friday afternoons. The facility is great, very comfortable, very nice, beautifully kept, and clean.

About The Tradition - Lovers Lane in Dallas, Texas
At The Tradition, Beauty is just the Beginning 'Beauty' and 'resort-style living' are used far too easily in describing senior living communities today. But at Tradition Senior Living communities, those words hit the mark. Here's why: After years of working in Senior Living across Texas, founder Jonathan Perlman decided that he wanted to develop a Senior Living community with a new vision. First, he determined that superlative service and care would be foundational. He chose the name 'Tradition' to connote family heritage and classic design. When he asked a talented residential interior designer to create the interiors for the community, she protested that she had never designed anything on such a scale. He replied, 'Do as you always do ? make it feel beautiful and welcoming like a home ? just a larger one!" He then invited Dallas area seniors to participate in focus groups, and he acted upon their requests for exceptional security, fine dining, a fitness center, a constant flow of fun social activities, and programs that foster mental and physical health. Today, Tradition Senior Living provides senior living in two different locations in Dallas. Both communities are warmed by antiques and filled with natural light in gorgeous common areas. Residents dine by the firelight in an elegant, spacious dining room. Gentlemen read their papers in plush sofas and chairs surrounded by Old World prints and paintings. Ladies play cards in a room painted an ethereal color. When they retire, it's too extraordinary private living areas detailed with crown molding and individual balconies. It's just like home ? only better. Assisted Living with all the warmth and comfort of home. Surround yourself with a world of beauty, which is just the beginning of Tradition's Assisted Living Communities. Informative and interesting activities that focus on wellness will beckon daily; our restaurant-style dining will offer an extensive, ever-changing menu; our cutting-edge technology ? truly unsurpassed ? will promote safety and proactive care for each resident. And finally, a superbly trained staff will provide graciousness and hospitality throughout each day. Memory Care with custom plan designed for each individual A beautiful and nurturing environment will surround residents at Tradition's Memory Care Communities. We will work carefully with family members of residents suffering from Alzheimers or dementia, developing a customized care plan before any resident moves in. Our cutting-edge technology ? truly unsurpassed ? will promote safety and proactive care for your loved one. And finally, a superbly trained staff will provide graciousness and hospitality throughout each day.To learn more about this provider's license and review other available state reports, please visit: Texas Long-Term Care Provider Search

I liked the Tradition - Lovers Lane very much. I looked at independent living. I think by the time I move I may go into assisted living, but I loved it. The rooms were very nice. They had an art studio because I paint. Everything was very clean and neat. I have not had a meal there, but I hear the food is very good. I haven't really met anybody or had anything to eat there, but I was impressed. I liked everything. Why I really looked there is because it was right next to Central Market and I love Central Market. The woman who toured me couldn't have been nicer. I met a couple of people who work there and they were very nice, too. She was excellent. She asked all the questions, and she showed me everything that I was interested in.

The people that we met and the apartments that we saw at The Tradition - Lovers Lane were nice. There is always a bus there ready to take you anywhere you need to go. They have drinks down in the lounge and lots of games. The staff was very friendly.

The Tradition - Lovers Lane is very positive and excellent. I visited both the independent and assisted living. The food was good, the atmosphere in the dining room was excellent, and my impression of the staff was very positive. Shopping is convenient and there's a large grocery store across the street that has a bank and a pharmacy. There's also other commercial shopping less than five-minutes away.

I've been in The Tradition Lovers Lane for two years now. My experience has been very good. It's excellent. They assist me in every way that I have asked them to. They're very good. They have bridge, bingo, poker, a gorgeous swimming pool, path where you can walk your dog to the park, and free transportation. They have everything. The food is excellent. Everything is a 5 here. I have a two-bedroom, two-bath. It's a lovely place.

My dad moved into Tradition early march. It's beautiful, top-notch, and elegant. It's comfortable, nice, and very luxurious. They had several activities scheduled every day, and they really get to know the people who are there and try to arrange activities based on what they want to do. They're always updating, and they're very flexible. My dad is in the assisted living. His room is very spacious, he's got a living room, a small kitchen, a bedroom, a large bathroom, and a walk-in closet.

Everybody was very friendly at The Tradition-Lovers Lane. For me, it was too big. I looked at independent living there, but now I really don’t think I can handle independent. I received invitations for speakers and luncheons, and I attended quite a few of those and was very impressed with them. They had a theater, a swimming pool, and a room for exercise with the equipment in it. It’s very expensive, but it’s very nice. The dining area had white tablecloths and napkins and very comfortable chairs. It looked out onto a grassy area with shrubs and flowers.
